Fair go finance are a wonderfull friendly team who are always helpful, they go to great lengths to help you if you get into difficulty due to ilness or any reason would highly recommend them to anyone.

In my case I applied for a $5000 loan and was approved. The money was in my bank in less than 30 minutes. I would have to say this is the fastest money I've ever got for this amount considering that a year ago my bank credit card ($6000) I had to wait 3 weeks from application to receiving the card.

Really good service from application to finilasing loan. Also very transparent wioth statment access and payments etc unlike some other lenders, you can see exaclty where you are with each repayment.

Fair Go? More like Don't Care!
Waited 2 days to get an outcome and was declined for no apparent reason.
1. It was a top up funds to an existing credit line and was not requesting for increase in credit line
2. As a loyal customer who maintains absolutely 100% perfect repayment history (as in not a single one missed)
3. Repayments are exactly the same and the fact that I have never missed a payment for the exact amount of repayment.

I don't see the logic behind the 3 above.

The customer service is sub-par but more importantly the assessors needs to be re-educated into the whole concept of risk, affordable & responsible lending, loyalty rewards.

But I suppose logically as an assessor declining application is less work because it' less paperwork to process at the end of the day.as harsh as this seems but I wouldn't put this past them.

I'd love to be proven wrong and welcome someone to contact me and explain.

I have been through fair go a few times never had any issues until recently, I was told it'll take upto 10 days to sort out an application since I had to submit statements manually which I understood but it went over that as much as almost a month. I did call and the usual response was "because it's manual it takes longer" which I understood but it went beyond that to the point on week 4 x2 assessors were looking into it the communication was as tho no one cared except for one person but still overall 10 days isn't almost a month for a loan assessment outcome

I have now had several loans with FGF and on every occasion I have been treated respectfully and in a very efficient manner
Helpful and considerate, I could not recommend them high enough

Unreal service by everyone I spoke to. Very quick approval. 100% will recommend to others. If you are reading this review, go ahead and apply. You wont regret it.

Had to wait 2 months due to technical issues with the CRB because of tech issues with my credit file being blocked, which was originally declined so it was a 30 day wait.

Then had to wait a further 22 days because of the Optus data breach issues which required me to lock down my CRF to prevent any issues with the data leak.

After applying and having constant comms with alex who was super understanding and helpful, I was able to get my loan with Fair Go to pay off my Debts and finally begin my journey to being permentally debt free.

I'm so great full for this finance for your help when I need because I applied too many finance for there but they declined my application until I applied with FAIR GO FINANCE and that was my last hope, I was so desperate because of family wedding. And then I prayed that my application will get approved and it did and my advice to people who applied is to make sure you pay it back so I'm happy that I've paid back my huge loan thank you so so much FAIR GO FINANCE for your help and yes I will definitely come back if I need it cheers

Application may be simple but be ready to wait for a response. Wouldn't count it as quick, last time I got a response from my bank within a couple business days but so far all I got is a message to say we will get to your application soon. Only went with these options as it says that they give a outcome quick but that isn't really the case.

Hopefully they can redeem themselves so can update the review
