The place was wonderful! The city kids had lots of experience and fun in this nice place.

Beautiful sight, farm animals that were hungry, pet animals that were friendly, passionate owners/staff, great experience overall!

Its a great place and glad the owner kept the place and allows visitors to enjoy the farm. The only downside was that the chalet was quoted dated.

Would recommend anyone going to Perth to drop by to stay for two nights!

The perfect family friendly tree change getaway! The staff are so friendly, the grounds were stunning, the views from the cabins were spectacular and there was so much to do for the kids. There are lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby too. We had the best weekend as a family of 4 with a baby and toddler. We will be back!

Awesome place for the kids to connect with the farm animals. 4 nights was not enough and we will be back!

The owner is extremely rude and difficult to deal with. We were unable to go due to Covid and she dealt with it by sending me passive aggressive emails. When she finally agreed to a refund, she then proceeded to ignore me for the next 3 weeks when I emailed to let her know I still hadn't received the refund. Eventually, she called me and accused me of harrassing her (I had sent 2 emails in 3 weeks, neither of which she answered). She finally called the bank and realised the refund had not processed - something that could have easily been sorted weeks ago had she not ignored me instead. We'll definitely be spending our money elsewhere in future.

Spent the weekend here in chalet #2. It was perfect for up to 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty or space and all very clean.

The views from the bedrooms and the front of the cabin where we ate dinner were stunning.

The experiences for kids feeding animals was awesome with so many animals to feed, pat and play with. There is also plenty of other activities to keep kids busy - the lake, trampolines, cubby house, swings, playground, tractor rides.

Would love to come back here again every year.

The most beautiful, serene location with so much for the kids to do (and adults if they please). Animal feeding daily, tractor rides, trampolines, dam swimming, sunset picnics, morning walks. The property is stunning and offers an abundance of choice. Chalets are spacious and comfortable. Green Door Winery and Bush Shack Brewery nearby must be added to the agenda!

“Such a fabulous holiday spot. The tractor ride is fun for all ages, and goes past the beautiful dam which is great to kayak and swim in. The trampolines are the best, and it has a great playground as well as tennis and basketball courts. We come here annually, and are always wanting to stay for a few extra nights! ” (Abigail, age 11)

Lovey family holiday for young kids. Our 2yo had a great time feeding the animals and playing on the trampolines. Would be great for a few families traveling together. Beautiful views from the chalets. Be mindful the roads to the chalets can be a bit steep and slippery. Chalets are clean and comfy with modern renovated kitchens and bathrooms. Beds are comfy. Staff were all really friendly. Bring your own groceries from Bunbury farmers market as the options in Dardanup aren’t good.

This was our first stay at Ferguson Valley Farmstay and I can happily say it won’t be the last! The staff were so friendly, the grounds and gardens were beautiful and the facilities were amazing for kids of all ages. I was also very impressed with the chalets, being clean and tidy and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Of the many highlights of our trip, the one that stands out is the morning farm duties with Farmer Ben. Ben is just wonderful with the children and kept them engaged and entertained every day. Big thanks to Ben and the team for making the kids farm experience one to remember!

We enjoyed our trip at the Ferguson Farmstay very much. As checking it, it was a cute little chalet - not fancy, but clean and tidy, with beautiful view overlooking a dam and farmland. The kitchen is very well equipped! We cooked both nights and found everything you need to make a simple meal. Our little girl loved the farm tours in the morning. You get to feed so many animals, kangaroo, emu, goats, ducks, fish, pig and cows from the tractor. Staff are very friendly and special mention to the lady from the second day - our girl is quite small compared to other kids and was pushed away by some bigger kids from feeding the baby lamb, the lady made sure our girl had a go. Thank you and sorry we didn't get your name! It was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed so much!
Tips: not worth finding food nearby for dinner, better off buy food/prepard meal and eat in the chalet. There is outdoor table with beautiful view too! You can look at most of the animals anytime during the day. There is also playground, trampoline on sites too! Bring a board game for after-dinner

We usually love coming to Ferguson Farmstay but have to admit we were really disappointed this time around. Feeding the animals in the morning is the highlight but we arrived to find out they weren’t doing the horse rides anymore and instead of the cows being fed from the tractor which is usually a whole lot of fun, they were building a dam and were taken to a different part of the farm and was just very underwhelming. We would have liked to have known about these changes as this is the a really big part of the experience of coming here. The kids preferred to jump on the trampoline instead of feeding the animals as it just wasn’t very interactive. The farmhand was lovely but just didn’t interact with the kids.

Other than this the facilities are great and we enjoyed our stay. Just a bit let down.

We had a gorgeous stay at this lovely Farmstay which definitely undersells itself on its website. Beautiful views from every chalet, great activities for the kids, lovely grounds and feeding the cows from the tractor was an absolute hoot. Some chalets are quite small, share a common wall and are two-storeys, others are full size houses, so check before you book. Thanks to the lovely hosts for having us

If you want a rude and unfriendly host please check this place.
There are lots of sign in the room saying, if you do this.you will be charged, if you do that.you will be charged.so you will be more stressed than relaxed.bed are extremely uncomfortable.please be aware those extra beds are tiny bed only for children.so when it says sleep 5 people.its allowed only for 2 adults! Also there is no shampoo.this is the first place i have seen in my life that you need to pay for your bed to be made on arrival.so dont think you are on holidays.you still need to do the chore!

We stayed here recently for 3 nights and have mixed feelings. Whilst the accommodation and activities were good the lack of customer service is a bit of a concern. It is very hard to get hold of someone if there is an issue, then the issue we had, whilst it was fixed came at a bit of a cost to us and on checkout there was not really an apology or any sort of compensation. Whilst I realise things don't always go to plan when the fault is of the premises in other places they would bend over backwards to rectify. Given there was no real apology or any compensation I would say their customer service is lacking.

Whilst I can't really fault the chalets, activities for children and the surrounds I did find their customer service lacking. Difficult to get hold of anyone to report a problem, once we did they did rectify however this was at a cost to us. There was no real apology for the inconvenience or loss or offer of any sort of any sort of compensation. At other places they have bent over backwards when things have gone wrong, the same did not apply here.

Cancellation policy very inflexible. We have a newborn who was rushed to hospital and had a four night stay. We couldn't make the first night as we were in hospital and were advised against travelling for a few days post discharge. Ferguson Farmstay will apply the standard cancellation of the deposit. If your target market is families, then cater to some of the flexibilities of that segment. People will have legitimate reasons to cancel. Applying a penalty is not reasonable nor fair. Although this could at times result in a negative impact at least you could secure repeat clientele. You win some and you lose some, I have no doubt that the number of last minute bookings would at least match those seeking reasonably justified last minute cancellations. Prior to this experience we were repeat customers but we will not be returning here again. Lack compassion to the max.

Fabulous place for the kids! Chalets are beautiful and well equipped. Feeding the animals, pony ride and tractor ride were def the highlights for the little ones. The view is also amazing

If feeding farm animals bring sparkling smiles to your child and feeding cows while they are chasing your tractor ride gives you thrills, Ferguson Farmstay is the place for you. The eye-pleasing landscape and positions of the self-contained chalets plus the heavenly sceneries of Ferguson Valley leave not much else to ask from a relaxing holiday. Kudos to Rosa Madigan and all the lovely staff who are running it.
