Terrible service. They make so difficult to do buy your prescription lenses. No helpful, looks like they want you to go to another shop that will get it done. I do not recommend if you are looking for a new optometrist.
Receptionist is great.

Closed when it's not a public holiday, unimpressed. My glasses needed a repair making them unusable for the entire time. I found an optometrist that was open on the non-public holiday, one that cared about customer's needs. They repaired my glasses for which I was very grateful. This optometrist will be getting my business from now on.
Broadcasting you're closed when everything else is open, isn't helpful.

Our family have been coming here for years - Darrell and Michelle are both excellent. Michelle is especially fantastic with kids and teenagers - she has a lovely manner - both my teens enjoy going in for reviews with her. Thanks!

Quick to charge my dad $189 from NDIS plan prior to him even attending appointment. Now we have to wait for refund.

Amazing service, took my 10 year old son and Rob was just really patient and explained everything in detail. My son felt at ease with all the testing as Rob was gentle and spoke to him throughout. I highly recommend Eyes on Oxford, they are very professional and the service is outstanding.

Very professional and friendly service.
Michelle in particular has the patience of a Saint!
She has been been so wonderful with my youngest who can be a little testing at times.
I can’t praise Michelle enough!
Thank you!

Everytime we have been to Eyes On Oxford, my family and I have received exceptional care. The Optometrists along with their frame and lens experts give us personalised care every time. We recommend all of our family and friends to choose the Eyes On Oxford team to cater to their vision needs.

Well, two years ago my 16yo son was prescribed and sold multifocal lenses (+$270 just for that) and now the local Specsavers Optometrist tells him (at 18yo) he barely needs glasses if at all, maybe it’s service so good that it’s healed his sight or maybe we got oversold stuff, I’d go for the latter.

After having experienced some difficulty as per my review below, the owner personally called me to ask me to recount my experience of which I was happy to do. The owner could not have been more gracious, apologetic and understanding. I feel that they have made every effort to turn a negative into a positive. And the owner was grateful for the opportunity to provide some focussed staff training based on a real-world experience. We have since rebooked our appointments and are looking forward to continuing our long term relationship with Eyes on Oxford.

I called Eyes on Oxford last week to make an appointment for my husband and I. The phone rang out so after 15 minutes I tried again and it rang out again. We were out and about in the area quite close so decided to call in half expecting the reception area to be full of school children given it was school holidays so we braced ourselves. On entering the reception it was completely empty of patients, with two staff people sitting at the desk. I was quite astonished. Nevertheless I requested to have new lenses in one of my pairs of glasses. Having had an eye examination May last year I asked for the same prescription only to be told that the prescription I got then was incomplete and never finished off? No one had notified me to come back to have the prescription completed. I was then told that the person who did the eye test often had a habit of not finishing off prescriptions which was rather horrifying to hear. It was suggested as it was 'nearly time' to have another examination to just go ahead and do it again but that I would have to pay again for the examination. I questioned this, as if the last examination was never completed (with still eight months remaining before a review was due) then surely there could be some compromise as to the cost? The receptionist said she would have to consult the owner and get back to me. I have waited a whole week and there has been no return of phone call and no follow up! To be honest if my last eye examination was not completey finished off and I was not notified, two phone calls ringing out and no follow up about my justified query then it's time to find another Optometrist. We waited a whole week for a positive outcome. Yesterday we cancelled both our bookings. Very disappointing service. We were long term clients at this business which used to be a great practice under the previous owner but now things seem to have deteriorated significantly.

I'm not renown for writing reviews however I felt the need to say I have been to a number of different optometrist specialists in the past and recently went to Eyes on Oxford for an eye check up and new prescription glasses. I cannot express enough how professional, friendly and comprehensive I found their service to be. If anyone is requiring an optometrist then these are the people you should see.

03 July - First eye exam. Charged $120 - $18 back from Medicare.
09 July - Second eye exam - first inconclusive and optom admitted to me he was out of his depth on the first exam (complicated script - prism around 11 diopters). Medicare charged for this exam.
23 July - glasses x2 pick up. I knew the script was wrong immediately (I have had prism in glasses for 30+ years) but I gave it a go.
In the interim, a short time later I asked for another opinion in desperation. Specsavers found a competely different script was required and I ordered from that and have subsequently received glasses x2 from them and they workwonderfully.
31 July - email sent notifying Eyes on Oxford that glasses x2 from them do not work.
08 August - at their request, another eye exam with Amman who concurred with the Specsavers script. Medicare charged again. Glasses x2 to be remade then sent to me, because this was visit #4 from Mandurah to Leederville, to no avail.

22 - August - A further 2 weeks+ has elapsed since last exam (the 3rd). 10am today I phoned asking about glasses x2 that were being remade to Specsavers script. Denis told me they were in store, being checked and he will confirm their postage later on today.
22 August - noon today. Denis phoned and said one pair needs to be remade.

Time elapsed over 7 weeks from initial exam and still no glasses x2 from Eyes on Oxford that work.

As per advice from WA Consumer Affairs - Eyes on Oxford were given the opportunity to address the fault (initially the script) in a timely manner before I requested a refund. After 7+ weeks - refund now required.

Denis, when I told him I wanted a refund, told me he would raise this with Hannah (Practice Manager). I asked him to get her to phone me before the end of the day. I also emailed Hannah and much of the info posted above here is copied and pasted from that email.
No call received from Hannah today (now Thursday at 1850 hours).

So, read the above and note it is not truly a review (as in an opinion), just a statement of facts in chronological order. Refund -? Who knows if that will eventuate. If not, I will be filing a claim with the Small Claims Tribunal (although $1,140.00 does not seem all that small to me! And that was after the HBF contribution!).

A superb service overall. Steve was thorough and informative in his assessment; receptionists were kind and helpful; new lenses on glasses have made a world of difference to my reading experience.

Liz is absolutely fantastic. After years of my daughter struggling to read. Liz diagnosed her with eye focusing and teaming problems. Been to other optometrist they missed this. I was thrilled to notice big changes in her ability to read. Which in turn gave her back confidence in reading. My son is also seeing for a turned eye and short sightnesses. No more brusies and bumps on his forehead, improved balance and fine motor skills. I highly recommend Liz and her team at Eyes on Oxford. The gift of sight is precious. Thank you:)

The professional, friendly and more than helpful team at Eyes on Oxford make every visit a pleasure. Nothing is too difficult and the range of products & services provided (for both for Adults & Kids) is exceptional. I would highly recommend visiting when next in the need for excellent optometry services.

Terrible customer service. Told me they could provide a product but I need to be tested by their optometrist, so I paid for this and took time off work. They then informed me that they could not provide the product and that it was a huge waste of time, and didn't apologize. I did not receive a refund.
