Really hope they don't change too much about this park. Just an all round great place to take your dogs.

A hidden gem inside the Riverside Garden and easily been missed. It's so amazing that if you can sit down on one of the chair and listen to the birds. The singing and chatting are just lively.

Loved seeing this area attached to the Swan River. A well treed walk with plenty of various wildfowl to be observed. Easy walking. Plenty of parking.

A friend told me recently about this place. I didn't even know it existed! But I am so glad that I checked it out because it's magnificent. The Wetlands with such a variety of birds preening on branches which are partly submerged, padding ankle- deep through the swampy areas foraging for food or swimming for the pure delight of it.
Then there's the rest of the park which leads to picnic areas, the river and all very well signed. The only disappointment is people with dogs who ignore the rules.
Highly recommended park for all who enjoy and respect nature.

The walk through showed that they've done a lot of work and that the potential is great. Enjoyable.

This place is great. I only wish that the council or rangers would patrol the area and ensure that dog owners respected the rules and kept their dogs on lead in the area where required.

A lovely gem, enjoy the peace and tranquility. There are plenty of dogs owner and dogs running around. Looses a star as there's no toilets here.

Great place to visit and get some excercise. Plenty of parking available and close to the river in case you want to try your hand at some fishing.

I love this place. It's very quite and relaxing. You can see black swans, ducks, pelicans and much much more.

The best place to take doggos in the Perth area, period. Massive grassed areas for the ball chasers, little beach and river for the swimmers, plenty of shade for the sitters. Bbq areas, fenced playground, plenty of poop bins, coffee van, gazebos, paths, jetty. This is our pooches happy place. Been coming since they were pups and never had an issue with other dogs or people. We visit 3-5 times a week, despite the 25 minute drive.

Recent revegetation is attracting wildlife. Nice work for nature lovers. Some interesting information on the City of Bayswater website.

Nice peaceful relaxing walk. And if your lucky you may even get to see the horses racing around the track in the other side.

Fantastic open space, good public facilities; loved by pooches and their owners, daily exercisers, friendly strollers and fresh air fiends.

Such a beautiful walk with the dog. Lots of pelicans on the river and friendly locals who smile as you walk by. We are very lucky to have so much undeveloped land in our suburb.

The bird sanctuary is located within Riverside Gardens. It's a beautiful walk around the santuary; probably takes about 20 minutes if you stick to the surrounding footpath. The broader area of Riverside Gardens is a great area for exercising dogs.and humans!

No where near the amount of wildlife there used to be before it was rejuvenated.
If your lucky you will see a turtle in the canals.
