F5 Coffee and Kitchen

Needed to find somewhere to eat on the way to the airport and stumbled across F5. What a find! The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection, their milkshake was the best I've ever drank. Really great food with free parking, good space to unwind.

Found this cafe while driving nearby and decided to give it a go for brunch. The staff were all nice and welcoming as soon as we went inside. Coffee was pretty good and loved the menu with an Asian twist!

Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning and I found it a little underwhelming.
It was quite busy when we arrived and the 3 staff were kept busy taking orders both for food and takeaway coffee.
I chose scrambled eggs and bacon on toast and my wife had the strawberry pannacotta granola.
I also ordered a banana smoothie.
My scrambled eggs were ok sitting on top of a couple of slices of toast which was more like soggy bread, hardly toasted at all, the bacon was all in small pieces.
My wife’s granola came served on a plate rather than in a bowl, she asked for a bowl to put it in…the yoghurt that it came with was quite small and hardly covered the granola.
My smoothie lacked flavour and I could only just taste the banana.
I’d like to think they were having an off day due to the busy trade as the food lacked presentation and prepared without any love.
The bill came to $46.

Great little cage. Always enjoyed the food and experience. I love their Nadi Goreng no matter what time.

Amazing coffee and food. Will travel 30 minutes to go there! Burgers are delicious too! Love how they display local art.

Lovely little cafe that you wouldn't expect in the suburbs. It feels like it should be near the beach. It has a lovely atmosphere and the food was generous and delicious

Food was delicious. We had 2 breakfast meals which were very tasty and good portion sizes. Two iced drinks which were larger that normal. It was very noisy inside so we ate outside which was nice.

Nice coffee, but the big breakfast was less than average. Charcoal bacon, big chunks of undercooked roast potato which was described as F5 chips on the menu, barely warm chorizo, along with ‘help yourself’ cutlery in big baskets. We’re visiting Perth and came here because of the great reviews, clearly they have a different cook or staff these days or standards have dropped.

F5 has been our local go to since it opened years ago and we’ve never had a problem ordering bacon and cream cheese bagels, a standard very easy thing to make. Tried to order some today and the kitchen refused to make them and I was told to only pick something off the menu. It was for someone with an egg allergy but kitchen still refused. I’m pretty disappointed. We’ve been looking past a lot of the niggles that have come up over the past couple years but I think this is the last straw sadly.

Small Cafe so it can be noisy. The coffee was weak, and almost tasteless. Won't be going again.

Waited 16 minutes before asking when our 2 cabinet sandwiches we ordered would be ready for takeaway, only people in the cafe

Have been 3 times. Extremely inconsistent. Always different staff. Staff coughed into her hand while preparing bagels behind counter.
Had no vegan butter for my fruit toast order. Offered cream cheese instead. No apologies whatsoever and I had to request a refund. Will never bother coming back again.

I always knew that area isn't safety place, my friend n I came for cuppa. While I ordered, one stranger creepy came in n trying for something, wasn't feel comfortable with our plan sitting outside as original, change to sit inside for the safety n the restaurant cafe watch him to keep away for the customers to feel safety. I appreciate them but I put the star 2 for isn't safety n didn't feel pleasure to have a nice cake options.
