Eco Beach Resort reviews
32We planned to come and check out Eco Beach Resort. When we arrived (133 kms from Broome) the gate was lock. Unable to see the facility, turn the car around and head back to Broome. Totally waste of time and petrol.
Eco Beach Resort is super beautiful. Amazing and super friendly staff.
The location is absolutely breathtaking and with a beach front room, we were able to enjoy this magnificent view every second of our stay.
The cabins though are really close together. And it felt like this place needs some love.
Will defenetly be back.:)
Unfortunately the rooms are not cleaned and therefore the towels are not changed. Only the courtesy and kindness of Alessia were we able to get a change.
One of our favourite places. Beautiful beach with a lot of great walks around it. The rooms are lovely and well thought through. The pool is also great- and in the off season is nice and quiet. Best thing about this place though is the people- Shay and Kev who manage the resort are just fantastic. We can’t wait to come back!
Me and partner has a very relaxing get away in the eco beach resort, we love the facilities as well as the service offer by the staff, we super recommend the sunset plan for couples, it was one of the high lights of the trip.
Plus we got to really disconnected from from the routine. Super recommend it
Great location for immersing yourself with nature, only yourself, the beach and hen beautiful sunsets. There are very nice walks to do to find astonishing rock scenery and a bush walk with great lookouts.
Great staff, accomodation and food. Fishing tour was great. Had the free kyyak sink on myself 400mtrs off shore. Near drowning experience. I did report. Noticed same unseaworthy vessels still there 2 days later. A drowning waiting to happen in shark waters.
This is a really good resort: the accomodation is new is, well maintained and with just about every option. There is a pool (mainly used by kids), a beautiful beach 50 metres in front of the hotel, free beach shelters/hammocks & kayaks as d a very decent restaurant. The resort is as low impact on nature as possible: no rubbish, no broken down equipment and no se of excessive disposables. We thought it well run and clean. A bit over an hour south from Broome.
The sunset tour with Quentin is a must-do! We walked along the coast, discovered a cave, sipped bubbles and enjoyed a platter with some great company, watching the sunset.
We loved our stay at Eco Beach! What an amazing spot to relax in a hammock on the beach. Our highlight was the Broome Billfish Charters. We did the Jack’s Creek Fishing tour and it was excellent. We got to see a range of scenery (beach, creek, mangrove) and the staff were so helpful. I had never fished before and my partner was an experienced fisherman, but the company were able to cater for both of us. Lots of fish were caught and I would definitely recommend booking with them while you are there!
Wonderful place to switch off from the world and just let your body relax.
Fishing, swimming, good food, amazing massages and breathtaking sunsets.
Great place for couples.
Actually 130km from Broom, had to cancel it but cost $230 just for the cancellation fee. Very bad impression.
Eco Beach Resort exceeded our wildest expectations! 90 mins south of Broome this slice of paradise resides with a private beach, pool, villas and eco tents. We got so lucky to snag some last minute accomodation & ended up extending our stay from the original 3 nights to 5 nights because we couldn’t bare to leave! Highly recommend the massage, yoga, sunset tour, degustation & soaking in the serenity! We will be back for sure
These guys are painful to deal with. We have been to 2 weddings here this year and have been let down both times.
If you are thinking of getting married here, find somewhere else. The stress of a wedding day is hard enough let alone being let down on multiple occasions adding to the worry.
The boardwalks around the villas are dangerous, we have fallen through broken boards and seen many more cracked through. They don’t get replaced until they have completely snapped.
Bring your own food, not because the kitchen makes poor meals but because if you want to feed your children outside of the kitchen hours they will have to wait until it opens for lunch or dinner.
The rooms are look clean from a glance, just don’t go moving anything because you will find left over food from the previous guests.
Eco beach is a beautiful spot but there is a lot of work needed to bring this place up to standard especially for the price you pay to stay there.
The vegetarian/vegan main meals were barely entree-sized, and nowhere near substantial enough. The food was delicious, but overpriced; anyone living on a plant-based diet will definitely struggle with the plated portion sizes. Beautiful place and excellent daily cocktail specials during happy hour.
Excellent get away. Just relaxing. We stayed in one of the tents and it was so cosy, clean and spacious. Highly recommended.
We stayed 3 nights and made the mistake oh hiring a car which we never used in the 3 days we were down there due to too much relaxing. For next time we will get the bus.
The food was really tasty. Not the cheapest of course, but tasty.
This place is extremely poor quality for the price, extravagant prices, limited menu.when sars-covid-19 on they still advertised for business, their message when you called still announce there services where open, got there and they were racking up in the office.terrible. I wonder how many others went there and wasted their time.the land that this is established on is not even there’s.
Been here twice in 6 months during the wet season and its been magical both times. Pretty much had the place and beach to ourselves plus the staff are always amazing. If you're looking for a quiet paradise then look no further. Beach view villa and cave walk are essential:)
Okay the resort is beautiful. I went after the tourist season, which was still busy. Got a great deal, for a family room! That is the best time to go, it's more affordable. Massage was Awesome! Was suppose to stay 1 night but did 2.the resturant was o.k. Could of fed me more food.lol.but the cafe n staff, brilliant mob there. I was soo well rested and I had fun. I've been back since my 1st stay.just day trips. Thank you all for your warm welcome. Il be back
Online booking proved difficult for travellers with limited mobile coverage - a phone booking system would alleviate this.
Turning up at 4: 58pm in 42 degrees heat after a long haul from 80 mile beach the great school holidays volunteers at Dales campsite were fantastic and full of smiles.
With zero amenities other than a drop loo Dales did not disappoint for the prepared traveller.
However - The second night at Eco lodge was less than pleasing - we paid for 2 nights and stayed for 1.
Limited knowledge and enthusiasm from young un-knowledgeable staff, 2 showers for the entire camp site (1 opening straight onto the restaurant), over promised and under delivered this destination was a disappointment. We did value the sink to wash up in and the shower - which we was timed.
Should you want a bevi at the restaurant before heading back to cook your evening feed beware of being pestered to order off the over priced menu - aimed at those paying $350 per night to stay in a 4x4 tent with a side ensuite.
The destination being Dales george was phenomenal - stay in Dales george during the heat of the day (take fly nets, water, food, hat, sunnies, sun screen and pluggers or crocs to explore and avoid the heat above ground) then rise for a feed, game of Uno and sound sleep.
