First Choice Liquor Ellenbrook reviews
30I can't thank jake and tristen enough they helped me pick the perfect wine for my wedding everyone complimented it. Their knowledge was amazing and super helpful
Not a massive range of boutique or international products & the walk in cold room wasn't huge. But prices were good, store layout was open & easy to navigate & the staff were friendly.
My partner almost 39 years of age, was asked for ID, toddler dropped her licence somewhere but she has all other cards and working with children ID on her stating DOB etc. Was refused service which I understand there are rules to be followed. However I was with her, with my driver's licence went to pay cashier refused to provide service. Maybe the cashier lacks bit of customer service at least arrange your manager to make the call. Walked out went to another store.
Had placed an online order. Drove a distance to collect. Realised wallet had been left at home. Was told in no uncertain terms that order couldn't be collected without ID. Call home and had a picture of licence and bank card sent to my phone. Was told no, photo ID not acceptable, even though it was a very clear picture of my current and valid driver's licence. Stated how far away it was for me to drive home and retrieve wallet. The young guy quite snappily said "OK, but just this once".
Next minute while waiting on order to be sorted a very young lady comes in, states she has no ID as her wallet was stolen. Young lady isn't even questioned about it, gets sold a bottle of whisky, and off she goes. Double standards and extremely bad service
Employees are always eager to help and it's good to see people smile. As much as customer service, it is one of the best.
Have u ever drink avian type Emu beer bc it refresh type beverage after long day of negotiate with multiple biryani dealer for best 5kg deal with good chicken to rice ratio and then malaka message u offering 16 kfc zinger fillet diet pepsi 1.3 L (nutritional zone) if u make claim of drink emu beer and u pretend u hate but infact u finesse mode to hustle kfc bread from pure idiot but later he renege on dealings go full traitor type (lebron leave cleveland mode) even u threaten him he respond casual like so u achieve no bread and now u drinking skunked heineken and anticipate diarrhea bc of chemical reaction with bad biryani (note: need new biriyani dealer) ?
@First Choice Liquor does this
I visited the store after landing on a flight from Adelaide. My friends and I went into the store and upon entry were stopped abruptly stopped by a very rude woman who asked to see all of our ID’s. Some of us only had our ID’s on our phones (a government approved app). We were told this wasn’t good enough and that WA is the only state that doesn’t accept digital ID even though each individual state has their own app for ID. We were at the counter ready to purchase about 200-300 dollars worth of alcohol but we’re denied again, even the staff agreed it was “stupid”. I understand things vary from state to state but to not even serve one of us because they didn’t have a physical ID is ridiculous. People in the group are all aged 25 and over and clearly adults. Get a grip.
Have been here many times and staff ware very polite every time, But today on 21st Sunday the lady in the cashier who was wearing a mask asked only a black lady and the brown guy for ID and no one else who were Aussies. Asking for ID is totally fine and must be respected, but racial discrimination can’t be tolarated. Looked completely racist and was un polite to the both lady and the guy.
Friendly helpful staff first time shopping here at the ellenbrook store. Is very big like Dan Murphy stores.
I have great service every time I go there especially Trent and Hellen.why go any where else cheees marty
Young girl overcharged me on checkout by scanning something totally random and adding to my bill (20/05/22 4.30pm). It was her mistake. When I got my change back and questioned the amount, I was told to get to the side and wait. Even after realising she made the mistake she kept servicing every new person in the queue and making me wait. When I asked her when she was planning to deal with the problem she said they were busy. Only when I told her I was not going to wait any longer as it was her mistake and demanded my money back she decided to give it to me. Ridiculous. Customer service below zero. It wasn't the mistake but her attitude and the way she handled the situation. Not coming back.
Staff are always friendly & helpful, only thing is I am sorry the only drink I like has gone up again
Horrific experience.the staff were extremely rude and very un helpful with making my drink choice were almost trying to push me out the door just wanted me in and out absolute amazed by how rude the staff were.
Great choice of drinks. I especially love gin so the range is very good. They stock bottles from Margaret River and from the Swan Valley as well. Thus supporting locals!
I have not shopped here before, this was the first time. The shop was clean and had a pretty good range to select from. Prices were reasonable with the odd special. Staff were lacking to ask questions though, but then again it was 8.30pm, so maybe they have a skeleton crew at that time. If you are looking for a large range to choose from and you are in Ellenbrook, then this is most likely a good place to start.
Went in to check out the store one of the assistant came to me and helped me with my requirement great service and great produces, thank you.
Really well stocked store, lots of variety, roomy, and mostly very pleasant and helpful staff. Pain of a car park but prefer going here than any of the other 57 liquor shops in Ellenbrook.
Beer selection is getting better but never have enough “full” cartons of craft beer and have to make with 4 and 6 packs off the shelf BUT be careful with this as sometime they try to charge you pack price instead of carton price. I don’t believe this is intentional just rookies on the tills.
Very Friendly and helpful staff. I don't have a lot of knowledge about alcoholic drinks, and I was buying for a friend, I asked one of the staff for recommendation and the girl was so helpful and helped me choose the right one. I Was very happy with the service.
Terrible staff. Went in with ID yet they asked my friend who was Not purchasing or consuming alcohol for ID and refused to serve me. Never coming here again. Missed out on thousands of dollars.
