Really fresh and authentic Japanese.
Staff are really friendly.

One of my favourite joints to visit during the week on my lunch break in the CBD

We were just walked passed the shop and decided to went in, I've ordered 5 meals. Totally enjoying them. The taste were simply wonderful. Would love to try other dishes. The restaurant is a bit small if you have a huge crowd. The staffs were friendly and very welcoming. I think prices are reasonable.

Was recommended to try their lunch set as a more budget Japanese meal compared to their dinner menu pricing.
Booking was recommended so we did, and was placed in a quiet corner for 2.
The ambient is classy with a nice decor, and we found the service attentive enough for order, even though it was evident they were a little short staffed during peak period.
It was only a short wait for our lunch set, and the taste is delicious, with the portion size leaving us waiting more.
As with other reviews, it could get quite echoey inside when it got busy, which make conversation a little more strained.
Overall a nice dining experience on a slightly pricey end

I decided to try this restaurant out because it is near the hotel I am staying at. I am surprised by the food quality.

We came here for lunch and will be back for dinner. Sashimi was fresh and beautifully presented, chicken teriyaki was delicious. Excellent and friendly service, which reminded me of being in Japan (accommodating a food allergy). It's a smartly decorated restaurant too

This place is a rip off. Take away extra $1 per item, and will charge you an extra $. 30 for a small carry bag.

The banquet at $65 per person was good value with heaps of dishes, all delicious and more than enough. Food was great and service very good

Food was briliant! I did the edosei tasting experience and got an awesome overview of Japanese cuisine. The food came really fast, and over the 8 courses, I hardly had to wait a minute before the next part was served.

We had dinner in this place which cost us a fortune.unfortunately the worse place we've ever been. The portion of food compare to the price is ridiculous. We ended up going another place for dinner.
You pay 54$ for a small piece of steak.

Booked a table last minute. Had no idea so fancy and beautiful this place is. Everything tasted delicious but the Black Cod fish is something from other world.
Environment was friendly and relaxed.
Definitely will recommend and will go back for more.

Edosei is a great Japanese restaurant with something for everyone. Even if sushi or seafood isn’t your thing there is something for you.

The ambiance is just divine. It’s a perfect mix of comforting and friendly.

The sashimi is average nothing special compared to the other Japanese restaurants, the grilled eel rice called Unadon is well cooked and delicious the sauce make it perfect. The restaurant is busy after 12: 30 the staff were attentive.

The ambience was lovely on entry, but slow to get a greeting and shown to table. Then there was no service for about 25 minutes, at a table with hardly any breeze of the air-conditioning. Perhaps they were understaffed, but the ones there certainly have their blinkers on. When we managed to their attention, they were polite, but unapologetic and quickly rushes off before we have finished making our requests. Omakase sashimi was fresh and Wagyu Sukiyaki was delicious, but that's the end of compliments. The salmon in the sushi roll was not fresh and Edosei special entre was questionable.

Very good Japanese food in CBD.
I had generous amount of fish. They are also fresh. Agedashi tofu and the seafood poke are my favourite.
Very recommended

At the higher end of Japanese cuisine, but you won't be disappointed by service, menu selection or quality of food.

Came for lunch, $20 poke bowl was pretty good, although was very disappointed that at a nice place like this, they charge an extra $2 for wasabi and $3 for pickled ginger.

If you're after a more "traditional" style of Japanese food, this is the restaurant to go to. The sashimi and sushi selections are fresh and delicious. I kept coming back here for the food just to try the different dishes and so far, they are all wonderful.
