We had a great meal tonight with excellent service from Tommy! Drinks were great, food was delicious and vibes were lovely. Will be back again:)

Experience was very disappointing. Tried to book an early table for 5, but restaurant insisted there was no availability (by phone, booking and on standby). So arrived with overseas visitors at 8.15 for 8.30 (earliest availability) only to find that the garden area, where we wanted to sit, was almost empty! We were hustled to make our order, then before the food was even served advised that the kitchen was closing - did we want to order anything else! Of course we did as we had ordered without knowing quantities and preferences - but how could we when we hadn't even tasted anything! Additional dishes were not available, as presumably the chef went home more or less as we arrived! As a result we spent an evening surrounded by staff clearing and sweeping and departed as soon as possible somewhat hungry, but still several hundred dollars poorer. This feedback, as a courtesy, was provided in writing to the manager in the hope that changes could be made to the booking system, and maybe an apology! Not a word so far - so be wary about the integrity of booking a table. The food was good, what we were able to order, but the evening overall was very disappointing!

Can’t fault Emily Taylor’s, the food and service was amazing, friendly wait staff and great atmosphere.

Beautiful family Christmas lunch today. The beef cheeks were particularly good and as always we enjoyed the twice cooked pork belly.
IVAN looked after us all day, a big thank you to him. Everyone there is always very polite and helpful. A lovely day was had by all

Dolphin made my night. I came for a couple beers and ended up staying for dinner. Dumplings were a great recomendación from the waitress.

Had a wonderful experience here the atmosphere and food was delightful it was our first time visiting Emily Taylor, we were greated with a warm friendly welcome on arrival from the lovely host Hanae, the staff were amazing and kind, our waitress Fiona made sure we had everything we needed and comfortable during our experience, I'd highly reccomend the ox tail dumplings, peking duck and the beef cheek as they were the highlight of the evening

My 1st time not sure why I haven't been here before, absolutely the best duck pancakes EVER! Scallop dumplings delic in fact everything was really tasty & cooked perfect.great service.really happy crew working there nothing was to much trouble.right down to split bill I'm giving 4.5 cause there's always room for improvement

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by staff and owner last night. Do not waste your money at this establishment. Massive thumbs down. Wish I could give zero stars!

The service we received was excellent. Perth service standards are low so to have this level of service made our evening superb! The food was tasty and well presented. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I love this restaurant! It was the second time I have been here and the food was very good again, the food also came out ultra quick which was a surprise. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and my favourite dishes would be the beef cheek and the duck. You cant go wrong and my suggestion would be to the get the lunch special with 4 dishes and try as many as you can.

Food was amazing. We went for the 5 dish $104 option. We had fried rice with duck, lobster dumplings, Asian greens, beef cheek & pork belly. Would recommend going here if your in Fremantle

The place is pretty lovely. I like the way they set up the lighting and music. Overall atmosphere is great. Food wise, it's okay. I like the fried squid, but that's about it. The food is been westernised, the dish is well presented, but the majority of the food is mainly steamed from frozen packaging.it isn't authentic Chinese food, hence the ratings. I believe the place is more like a bar, not exactly a restaurant. I would rate 5 for the atmosphere but definitely over rated for the food.

Very delicious asian tapas style with dumplings, a winning combo all round. Chilled atmosphere and great service staff. Drink selection is good and prices are a little average, but worth the taste!

Went for dinner on a Monday evening. The restaurant was busy and vibrant. Comprehensive list of beers, wines and cocktails. Between 6 we shared 2 x $104 (choose 5 meals). We loved everything we got. The stand outs were the spring rolls, beef cheeks and the massaman! The food was delicious and such gpod portions. I'll be back asap

Food is always sensational here, service is a little sloppy and wait staff are a bit "familiar". Can't fault the food.fantastic!

We booked a table last night after dining there last week and being really impressed with the food and service. When we arrived last night, the place was very busy, and when we were seated we were greeted and had our order taken quickly, which was great!
However, after ordering 6 dishes between 4 of us, expecting the food to come out gradually, all 6 dishes were on our table in under 5 minutes of us ordering? ! They all came out so quickly that we questioned how it was possible for everything to be cooked freshly. As all of the dishes were coming so fast, we were asked by one of the servers to split the dishes onto our own plates quickly to make room for more to come.
Our plates after were cleared so quickly as soon as we had finished, no time to consider ordering more or made to feel like we could. 4 of us were in and out in 45 minutes.
The food is good and the service was attentive, but last night we felt that we were rushed out of there so they could either flip the table again or so they could all go home. It would be good if they could serve the dishes steadily so that the experience is enjoyed.

Lovely spot to sit and soak up the sun whilst getting a nice mist of water sprayed over you to keep cool. Servers were welcoming and explained the menu. Beer was nice and cold and food delicious and it came out quickly too.

Great service, friendly staff and delicious food - special mention to the truffle dumplings and lamb ribs!

Ordered the East 8 Holdup cocktail average.
Emily Taylor bar also does 4 dishes for around $75. Favourite by far was the Lobster dumplings
