Esperance SUPA IGA reviews
21Check your receipt. Prices they charge are not always those listed on the shelf. Also, beware of the apples, mine had been frozen and were just a pulp inside.
Nice IGA. Unlike Woolworths, you can find what you want pretty easily around the place. Staff are super friendly. 5/5 would recommend to go shopping.
I was visiting Esperance and went to do my shopping at this store.
Lola a very young lady was lovely and friendly.
I hopethis message gets to her manager.
It’s nice to see this young generation working and very keen to delivery a great service.
Thanks Lola you are a star.
Overpriced like most IGAs and like stepping back into 1970. At least they are open Sundays for essentials unlike Woolworths.
Nice an leaceful shoping doesnt lack though they dont have convieniant frzen food section any more: (
Small family business. Nothing too hard. Always offers to help anyone with their groceries, even unlikely customers offermo queues no fuss. In and out unless you meet up with people you know.
Not the best IGA I have been to, and I am uncertain what qualifies this one as a Super IGA. Midland Super IGA is still the best one ever, perhaps Northbridge as a second. Even Lake Grace is of a higher standard than Esperance. This store has little to recommend it. Average selection of produce, poorly stocked shelves with no obvious attempt made to bring forward items sitting towards the back and therefore giving at least an illusion of plenty. Prices are high, but that's no real surprise. If quality were better, or selection more tempting than price would be of less concern. Service was adequate and hardly to the standard for which Esperance is famous for.
1 it is owned and 0pperated by a local and with a good variety and has12/7opening hours, while not cheap prices are moderate
Can get what you need to restock, nice place to wander or have coffee by the water, park is clean with facilities.
Terrible range, worse fruit and veg, over priced. All stuffed in a cluttered store with to much brickabrack. Stepping into this store feels like travelling back in time and not in the good way.
Seriously, I've been in country stores in country towns with a third the people and they've been better stocked, cheaper, possessed a better range and generally better lay out.
Very poor fruit and veggies well below standard. The shopping trolleys are filthy whe i told the girl at checkout she shrugged her shoulders and smiled
Go somewhere else
The one star is because it won't let you put zero
Large store with all goods layed out and easy to find, the chap who checked us out had a great sense of humour but at the same time efficient on the till.
Parking not very good, alright if you have a small car, big car not easy. Shop it self ok. It's a shop, like any other shop. To buy food
Went here today as everything else was closed.all the dairy items were just sitting in milk trays out in the heat.mouldy raspberries and strawberries were being sold on the shelves and very unorganised store.i did like the fresh orange juice though.
Asked for a particular product. Waited several minutes for staff to find it and felt guilty for holding up the queue at the check out in boxing day so rushed through. Got to camp and realised they gave us the wrong product. Went back next day first thing with unopened product and receipt but they would not refund or exchange and no manager was available to discuss. Shocking.
Unfortunately the shelves are bare, I have been a customer there for over 30 years and never seen it like this
Must have been a bad day. Can't believe the limited range of stock. In small country towns this happens but Esperance isnt small.
The sandwiches from the deli were amazing, made to order with freshly baked bread. Tasted delicious and great value for money.
It's probably better to shop at woolies, as this store has limited selection of meats and deli products.
