Absolutely disgusting; this might sound like a weird thing to say in a review about a realestate agency, however the disgraceful behaviour shown by this business cannot be summed up in any other way. We dealt with about 7 employees during the term of our lease, and each was more hopeless than the last, each either quitting or being fired, then replaced with the next under trained, unqualified individual. It is difficult to say whether this behaviour is malicious or merely due to utter incompetence, however it is totally unacceptable. The stress and anger this business has riled up in the Broome community is unmatched, and all complaints fall on deaf ears. Avoid if you can!

Just want to say Thankyou to Bree and the team for sorting out our property when our tenants did a runner. Knowledgeable staff that know the process with court/insurances and gave us really great advice.

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst property management company I have ever dealt with. They blatantly lie to their tenants, they avoid phone calls and e-mails and even pretend they are busy or not in the office when they are. They refuse to do repairs until you harass them for months. They attempt to make things so difficult that you give up. I had to put in a complaint to the ombudsman to get my bond back because they kept making up reasons why it hadn’t been returned over a month after moving out. As far as I can tell, everyone in that office is either completely incompetent or just a terrible person and a liar.

Re: the response below, that is absolutely a lie. It took so long to get my bond back I’d started a complaint with the ombudsmen and that is when they finally paid me. I couldn’t even get a response for weeks they kept dodging my calls and said there was no one in the office when I stopped by. The response below is absurd.

More than a fortnight ago we called twice about a property that is still on the market and they have not called back. I would be very upset if that was my property that is sitting empty.

Bree has been the property manager for my property. She was really proactive when our tenants were vacating and kept us up to date the whole time to secure us new tenants. Really glad we transferred our management to Bree.

SOPHIE at first national addressed this complaint today, and was beautiful about it an understanding, thank you Sophie.
I hope that this unfortunate review is good encouragement for better service and hopefully not many others have to experience the same mess. Thank you for your professional response.

At the moment I'm sure everyone can agree, being in leasing in Broome during this boom is incredibly difficult. Unfortunately for First National Broome they seem quite content at making their job as painful as absolutely possible.
We have been looking at rentals for over a month now, and yet have only been able to apply for 4 properties, one of which took two weeks before the property manager has still not passed applications to the owner, so we applied for a more suitable property, after another long week waiting to hear back from the owner, apparently they decided not to rent the property at all. Since then we have had another application in for a week now, of which the property is still having viewings and our application is sitting in property manager limbo.
The staff do not use phone calls, their communication is aweful, and I feel so bad for the girl on the front desk and the new staff who seem to be swamped in an inefficient and angering computer based waste of everyone's time. Not good at all first national.

Jay was extremely helpful in getting the deal over the line in challenging circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble and he coordinated everything smoothly between myself, the seller and tradies. Very happy to recommend both Jay and First National.

Have been renting this property since 2018 and have always found the Property Managers to be wonderful. They listen to any concerns, and I believe, act in both the best interests of the Tenant and the Owner. Have never had a problem with contacting my Property Manager and they are always prompt in having any urgent matters attended to. I would have no hesitation in recommending First National Real Estate and in particular, Lynette Pope, who is a great asset to the team. I am a Property Owner as well and I do not get this level of service from my property manager in Perth. Well done First National. Julie Dunne

I have been working with First National Broome since 2014 as their property photographer. They are extremely easy to work with and always very professional. The sales team are always willing to go that extra mile and ensure that their client’s homes are presented perfectly for sale.
Additional to this, before I purchased my property, I was a tenant of a property managed by First National and I was extremely impressed with the level of care that the Property Manager went to for the owner.
So as well as enjoying working with the team at First National Broome, I would have no hesitation in recommending their services for Real Estate Sales and Property Management.

Being a new and inexperienced landlord and having my invest property managed by the team at First National has been such a pleasant and stress free experience, so far.
As I am also a current tenant with First National Real Estate it is interesting getting to experience both sides as a landlord and a tenant & it’s good to know that the same level of great service is being delivered.

We have been tenants of First National for nearly two years and feel like we struck gold with such efficient, prompt and friendly property managers. We have nothing but praise for our current property manager who goes above and beyond to deal with any issues that arise. We personally own three properties ourselves and know how difficult it can be to find property managers who take care of our properties to the standard we hope for so we are especially appreciative of the service First National provide. Keep up the great work guys!

Backpackers GO AWAY! Worst experience with an agency of my life. When you try to communicate with them there are always problems or they are not in the office. They rent houses when is usual that the kids break into the house lot of times and they dont even say it to the new tenants. They don’t care about their tenants. And if you want your bond back you have to leave the house in better conditions than when you start the leash. So if you are gonna rent a house with them be careful with all the details because they are a group of SCAMMERS.

I have been a landlord with First National Real Estate Broome for 5 years, and all I can say is they take the STRESS out of owning investment property. With everything that has happened in the Broome property market, in the last 5 years, the one consistent has been First National's stress free service that allows me to do what I do while they professionally do what they do. My property is cared for as if I was living it, thank you to the all the team for making it easy.

We purchased our home with First National Broome and couldn't be happier. Lana Ziverts was so informative and friendly and we really felt as though she understood what we wanted and appreciated her honest approach. The property had been managed by Tia Miller who has been unbelievable helpful and forthcoming with information and assistance whilst we transitioned into taking over management. Thank you so much for all your help during and after the settlement process. We could not recommend enough, and it was all done whilst we were in Sydney.
