Edgewater Medical Centre

I have been a patient at Edgewater from the time Peter Hernaman started there. I came from Victoria to live here and looked around till I found a doctor that I trusted and would not give up till he found the cause of your trouble. I think he surrounded himself with doctors with the same attitude. Will keep going there as long as I'm allowed to drive as it is a fair way from me.

I can't speak highly enough of the team and quality of medical care. I've been a patient at Edgewater Medical for over 30 years and am proud to call them my family doctor. I've worked with Dr. Brendan Croot and Dr. David van der Moezel to address multiple issues over the years and have genuinely appreciated their attention to detail, empathy, and support in providing medical care. Their reception team is also incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!

I saw Dr Patel this afternoon who was very approachable and extremely thorough and understanding. Reception staff are always pleasant and helpful too

The Edgewater Medical Centre is the best, both in the wonderful staff they have and the doctors of course. When I was unable to see my normal doctor I had a telephone consult with another one and she was very helpful. If you can get in with any of the doctors there.good luck. I feel lucky to have them.

I went to my GP's practice to have the latest Pfeizer booster. While there I was asked if I wanted the flu vaccine also. I replied in the affirmative. The nurse was efficient and pleasant. The whole process was streamlined and very quick. Thanks for the great experience!

All staff are amazing. Arriving early for my appointment I sat outside for a while. Soon a staff member came out to see if I was ok and then was even more helpful regarding my appointment.
The nurse I saw regarding my injections was friendly funny and very good at her job. Well done Edgewater medical centre.

Edgewater Medical Centre and Dr Van Der Moezel are simply amazing. Feel totally privileged and blessed by the Team at the Practice.

Took 3 days to get Script - many requests over the phone went unanswered.
Asked for scripts received printed scripts
My pharmacist noticed a mistake on one of the scripts - should have read 120 tablets not 30 - spoke to the Doctor who issued the script who would not correct it until I provided my file from my normal Doctor even though I presented my current health summary detailing my health history over the past 20 plus years as well as my current medication which I have been taking for the last 20 years. Was about to change to this Surgery but will not now and advise others of my issues.

My Husband and I have been going there since the Practice opened in 1986. Our Children (now adults). Went there. Not once can we fault the treatment received. There has been changes in Drs over the years and we would prefer to see our own Dr, but at times not possible, but have always felt in good hands, due to the medical records kept.
The Practice Nurse Karen is great.

I always receive excellent care and attention at the Edgewater Medical Centre. They have taken care of three generations of my family and have never missed a beat.

I object to being asked lots of questions about my reasons for visiting the doctor in order to confirm my appointment. My appointment is private between my doctor and myself and please make a note on my file that I will not be prepared to complete this for any further appointments. Dr David VandeMoezel was amazing as always and my concern is not with him or his treatment but rather with the administration’s unnecessary request for my private information.

Friendly practice, professional staff and doctors. They always run on time, they know their patients which is a testament to their service.

Reception staff are very friendly, supportive and efficient. My Doctor is just Magic. I have been through a lot with him over the last thirty years, from back surgery in my forties to Type 2 Diabetes in my seventies. I would not consider going anywhere else.

I have been going to this practice since 1986. I can not fault any of the doctors or receptionists that has been there over the years. It has been awesome to watch this practice grow over the years. Sad to say goodbye to my doctor who is retiring, he has been absolutely awesome, always is very thorough and is more a friend than my doctor. I look forward to have a long relationship with my new doctor Emily Alfonsi, who is also a great doctor. I can not speak highly enough of this practice.
