This place does excellent food, pricing is just okay, the service both over the phone and in restaurant could be improved.particularly when picking up orders, seems quite disorganised.
Otherwise, one of the best local indian restaurants.

Your pre-made chicken madras purchased from Kinross IGA was criminal! Two tiny chunks of chicken in the entire thing and I had to fish out 8 bay leaves, There were more bay leaves than chicken! The sauce was good, shame about the blatant penny pinching.

The Buffet is $ 25 but the owner charged $30 per person. He make a trap before I'm paying money. He acts very friendly. When you are going to dine in ask buffet price first. When you are paying before be careful. He makes a trap for you.

Extremely rude. Called to ask where the order was as it said delivered on app but there was nothing there. Didn't even get asked for a name or order number. Got cut off before l could even say why l was calling. Got told that it was going to be another 10 minutes which was impressive as l never had a chance to say why l was calling or who l was. Ordered at about 7pm finally got it around 8.30 pm

Took an forever to get food. Food is just sugary couldn’t enjoy it. Never eating from here

We ordered a takeaway last week. They were flat out busy, so the boss dropped it off when he finished. There was a small mistake with the amount of naan breads, he apologised and personally dropped off the exact same meal the next night at no charge! Amazing service and the korma was the closest to a UK korma I’ve had since I’ve been here. Highly recommend!

Popped in tonight as haven’t been in a long time for the buffet night
Was Pleasantly surprised, food was flavoursome and varied
6 main meat choices incl Goat & Vegetarian options, starters & desert
Had a taste of them all, liked them all
Decor is a little tired but always receive a warm welcome which is nice
We won’t leave it so long next time

Don't order from this place via menulog. The restaurant was unable to deliver my order as they had no drivers, but wouldn't refund my order. The chef ended up delivering my food at 10pm, 1hour after the place had closed, over 2hrs since I placed the order. As expected the food was incredibly cold.

Popped in for dinner on Sunday.
On first impression, the decor is a little tired, but the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.
The food was amazing!
Started with complimentary popadoms with a delicious slightly spicy mint yoghurt.
We shared the mixed starter, which came with the most deeply marinaded, juicy chicken tikka I've ever had and crisp onion bhajis.
The main curries had thick, rich sauces and the beef was absolutely sensational!
The waiter was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The chef (possibly the owner?) Came out to check everything was ok and give us containers to pack up our leftovers to take home.
All in all, a fantastic dinner experience and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

The food was luke warm and the chicken was still raw in some pieces. Won't order from here again.

Local India restaurant cant get any orders right. Order fish curry and get everything from veggie, beef to prawn meals instead. When you call to order they have no idea what you are talking about and has to be handed to someone else instead.

Wont bother going to or ordering again after so many mistakes.

The best Indian I have had in ages! The chef is lovely and everyone is very welcoming. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Amazing food and wine! We had the Korma, rogan Josh, Dahl and tikka.

We went on buffet night, and unfortunately didn’t get very far. All of the plates that were stacked by the buffet were dirty. Greasy plates with fingerprints on and specks of food on the bottom. We told the lady about 3 times and she wiped them once with a questionably clean cloth. And then got us some other plates that still weren’t clean. Very disappointing.

Many times I have ordered. Used to be a favourite now just disappointing. Orders always missing items or with wrong meals or breads. Calling to complain does nothing to resolve problems. Lentil dish was undercooked, and this time my aloo paratha was not that. No potato stuffing besides paneer and only a tablespoon at that across the whole naan, so not enough to assume it was even a cheese naan. Meals will also change every time you order, no consistency in that kitchen at all.

Waited over an hr for 2 dishes, and they were still wrong. Such a shame, because I used to highly rate this restaurant

By far the best "scottish/British " like Indian since leaving the UK! The portions & quality of the meats are 5 +. Would go ANYWHERE else

The food i just received was disgusting and I will never order again.
The curry had no spice at all. The chips were hard and the popadoms were so soggy they were inedible.
Definatley would not reccomend

I believe this Indian restauranr take away has been here for quite some time and yet we were oblivious to it.

This is the second time we have had a banquet takeaway from here and both times they have been fantastic.

We do have our very favourite Indian restaurant in the Northern Suburbs, but let me say, this is a very very very close second.
