Eaton Tavern

Unimpressed, had the grilled fish and chips it was ok nothing to rave about. The menu was more like a lunch menu than an evening menu and too much of the American influence mostly junk food. The biggest impact 6 tv screens with cricket wrestling and tennis, couldn’t get away from it. Not pleasant.

Dining room was closed. Small sign on door.
Tried the front bar once before, noisy customers turned us off. Would rather wait until refurbished.

Food is alright, i have definitely have better. The service is a bit slow, took about 40 minutes for the first meal to come out but dont really blame them on a Tuesday night.

This is a great place to get your liquor, with Christmas around the corner you can stock up or just for yourself. I'm sure you will find what your looking for. This a place you can sit down & order a great meal, with that special someone or with family or friends. In the bar there is the TAB, play pool, watch the footy on the big screen. A band on Saturday night, so what are you waiting for. Come down check it out, meet new people, have a fun night. New owner's are taking over, not sure what will happen in the future? I'll keep you posted. No karaoke at the moment, maybe in the future, who knows?

We had my father's 70th birthday celebration here today. Functions staff were helpful and accommodating, space great, food great and service great too. I would not hesitate to hold another function here, or to recommend it to others.

Overall Eaton Tavern is a nice place to go eat at. The dining area of the Tavern is lovely and spacious, clean and has friendly staff. The menu is great, a good variety of foods and the food tastes really nice. The only issue I have is with the parking. The parking is awful and I couldn't find a disability parking bay as I am disabled and need easy access to the entrance. I would still recommend Eaton Tavern as a place to go and enjoy a meal.

Went for lunch ordered 2 meals from the menu only to be told that they had run out of ingredients for 1 meal, so ok wife chose another meal, 10 minutes later we were told that they had run out of rice. We left and will not be back.

The food was terrible, friend and I got the grilled fish, tasted like a stale sock that was sitting in the washing machine for 4 days. The salad and chips had more of a flavour to them then that horri fish

Nice clean pub with friendly staff. However Three of us went for dinner. Three of us were disappointed to say the least.

Well presented, plenty of parking.food was all a bit "new age" and didn't stand up to the hype

Bar staff hit n miss one very rude lady thinks it's ok to bully people because her perception of things and that she constitutes every one and that she speaks for everyone spend money there every day to be bullied go to treendale at least the staff are consistent

Service good, food average, ordered paella and the rice was overcooked and the chicken was dry.

People learn the rules while drinking in shops not covered by entertainment venues you do not need to wear a mask while drinking like I was today when asked to leave.

Going to give this place 2 stars for the sports bar side. The restaurant on the other hand was below average. Food was cold when it came out. One lady was quite rude. My child had a children's steak, I wouldn't feed it to my dog. If you can't cook a kids meal you shouldn't be cooking. Whole experience was trash.

They sell food on plates and in bowls and the drinks come in cups and glasses and they ask you for money after and you will pay but it's OK because this is the way of things when you think about it we are all starving to death and each meal just puts off the inevitable so money is the least you can give maybe thanks too they are like hunger surgeons removing your deadly condition in exchange for a few measly dollars we must worship them they are real not like those false idols jesus and Abraham and Zeus and thor and Donald trump and mcgyver

Food very average and nothing to rave about (caramel pork? Oh my god not again please)

Menu is kinda all over the place and has weird speciality foods from different parts of southeast asia. Not sure if theyre any good. And its not what i go to a pub to eat. (Nasi Goreng and a Carlton Dry anyone?)

Service however is an easy 11/10. Pleasant and friendly.

Come for the drinks, leave for the food.

Lovely meal, great sized portions and the waitress Kate is absolutely lovely, our kids just love her too!

All I can say is.lucky Eaton people.this place is alive and the staff are interested in their customers needs.a somewhat pleasant thing to find these days.

Lovely quiet lunch today. Slow cooked lamb shank with mash and vegetables was amazing. Meat just fell off the bone. Definitely will book again soon.
