My partner and I recently had the pleasure of working with First Homebuilders to build our very first home. We have heard countless horror stories about the building industry, so we were a bit apprehensive about the process and unsure if building was the right choice for us. However, from the moment we had our first conversation with First Homebuilders, we knew we were in good hands. There was just something about the vibe that felt right. It may sound strange, but from that moment on, all of our worries and concerns about building a home seemed to vanish.

The whole process has been a breeze. First Homebuilders has been incredibly transparent and realistic with our options for what we wanted to achieve. We are so grateful for the hard work and dedication of the team. I mean, slab down in April 2023 and key handover in January 2024, can’t complain about that at all!

We would like to give a special shout out to our site manager, Tony. He has been working efficiently behind the scenes and has been an absolute legend throughout this entire process. Tony goes above and beyond to help, and his willingness to accommodate our needs has been truly remarkable. He even arranged site visits with technicians over his Christmas break to ensure that we could get our air conditioning system installed. We cannot thank Tony enough for his dedication and commitment to our home.

Overall, our experience with First Homebuilders has been exceptional. We are extremely pleased with the progress of our home, and we owe a great deal of thanks to the entire team, especially Tony. We highly recommend First Homebuilders to anyone looking to build their dream home in Perth. A great experience. Excellent communication and quality of service. I had a building inspector tell me that the building quality is commendable and that he will be recommending them. Kevin Hickey was my builder and was very accommodating and approachable. From my initial consultation to completion was seamless. Given the current climate in the building industry, First Home Builders validated themselves as professionals.

Our experience with First Home Builders was 10/10! Excellent service from the whole FHB team. They are passionate about what they do and it shows down to every last detail. The experience from initial meeting through to key handover has been a breeze. I’ve found the whole team to be helpful, transparent and responsive. Any issues have been rectified quickly and construction was done in a timely manner. At all times I’ve felt understood by the team which has gone a long way to getting what I wanted out of the build.

In a time with such turmoil and doubt in the building industry and all the horror stories I’ve heard elsewhere I feel lucky we chose FHB as we had very few issues.

WE'VE JUST HIT SLAB DOWN! Our literal RAY of sunshine since first getting in contact about our building options out of the many other companies, first home builders and Ray were the ONLY ones not pressuring us, actually taking the time to talk to us about our needs and wants in a house and going back to the drawing board with a build perfect for our family! Everything was made so easy through pre start finance and choosing where we want to build! I thought building would be so stressful.it really isn't, the hardest part was choosing what kind of handles you want in your kitchen, Lisa made it super fun during pre start with alot of laughs! Can't wait for our build to be finished, will be writing another review then! Huge thanks to Ray for all you have done for us spending time with us literally meeting our whole family celebrating our slab down! Can't recommend you enough dude! Thank you!

After multiple meetings with different companies and home consultants, I have made the decision to build with First Home Builders and I am so glad I did. From the first sit down with Lee till now, it has been such a smooth sailing process with building my first home. He has great knowledge, great communication and he made me feel comfortable with it all from the start. Great communication as well from those I've been working with alongside Lee. Pre-approval was in November 2022, slab down March 2023. Couldn't recommend First Home Builders and Lee enough.

Danny was our first impression of First Homebuilders and the amount of information he provided, in such an easy to digest manner, just blew us away! We made the choice quickly and the whole process was made really easy by Danny and the team. We were kept up to date every step of the way, emails were responded to quickly and everything was always well explained. Overall, a good building company with a friendly team

Terrible communication. Left parts out of build. Didn't take any accountability for their mistakes. Wasted my time lying to me saying things were fixed when they weren't, resulting in multiple PCI meetings.

My experience with First Home Builders and in particular Lee Hall to date has been nothing short of incredible. Building a home in this current market I had my reservations, I thought sales people tell you whatever you want to hear to sign you up. I signed up despite these reservations. I was wrong Lee and First Home Builders, follow through on exactly what they say. From the first meeting, to finance, to pre-start to the slab being poured, it has been a breeze and it’s been 3mths. Time frames have been met and we are absolutely on schedule for completion. I can’t thank them all enough for the easy stress free journey into building my first home, answering my questions, and communicating with me throughout this process. Will post another review as things progress, so far I absolutely highly recommend.

I am so grateful for Reece at First Home Builders with a dream of having my own home. I am a single mum that is working. I was turn away from other services. Reece has walked through step by step of working out my finances, and options of where I would be eligible and setting goals to made it possible. He drew up the design and help find a great location to suit my family. He has help liaise with Keystart and the settlement agent every step of the way and always answered my calls. Now that all the approvals are done just have to complete the build now. I am truely grateful for making this possible and highly recommend this service.

This review has been a while coming. We have been in our home nearly a year, and its time to write a review. I hope its helpful.

Firstly I cannot recommend Danny Milne highly enough. To say he goes above and beyond is not even remotely close to cutting it. He was a super hero. Right up until the final inspection he was there to help with any issue or question we had. Ruth also needs a special mention. She was amazing - thank god she took over from the previous lady (who left) who was pretty terrible. Ruth is Excellent. If Gemma was with us for the entre build this review would be VERY different in a bad way.

First home builders were very accommodating to the many changes we requested and helped us amend the existing design to fit our particular needs. The finish and build quality is great. No Horror stories here. We had a few outside the norm requests and requirements and they worked with us on them. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to build their first home. ASK for Danny.

Couldn’t say a bad word about First Homebuilders! No question was too silly or too hard, everyone we dealt with were amazing (especially Danny & Ruth!). We have been in our house for nearly 6 months now and we’re absolutely in love with it. Thank you First Homebuilders!

Currently building with first home builders. Save your self the time and hassle and choose a different builder. Reece the salesman has lied about inclusions in the build. 1. Being that front landscaping was included but we have been informed today that it is also not included. We expected the rear landscaping and painting to not be done but front landscaping was included. The finance team recommend to us completely messed us around for months and we had to get a new broker all together to fix his mess. Lisa the new prestart consultant who took over from the fantastic Ruth is condescending, rude and can’t even respond to emails as “she has a lot going on” or even send an acknowledgement so you constantly feel like you are chasing things up. She also can’t read the contents of the email and needs serval reminders to update relevant information. Plus the inclusions are not worth it and you’ll end up sending a lot more money fixing budget items. All throughout this build and we aren’t even at plate height has been such a nightmare. I asked the director to now contact me twice regarding these issues and they also have not contacted me back. They do a lot of push back and try and just get the most out of you being first time builders we didn’t know what to expect. Would never use first home builders. Funny thing is I’ve been asked several times to add a 5 star review from the sales consultant but what 5 star service do I have to talk about?

UPDATE: Had the owner call me to remove the post for defamation when everything i have said in this can be backed up by texts and emails and is very easily proven.

What a pleasure it has been to deal with First Homebuilders. Throughout my build I was well looked after, and everything was dealt with in an efficient manner.
