Exmouth YHA reviews
9 YHA hostels are decadent. Kitchen not equipped or functional, lounge room is not bad. Our room was close to the bars and other restaurants and you could hear their music way to loud, making impossible to sleep. Check out is at 9: 30! And the kitchen is closed from 8am to 9: 30. So i guess they’re just expecting you to not sleep at all. Pool is the only decent thing. The rooms are… Well like any other YHA.
So to sum up, if you’re in the need for one night still ok, but do not consider staying.
Good location in Exmouth close to shops and iga but that’s where the pros end. Music is always loud and guests make endless noise all night without consequence. Rooms have roaches and kitchen is dirty, expensive for what it is.
Rooms were relatively clean and it's just off the main street in town with cafes etc.
However, the communal areas smelled of urine and beer, the restaurant food wasn't good (the pizzas and burger had a weird cheese on it) and they played music until 1am, which we expected, but then from 2-4am people were having a party in the bar area and it was incredibly loud so we couldn't sleep, even with earplugs in. The next night there was no party, luckily.
But Exmouth isn't a destination, you just go there for the whaleshark tour then head to Coral Bay, which is much nicer. Stay here only out of necessity.
Backpackers. Appalling signage but half decent hostel. Communal room looked pretty comfy. Absolute nutter in the room next door caused a bit of a scene. Not sure what the 9.30 checkout was all about
The location is good, but here the party is noise and the toilet and shower in the rooms inside, it is crowded and not convenient and wifi signal is very poor.
Wasn’t very happy place to live. We live there coz all other places are fully booked, surprised all other motel suggest to ask potshot (yha) to have vancacy or not, access is too far from car & house we are in, the guy working in there write our rego down dunno why. Aircondition are good, it make feel better in hot humid weather, recepition are ok, cleaner are very very friendly.suggest people come to exmouth booking early especially between April to September.
Accomodation is nuce, but to pay for every minute of WiFi, and then not even having WiFi in your room.its a BACKPACKER and YOUTH hostel, wich means that people who come here, are mostly not the richest people, and, above that, are planning to travel further. Wich means they need to plan their further trip, book hostels and research about busconnections, what they need internet for.
So I'm sorry, the accomodation is really clean and nice, but its simply rude to let the guests pay for WiFi!
If you come to Exmouth, there are better places to stay at, for nearly the same price, and free WiFi (actually, I would have even saved money in a more expensive hotel, if I didnt had to pay for internet)!
Free WiFi for 2H (not able to access when in room anyway)
WiFi one day $25
Literally like a motel
No hairdryer
Check out time 9: 30
