Fish & Treat

So I was craving for a fish and chips on a NY day arvo and found this gem of a place. I ordered seafood basket. Served by a friendly uncle whom happily answered my questions. Cozy restaurant that feels like an outback deli. It is neat and clean. Seafood basket was sizeable with plenty of chips and generous two servings of hake fish. At $17, it was great value. Quality is great too. I agree with some of the reviews where chips were crunchily tasty and were not oily. Fish were great with crunchy batter yet juicy in the inside. Food aside, the menu instore, in my opinion, is kind of confusing with plenty of options and prices plastered all over. I will visit again to taste their other food. Recommended to try if you want a no fuss tasty fish and chips.

I always driving pass there everyday and noticed this fish n chips. So we tried first time tonight. The fish and chips so nice, perfectly cooked and not oily. Great service from uncle and aunty, thanks for the service. Definitely come back. God bless you

Has an old school nan and pop vibe and the food is delicious and at a great price. Can't go wrong. They don't just have fish and chips, highly recommend

Well stopped in as Ive noticed the shop over many years the fish and chips were badly over cooked the lot went straight into the bin totally uneatable i can only think that the owners are new at this and have no ability in the fast food industry I hope they are no longer in business in the not to distant future.

Place looks sketchy but food was amazing. Found myself a new favourite fish n chips shop to spend money on after a 5 hour skate session down mills park drenched in sweat, all hungry and thirsty.

I asked for a 3 people meal ($36), the lady insisted that I take 3 individual meals ($33) which according to her comes with 3 large chips and bigger fishes.
Only for the husband to serve as 3 cold and small chips and 3 big fishes that didn't smell good.
I later noticed that the 3 people meal also comes with crabstiks and a drink, I even ordered even last time but they didn't give me the drink.
Last time the food was very hot and tasty despite not having us the drink. But today's food was a different story, I couldn't eat the fish and had to warm up the chips
No honesty.

Let me just say, I grew up a 5 minute walk from this place (or less). It was the highlight of my week when I was able to scrape together enough money to go over and get myself a local fish and chips. Their food is so great, I would find myself making the 25 minute drive over just to taste some after I moved away. And they have so much to choose from! Drinks, ice cream, corn dogs, burgers + many many more. Also I don’t know if it’s just my childhood nostalgia talking, but the atmosphere is very cosy and the feeling of just being inside the store makes me sense the authenticity of the food. Not to mention the prices are super good, and the people running it are super genuine and nice people. You can tell they really care about their business. I simply refuse to buy fish and chips from anywhere else.

Not bad! A few more chips for the price would be nice! But it was busy, and the girl behind the counter could see I didn't want to stand or go near the other people standing in the way at the register. (Covid-19) So she took my order from a distance and I quickly paid, when it was ready she brought it around from the other people to me! That's what service is!

Amazing little shop! The owners are the nicest people you'll meet and they do some of the best fried chicken Perth has to offer.

The WA Department of Health revealed Beckenham Fish N Treat was fined $100,000 for 10 breaches, you don't get $100,000 fine for first time breach or for something not so bad especially when the building its operated out of is brand new ;) City of Gosnells CEO Ian Cowie said health inspectors had previously issued six infringement notices to the fish and chip shop over concerns about food hygiene. STAY AWAY - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The shop needs more light and clean up. The health inspector should look into the matter.

Food was not bad. Would have been better for the chips and gravy I ordered to be served together in a container rather than paper.

Lovely old couple Auntie and Uncle why working so hard. Their fish is nice and crispy. Love their chips so crunchy. First time we came, he gave us another fish. Thank you very much. Would come back there if we craving for fish and chips

I recently ordered over $100 worth of food from this place via UBER. When it arrived the first thing I noticed was the extra sauces I have ordered was no where to be seen. The snapper was dry, the chips were over cooked - they were so hard to bite on. The burger buns was old and the fried chicken was crispy however it was tasteless. We know now never to order from this shop again.
