Exchange Hotel - Paddy's Restaurant and the Wild West Saloon / Paddys Eat & Drink reviews
71Service was not great. Food was not particularly great quality. I ordered porterhouse steak and it was full of fat and gristle (really bad cut of meat) but covered in sauce to disguise cheap meat. Pricey for what you get.
Excellent bar and food service. Staff very friendly and efficient. Even at a busy time order placed and 15 minutes later delivered to table.
Beef in Guinness Pie was delicious with plentyof beef!
Guinness $12 a pint.cheaper than a lot of Perth pubs.
Gorgeous and clean restaurant. Yummy food. The chicken schnitzel was moist and fresh and massive!
Got the beef and guineas pie and lamb cutlets. Both were delicious. The red wine jus with the lamb cutlets was amazing.
The beef and guineas pie was great soakage for the rest of the night.
Good food and service and reasonable prices
Paddys is one of my faviurite restaurant, in town fresh food, stake, fish, pork, prawn, chips, salad, drinks any flavour, thats why i love Paddys,
The hotel is stunning. The environment and atmosphere is wonderful. There were people of all ages at this hotel.
The meals were delicious and worth the money.
Staff members were professional and also friendly.
Well worth a visit when visiting Kalgoorlie.
Great atmosphere at the bar. Skimpies were friendly and earnt their money. Never stopping. We will recommend to friends
Great food but pricy compared to Perth but that’s the “Kalgoorlie Tax “added to the price. Music in the restaurant so loud you could not have a conversation. Bar Staff handled lemon slice and straw in our drinks without gloves or tongs so health is a concern with drinks. Wait staff are also bar staff so not sure if food in the kitchen is handled in the same way as our drinks were. Would still go back again as huge lack of restaurants in Kalgoorlie, plenty of pub meals though which is what Kalgoorlie is known for
My husband and I enjoyed a magnificent dinner tonight. The staff were friendly and attentive and our meals came out without delay. The serves were very generous and were faultless - taste was superb.
I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re passing through.hint.arrive hungry!

Great food good service the place to eat in Kalgoorlie
One of the better places to eat in kalgoorlie. The entree menu is my favourite. Fish tacos and bao buns go down a treat. Meals were out quickly and staff were hospitable.
Decent tap range that will suit most, including a few solid crafties. The bao buns were great, and the pork belly cooked right, yet they were on smaller side. If your in Kal looking for a feed and bev, I definitely would recommend.
Friendly staffs, family friendly, good vibes and big potion of food! Hubby loved their cider, said it taste just like pub in Ireland. Kids meal cheese burger is normal adult size potion, maybe consider order one to share. I’m sorry I don’t enjoy Vietnamese rice paper rolls.
Was unsure when we first came in the door if we needed to wait and be seated or just grab a table. (the later was correct we found when we went to the bar and was given the run down). Like a regular pub dining area. Ordered our meals and got a number bought our drinks at the bar and sat down.
Was quite busy, but still got our meals in a reasonable time. Steak, salmon, chicken parmigiana and chicken nuggets were tasty and ok quantity for the steak and salmon and great quantity for the chicken for the price. Great quantity quality of sides of chips (I don't understand any place that skimps on any form of potato as a side!)
Anyway an enjoyable meal, particularly given how busy it was.
Nice family restaurant. Food was great, good potions & service. Nice daily specials. Get there early as the place gets packed.
I had low expectations as food in Kalgoorlie had been quite average so far but this place BLEW me away. The fish tacos and other dishes were so well cooked that it would put some pubs in Perth to shame. A+
I almost never write 1 star reviews but I am extremely disappointed! We paid $72 for 2 meals I got the guiness pie and hubby got the 250g porterhouse steak! The most tasty part of the entire meal was the soggy chips and I'm literally not joking! My little sister honestly makes a better guiness pie it's like there was no effort put into to make it taste nice! The mash potato was.well packet dehydrated potato has more flavour. I am extremely disappointed i didn't expect such flavourless food for $72!
My family and I haven't been to Paddys in about 3yrs, I must say the food has definetly improved alot, We were all very satisfied with our meals, and the wait staff were very nice too. Thank you
One of Kal's better eating establishments. Good service that doesn't take too long.they took the carpet out a couple of years ago and put tiles in which I erckon was a bit of a backward step as it increased noise levels, but still, nice place to eat and have a drink. Goes through to the Exchange Hotel.
Great relaxed atmosphere, extensive food and drinks menus.
Visited for lunch today as part of a group of nine.
All meals arrived quickly and all looked great, my fish tacos in particular were great.
Good portion sizes and everyone was happy with their meals.
Overall great lunch and good prices, highly recommended
