I made an appointment for a single earlobe piercing at essential beauty Joondalup, and I have to say I was quite disappointed with the experience. The staff initially misinformed me about the type of piercing, claiming it was cartilage when it was actually ear lobe. This made me question their knowledge and expertise. When I pointed out their mistake, they responded with attitude and even rolled their eyes. They wanted to charge $150 for this. It's really disheartening when you encounter such unprofessional behavior. I would advise others to be cautious when considering this place for their piercing needs.

Took my daughter to have her first ear piercing. Very professional and comforting for my daughter (and Dad) at a reasonable price.

My five year old had her ears pierced and the service was excellent.
Very professional making sure I was her guardian and checking my driver's licence and Medicare card.
The ladies were so fast and efficient doing both ears at once.
The experience was made special by giving her a certificate and a little bear to keep.
She also got to choose a lollipop.

Made a booking here for a piercing, but had to cancel it as the piercer (lady with black hair) was so unfriendly and rude to both customers and staff. She presented with an attitude - making myself and my friend feel super unwelcome. Lady with blonde hair was super nice and very understanding of us having to cancel the booking (:

I arrived at the store and someone directed me to a room, but the woman who was going to do my wax continued at the reception talking to someone and left me waiting in the room. I put on my clothes and left.

I’ve had more than 5 piercing sessions in the past year 1/2. And I’m a nervous client, but my god are all the staff lovely. They are willing to communicate issues and the process and describe specific tools. My nervous talking habits of calming myself during the procedures the ladies are more than happy to go along. Louise of all is the sweetest and talkative person and she makes the process feel like 5 minutes and laughs all the time. The salon it’s self is a very bright and comfortable area with workers that want you to feel at ease as much as possible

Only go when I can't get into my regular. The services are pricey and they are always trying to sell you more, instead of letting you relax. The last few times, we have had unfriendly staff.

I went here and got my nose and belly pierced, and would not recommend. I had nothing but issues with the piercing and found that both were done incorrectly, it was a joke at how much pain I have had to go through and now having to get both piercing redone else where and loosing my money I would never ever go back here again. My belly button alone is infected and too much skin was pierced and now I have a massive scare where I should of had a gorgeous piercing. I'm supper not happy at all I highly highly do not recommend. The staff were very flat and not very friendly. The piercing was done quickly but I wouldn’t recommend going here, it’s very overpriced. You will have a better experience at another place. Save your money!

Had my daughters ears pierced here a few years back friendly staff whole experience was traumatic for my girl but had few issues with the backing on 1 earring as it didn't attach an was painful to get it on after the initial piercing.

Such RUDE customer service! I work in the centre & have been there a few times now & just the other day the same short blonde girl rolls her eyes & clearly hates her job, her additude is absolutely terrible everytime I have been there, will never step foot in there again!
Will now take my money to Ella Bache where they are happy to see you & actually want to help you

Had the most disgusting customer service at this place. Stuff is rude and changed the story from what was discussed over the phone. Got helix piercing done. Piercing came out within first 8 weeks. The lady said it shouldn't happen. Had to pierce it again. Got a lump behind my ear. Was in agony. The same piercing came out again not even 6 months later. Spoke over the phone. Was told to come in and they will redo it for free. Drove there 40 mins just to be spoken like rubbish from one of the stuff members and was told I have to pay again. The exact phrase was "it is not that expensive ". Really? Well it is expensive for some people. Gave me a rude smurk on my way out. Will never go back and will tell all my friends to stay from this rude business. Wish I didn't spend a dollar there.

1. A beautiful soul of a lady did my 12year old girls underarm wax. She made my daughter feel at ease. A few underarm hair was still visible after the wax but nothing serious. We really enjoyed the experience 20-01-2023. Wish I caught her name <3

2. I had another encounter with a different lady working at this shop on the 24-01-2023. OMW she was rude as hell! Because of this disgusting service I will never go back. I just wish I caught your name. Better check yourself girl!

My experience was overall decent, but not great.

The shop looked clean and the staff were somewhat friendly which was good.

I got my second lobe piercing on both sides and the first thing I wasn’t too impressed with was that they used the piercing gun rather than a needle. The woman who did it (I forget her name) gave me no aftercare instructions at all and rather sent me on my way after spending about 2 minutes piercing my ears (though to her credit they did come out nice despite the quick time.)

I probably won’t be returning for future piercings but the experience was alright, I suppose.

Went and got a second piercing yesterday and felt so cared for by the staff members (and it was busy too), it was completely painless and I am in love with my piercing

Just a horrific experience. I went for a full face wax and they burnt my skin. Please be advised. They offered me $27.90 back on my 142.80 appointment.

Had to get my 5year old ears RE done and the lady was exceptional. Super fussy, calm and patient with her. Extremely impressed! Great team
