Elmar's Smallgoods

Good. Sausage and roll were nice even though I got the chilli which wasn't what I asked for. The sausages I bought from inside and cooked up last night were nice enough.
Bad. Sign up in the window said "no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservative. We use natural sea salt". Well. I thought preserving agent 250 was an artificial preservative, one that I specifically wanted to avoid and turns out they put it in everything. As well as 450 and 452, not sure what those are for just yet. Cured meat and fresh had it in. Wont be back. Misleading advertising no matter how good they may taste. But if you don't care about what you eat then it's a great place.

The small goods are supreme and authentic as. The hotdogs are to die for. The service is friendly and fantastic. Thanks for the loveliest feed in the nearby park.

Stopped by to grab some German sausages and have a hotdog for lunch. All very tasty and love that I can get a small takeaway container of sauerkraut. The sausages are really good quality. They also have a very good range of other small goods and condiments.

Great selection of hams and sausages. Freshly baked sausage roll with sauerkraut is really yummy!

Smells so lovely of smoked hams, sausages and a selection of cold cuts. Picked up some mild sauerkraut and found things for dessert. Yum

Hands down the best schnitzel I've ever had, literally everything is home made its crazy, down to the bread, even the Mayo, and its so fresh.

There are a lot of varieties of traditional German bratwurst for options. Hot food is available until 2 PM. But, by then they were mostly sold off. It is better to buy hot food before noon for more options. For large quantities of packaged food, I got to inform them 3 days before pick up. Well, I liked the good hot food here for a quick fix. It's Oktoberfest, cheers! (2021-10)

Best, authentic german sausage, I had so far in Australia! ️ Felt like being home. Furthermore quite a few good baking products! Prices are very good, for what you get. Will definitely come again.

The staff are friendly, rolls crunchy and fresh.all deli meats etc and drinks.fantastic local for me and reasonable prices

The beautiful smell of the shop reminds you of being in Germany. Such an amazing range of products and its often hard to decide what to buy.so much range. And the hot lunches you just have to try. (sausage and sauerkraut.onions on a fresh roll is what I love). If you can't travel to Europe now.you can experience a feel of it here.

Get your authentic German small goods here! Grab a bratwurst and sauerkraut roll for lunch. The sausage rolls are a favourite of mine: they actually have sausage meat in them! Great for lunch, but beware they are often busy in the middle of the day. So, you might be in for a wait.
. And be aware Elmars Highgate is closed on Mondays.

Travelled down from Kalgoorlie to Perth and stopped in here for lunch.that sandwich was worth driving 600kms for. Delicious!

Great produce and lovely, knowledgable staff. Would totally recommend this, and every other, Elmar's store!

Got some emu and kangaroo beeched wood smoked chorizo, delicious. Also large selection of German knackwurst, liverwurst. They also make lunch time rolls.

This place should be heritage listed. Great small goods and cold cuts but their sandwich game is a huge tip. On par if not better than the restore Conti's IMO, but it's not a competition. There's certainly room for more than one great sandwich in this town.

I'm an Elmars fan, their bacon is the best and oh so many quality products to enjoy. Great staff too!

Nice selection of small goods with an emphasis on German and European supplies. Staff are always courteous and friendly and prices are reasonable.

Elmar’s is definitely my favourite place for meats and fantastic service! Great bratwurst, kranski and beersticks.but have you tried their Truffle Leberwurst, their Fränkische Leberwurst, Sauerkraut, Potato salad, Friday roast, Kassler, Smoked venison, Salami selection? Amazing. Furthermore, they have lots of good imported products and even their Swiss Gruyere is one of the best.
