Elizabeth's Bookshops reviews
13I'm currently traveling (with a backpack, from another continent) but I don't care - still bought 3 books! But saw so many more others! Goes to my top favorite bookstores for sure!
Perfect place if you love books. The ambience of this store is immaculate and the range of books available is unbelievable! Definitely coming again.
What a hidden delight. I was actually going next door but I can rarely pass a book shop without going in. This store had an impressive selection of non-fiction books which is my interest. Well sorted and neat I had no problem finding the section I was interested in my only problem was narrowing it down to just one book. If you’re there be sure to check out the cabinet next to the counter it contains some amazing huge old books and they look so nice I considered purchasing one but didn’t. They are amazing! Physical copies of things are no longer popular but books online are seriously missing an entire part of what I enjoy about books. The smell the pages the experience. Love this store. Keep books alive!
This is a hidden gem! There were so many books, and such a wide collection. They even have a nice corner for the kids as well. The books were also on clearance sales. Definitely should come and support the business especially in this e-book kind of era.
I have never been to such a bookstore. But I have to say this experience was thrilling. I managed to find the book I wanted - The Odyssey by Homer which was perfect. I can’t wait to come again to this store. Everything is in pristine condition witch such beautiful bookstore aesthetic
I just walked in about 5 minutes ago and oh my gosh.i had the most friendly, bubbly employee help me find exactly what i was looking for.i left with a big smile on my face!
Great 2nd hand bookshop with a lot of variety. Beware some regulars get annoyed if you squeak too much on the floorboards.
I get at least one book here every week. I read classics and literature mainly, Elizabeth's always has good editions of the classics that are good quality at a good price.
So far I have bought titles by the Bronte sisters, Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, a Dickens book, and several others in the Literature genre.
It also carries a lot of alternative titles on the paranormal, prominent authors and history, leading titles, as well as antiquarian titles that look really interesting.
I haven't tried the innovative "Blind Date with a Book" yet, but once I burn through my TBR I will give it a try.
The nice man working this Sunday was so helpful even gave directions and I love my books, Thank You!
You can find some real hidden treasures in here for affordable prices.its always a very relaxing environment which makes me feel quite welcome to browse and not pressured to make a purchase decision.its always really exciting going in there!
One of the few excellent secondhand bookshops surviving. Wonderfully varied collection of books, friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Let’s keep this lovely bookshop alive
One of the best second hand book shops around! Amazing selection and excellent staff! Worth a look!
Great bookshop for second hand books. The staff are friendly and there is good selection. The shop is well laid out.
