Edgewater Fish & Chips

Not sure what all the other reviews are about, but this was some of the worst fish and chips we’ve ever had, both for the fish and the chips. Shame as service was otherwise very good, food is cheap and it looks like a nice ‘hole in the wall’ place.

Amazing, fresh food cooked perfectly. Service prompt with food served in 5-10min.

Excellent fish and chips. Had the "meal for 2" with the fish crumbed. Easily enough for 3 people. 2 big pieces of thick fish, 2 smaller, loads of chips and 2 crab sticks (you have a choice). This fish was excellent, but the chips were even better. You can tell that these guys use fresh oil as the quality is perfect. And at $24.50 (you pay extra to get the fish crumbed but it's worth it) I think that it's really good value. Very happy customer

Could have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the chips. The fish, snapper, was very fresh, tasty and the batter crispy and not oily. Crab sticks also nice as well as the prawns fritters and kiwi hot dog. Unfortunately the chips were not crispy and tasted re heated.

For us the Fish, Calamari, and Chips were great, will definitely be trying the rest of the menu.

Still our family's favourite fish & chips. We order regularly and the food is hot and tasty every time with very friendly service to boot!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Pretty good fish and chips.
We got the meal for 2, really good portion size (probably enough for 3), quality was very good and definitely value for money. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The chips were good but the batter on the fish and potato scallops was not normal compared to other fish and chips I've had.

Ordered the special for 3, great value for the price and was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service, will definitely order from here again:)

A better than average chip shop, fast friendly service and clean store. Value meal packs are well thought out and quite cheap. I did find the fish rather oily, but other sides and chips were pretty good. Give them a 7 out of 10.

Best place for fresh and tasty chips! Get a huge amount for such a low cost! Quick and friendly staff! If you want chips with great taste then definitely go here!

Good food. Great family run business. Several of the staff are noticeably cheerful and friendly. It’s my go-to for chips.

Best Fish and Chips in town. We always get the Seafood Basket for $13 and it's such a decent amount of food for 2 people to share.

Best fish’s chips I have ever had, the fish was moist with light crispy batter, And the homemade spring roll was yummy with friendliest smiling service, I will definitely recommend Edgewater fish and chips, enjoy

In my opinion, the BEST Fish & Chips in Perth. We drive up from Maylands just for this. The Potato scallops are in a league of their own. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and above average portion sizes. Highly recommend Edgewater Fish & Chips.

Just bought shark and chips. All very dry. Keep giving them another chance but each time the food has been pretty awful. Wont be going there again.
