Empire SPA Retreat

At EV Charters, we regularly transport guests of Empire Retreat to various locations around the southwest wineries, breweries, and sightseeing. We get amazing feedback from our clients about Empire Retreat, by all accounts, a fantastic spot to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

An amazing parents getaway for the weekend. I’ve been wanting to stay here for 20+ years and it did not disappoint. The room was incredible - such beautiful decor and such a great layout. We had the balcony room with outdoor shower and bush view. Bed was super comfy and bath was spacious. Couldn’t hear another guest our entire stay despite plenty of people being at breakfast. Breakfast is an a La carte menu and it’s AMAZING - recommend the chilli eggs. Staff all super down to earth not pretentious friendly and hospitable. 5/5!

We had an incredible 3-night stay at this exceptional accommodation in Margaret River. The small boutique setting with a maximum of 20 guests created a charming ambiance. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully styled, although the step-in bath with a shower curtain may not suit everyone's preference. The daily breakfast was delicious and generous. The onsite spa was a standout, and I highly recommend the Vanessa Megan 90-minute facial. Overall, it was a memorable experience and I highly recommend this place as a base for exploring the area with one you love.

Beautiful accom in the south west. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Great locations, lovely staff and delicious breaky is an extra bonus x

My friend and I had the most fantastic spa treatment we have ever had. The staff were just so professional, the ambience so peaceful and the massage and treatments absolutely heavenly. We have found the Spa that we have been searching for. Can't wait until our next visit.

In my opinion the room was over priced for the amenities provided. We stayed in the Deluxe Balcony Suite and at 450+ a night i wouldn't recommend it. I think Pullmans or Mile end glamping are both nicer.
- The bath water was yellow
- Shower bath combo
- No block out blinds next to the bed so the outdoor lights shine inside at night
- I could hear the neighbours use the bathroom
- There was nothing "deluxe" about the deluxe hamper. It was also overpriced

One positive was the balcony.

Considering the price I was expecting something really fantastic but do not think this is worth the money at all.
We bought the Empire experience two night package in a private villa. The bath is lovely and outdoor shower a nice touch but the rooms are smaller than they make out and the ‘gourmet hamper’ is ridiculous. It is made up of items you can mostly buy from Woolworths with a bread stick wrapped in clingfilm.
The staff at reception were not friendly and the breakfast menu has very limited selection and tiny portions, the continental buffet was an absolute let down, neither of us ate from it either day.
They tried to charge us $50 when the little door number keychain fell off from the key chain which is crazy considering the amount you pay for a room.
The spa was beautiful and the staff there are lovely.
Definitely would not go again.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Empire Retreat in March. The balcony suite was super comfortable and very private, with all the amenities we needed for a great stay. We particularly loved the outdoor shower.

Stunning spa! Beautiful atmosphere and one of the most amazing massages my husband and I have had in a very long time! The staff were so friendly from booking to session, would highly recommend if you’re in the area. Also very reasonably priced for the experience too!

My wife had a massage at the Spa and said it was the best she has had. Very helpful and friendly staff. The grounds were nicely presented and spa house was very inviting. Would definitely book again.

What a beautiful place, but we were charged an extra $1700 on arrival (for someone else’s reservation) which resulted in our account going into negative and our dinner declining. We were forced to sit in our room for a whole day while empire tried to refund the money into our account but due to a public holiday we were left with a negative bank account for 24 hours. We were only offered a 10% discount on our booked spa treatment, safe to say the care they have towards their customers is extremely poor. We were not even offered food for lunch or dinner.

We had an amazing time, so relaxing. The staff are friendly, the breakfasts high quality and the day spa treatments were unforgettable. The rooms luxurious and the bed was so comfy. We highly recommend Empire Retreat to anyone who needs a break and relaxing time.

I was very fortunate to be able to book a last minute spa treatment at Empire. It was everything I needed and more! The staff were so helpful in trying to get me an appointment and my therapist couldn’t have made me feel more relaxed! If you can, get yourself to Empire Spa!

What a gem! Empire Spa Retreat was the most beautiful location for our weekend getaway, I was so happy with their service and property. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast down stairs was dreamy looking out to the property (and great menu selection). Thank you for making it such a great experience. I will definitely be back again - it was that good!

Last week my husband and I had the Relax Together package at the day spa - it was fabulous! Katherine and Kertu are great therapists - very professional and friendly. It was very relaxing and a lovely way to start a holiday. Highly recommended.

The ladies were so lovely! The massage and bath exceeded my expectations it flowed beautifully, and with such an amazing venue it’s impossible to not feel relaxed. The ladies had a beautiful herbal tea brewed for us after the treatment which wasn’t expected at all but so appreciated! We well got our moneys worth! Going back for sure!

The day spa here is incredible, probably one of the best day spa's I've been to. The space is well decorated and elegant and the staff are so lovely! The massage itself was divine. Can't rate this highly enough

Couldn't even book anything because they wouldn't answer the phone called at least 3 or 4 times and didn't answer any of the times.terrible service really disappointed.

Such an incredibly beautiful place! The massage was the BEST massage I have ever had. The scenery is stunning, the hostess was amazing and I loved the breakfast. I highly recommend empire retreat and spa, cannot wait to come back!

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights in the Luxury Villa. A beautiful stay however the only let down for this room is the stand in bath/shower. My partner slipped over and luckily I was standing nearby to catch his fall. There also needs to be a step or hand rail provided for ease of getting in and out, I am 5'4 and struggled to step out of the bath without the assistance of my partner. Aside from that the room was beautiful, the fire place was lovely and a great view of the fields.

The staff were very helpful and polite. There seemed to be a little bit of miscommunication between staff members, we were told breakfast was served from 8am-10am (which is also noted in the info book), we are early risers and went to breaky for 8. On our second morning the lady insisted that it started at 8: 30 (despite being served at 8 the day before by a different lady) apparently in winter the guests upstairs like to sleep in longer and the kitchen is too noisy so they start later. We had to sit there for 30mins until we could order a coffee.

The spa was AMAZING! We had the 90min couples massage and wished we could have booked in for a second but they were fully booked. Just a beautiful experience and hands down the best massage we have ever received.

Overall a really lovely stay, just a couple of things to note but otherwise we would absolutely stay here again. So peaceful!
