Ros took the time to explain all the different recycling bins/draws. So helpful. Environment House makes it so easy to recycle everything especially those items the council doesn't recycle.

If you have coffee grounds (Commercial or residential), please bring them in to be compost for community garden. Another recycling project is the old non-electrical household toothbrush and dental floss.

Shop is opened for public on nornings of weekdays. Please check out the website for opening hours of weekend workshop. You can also ring up if you see anything you like but not sure about the stock.

Oh gosh. This is such a nice place in Maylands or Bayswater, anyway, worth to visit. They have a wide range of organic products for beauty and health care and others, a recycling station for plastic lids and other materials.
It is at the entrance of the bird sanctuary, place that you must visit, it is just beautiful, full of native birds, turtles and trees.

Went there on Tuesday and was “served” by a young blond lady that was very rude and did t have any customer service skills - very unfriendly and not willing to help! If you don’t feel like volunteering, don’t do it to pretend you are a better person.

While sorting out all my mixed plastic lids for recycling at the front of the building an older gentleman came out and decided to empty his bag of lids on mine by putting them all together for me to sort. No questions, he just assumed that was ok.
I told him I didn’t work in there, that those were my lids I was recycling. He answered that he worked there and that there were so many volunteers he thought I was one of them. Then to my shock he thanked me and walked back in cause he had to ‘finish his reports’. He didn’t even offer to help me out once it was clear he had made a mistake.
No worries mate, I’ll be sorting your recycle out apparently ‍️
