I feel that my English teacher miss reason should be fired because it takes her half of the period to start the class and then take ten more minutes to do the role witch leave us students 20 minutes to do are work for the lesson and be get ten minutes of detention so can the school please fire her and give us a better teacher

We moved our son here in 2018 half way through year 7 from another local secondary college that had just opened, due to a lack of a music program. We have been super impressed with ESC since arriving. Our son managed to settle in really well and this is absolutely tied to the excellent pastoral care he received on arrival. He was so excited to receive an actual postcard in the mail from a staff member, welcoming him and offering support. When we also had a medical issue with a family member which upset our son, the college staff were very responsive when we notified them, even checking on him during the day and contacting us back with updates. This kind of thing makes a school caring in our eyes. The specialist music program has blown us away. It is amazing. The input and passion from teachers is brilliant. We have also been pleased with the academic results and the college should be extremely proud of their latest ATAR rankings.outstanding indeed. We will be sending two more sons to the college in the future and look forward to the schooling journey we have over the next 10 years or so! Thanks to all of the admin, teaching and support staff for the amazing jobs you all do for public education!

I personally go to School here and I have found it a wonderful place to go and love the friendly environment with the teachers, although there are slight miss-haps with students they get resolved quickly

Fantastic school! My daughter has been attending ESC for nearly 4 years. You can tell the teachers and staff really care about our kids and do everything they can to recognise and nurture the potential within. Most of all they listen. The options of both Academic and Vocational paths really help students get on the right path for them and bring out their best. Plus their Music program is Top Notch! Highly recommend!

The school itself is nice, but the children which attend Ellenbrook Secondary College tend to be quite rough and rude.
Some teachers cannot control classrooms meaning the class is taught very little and quite a few teachers become extremely frustrated (which is completely understandable). Some staff tend to be insensitive and use to the excuse 'i feel threatened' to avoid admitting their faults.
As a student who attends this school, i am looking to move and would not recommend attending ESC.

Overall, not a bad school even though I have gotten my ball stolen twice. I wish the school could provide sports equipment so students balls don’t get stolen. The teachers aren’t bad but sometimes they can awful.

Worst school ever! Horrible school. Bad teachers, horrible front office service! Bad staff. Three fights in one day! It’s just bad!

This must be the worst school in WA. Kids at times, are treated in a disgusting manner. My child was given a detention for using a spray deodorant during her lunch break - who punishes a teenager for practising good hygiene? My daughter was told never to come back to school as she wouldn't pass year 11 with her attendance, and no one bothered to call me, while my daughter was devastated over the weekend - I'm glad she's not suicidal, because if she had of been I wouldn't want to be on the end of that coronial enquiry - that was so devastating to her.

When I tracked the principal down and spoke with him, he agreed she could stay until we met to discuss, but then removed her from all her classes anyway without telling us, then when I called the department of education - he made a reason up to suspend her (she asked them to call me - and this was put that down as refusing a teachers instructions). I still have not been informed by the school that she is suspended - but that is a standard - they suspend and fail to inform me. They recently suspended one of my kids for ten days and I still have not been told why.

Teachers have assaulted my child and I have photos of the bruising and witnesses, yet no one can tell me what happened.

There are some great faculty staff there - Liz Walters and Adrian Norton to name a few. They lost Mr Lorrimer and Miss Rogers which were two of their greatest. Their culture of suspensions at the drop of a hat has to change. When I grew up, if I cut class, they'd threaten truancy police and we were forced to go to school - now they suspend over the slightest thing. Kids need to be in school, and their families need to be informed of incidents when they occur.

If you take on the role as an educator, then the role is to help kids to engage - and that involves talking, channelling - this whole school is hell bent on punishing and suspending, when communication and guidance, verbal warnings and other avenues can be used.

There is no possible way, that this school is complying with public sector standards, the code of conduct, or many standards and compliance regulations as set fourth by the Department of Education.

I just got off the phone to my friend who is still enrolled and she was just bashed by a 40 year old man. ON SCHOOL GROUNDS. The teachers did nothing. But if it is two students they would. I am outraged by the school. The teachers were aware and didnt care. DONT SEND YOU CHILD HERE.
