Fika on Brix

My boyfriend and I favourite place to be for our breakie. Quick service and friendly staff. Most importantly they pancakes for the weekend is our guilty treat after hard working during the week days. They seasonal menu is always a surprise for us to try new things.

Absolute gem! Love fika! It's our favourite cafe. Service is fantastic, shout out to Connie, Joel, and Novelle (hope that's right?), absolute Legends (we miss you Jack, Ben, and Brit!)! And of course Mel, the fabulous owner, the most lovely, friendly cafe owner I know!

They have a standard menu with favourites and then a seasonal menu as well! Currently the Chipotle beans and Angus Burger are front runners for this season's top dish!

And if you don't know it, Mills Park playground is the best around! Super chill atmosphere, City of Gosnells Park Play activities, "Kenwick" Library, skate park, basketball courts, soccer and cricket pitches, and a huge footy oval are all within 2min walk of the cafe (the kids nature play area is literally right out front of the cafe).

Superb food in a fantastic location with most excellent coffee!

What a great spot for breakfast, the food was good and their service was superb.we we greeted straight away and offered choices of seats and a quick explanation of the weekend specials.highly recommended

Always happy after going here. You'll have trouble making a choice, as there are so many great options, but no matter what you order, it will be yummy!

Ordered juice & Iced chocolate. Avoid the iced chocolate. Literally milk and drinking chocolate sprinkled on top. No cream or ice cream. Wouldn't order this again.

Fresh and good quality food. Good place eat if you looking for good breakfast place. Will be back soon.

Lovely place with great food and coffee! My pulled pork breakfast was super yummy with nicely done eggs although the shashukka (wrong spelling?) was a tad bland with just beans and eggs: (

Love this place. It's right next to the NaturePlay area of Mills Park, so the kids had fun after we all ate a delicious lunch. The staff were very friendly and the menu was extensive without there being too much choice.

Great service and atmosphere. Food was good, though could be more flavourful. Hubby loved the waffles and I enjoyed the croissant but the pulled pork had/added no flavour.

This has become my new local. Food is consistently amazing and the staff are all lovely - pancake Sundays highly recommended! Couldn't ask for a better Cafe.

Second time at Fika on Brix and we had a fantastic meal. Be prepared it can get very busy, we put our name on a wait list and were seated within 15 minutes on a busy Sunday morning.
The bulgogi beef hash was fantastic, everything single ingredient was delicious. My partner has fried eggs on toast with bacon and he was very happy. Hot coffees were great and cold brew was amazing.

Only reason for 4 stars is the first time we attended (a month or two prior) our meals got lost and it wasn't until we had waited 45 minutes and approached staff ourselves that it was sorted out. We had the specialty pancakes and they tasted great. We understand mistakes can happen and once flagged with staff they were able to quickly sort out our meals.

We are really glad we gave it a second try and would strongly recommend.

Came in on a Sunday morning (which is their busiest time so do make a reservation!) just to try their coffee. Was greeted by amazing staff and immediately help me find a seat with an area to accommodate my electric scooter. Ordered their Sunday pancakes and a large flat white.

Gotta say.the pancakes were amazing and aesthetic. Each layer were buttered evenly. Surrounded by strawberry jam, biscuit crumbs, nuts, yellow jelly (don’t know what it is but it’s good), mint, and topped off with a nice scoop of their vanilla gelato. Each bite was just perfect with no signs of any uncooked batter or dry/ burnt areas.

Flat white was great! As a specialty barista point of view, it was only slightly over extracted.it was a busy day for them so I honestly can’t say much but good job! Temperature was there. Interesting flavours such as dark chocolate and malt-like were noted (don’t know which beans they use but would definitely have it at home). Very nice and bold bodied taste aswell.

Overall, amazing experience. Would come again for their pancakes and pastries

Really great food with lots of variety in a great location. Lovely location with a great playground for the kids right outside. Be prepared to wait for a table though, as it is very popular. Well worth the wait though!

This cafe has it all. Amazing coffee, excellent chai, awesome menu and delicious food. Space out the front for the dog and a massive playground and park right in front of their location. We ordered the philly cheesesteak roll and french toast and couldn’t fault either. Look forward to trying other dishes in the next few weeks.

Nice staff, great coffee and food, get the chicken katsu bao buns, love em get them every time we go there.

Arrived around lunch time, and many items which was part of a dish was sold out. They were kind to replace it with other items instead. But food took a long time to arrive and food was no longer hot.

This cafe is so cute where in beautiful park. The boss and staffs is so kind and friendly. Off cause foods are amazing.

Have always loved this place because it's close to a great playground where the kids can go crazy in. And the Asian-themed menu never dissapoints as well. The Bahn Xeo is my current favourite
