I went to this practice over 12 years ago, and went back on and off and recently only to realise why I stopped going. If you can get in and the doctors aren't on holidays (again and again and again) - the building is nice aesthetically however -
Receptionist "S" and many of the other receptionists, have zero patience, interrupt when talking, make you feel small and unimportant, like youre a burden that they have to "deal" with. Very very cold nasty people.
I've had to wait over an hour for an in person appointment and my telehealth appointment which i missed work for, only to get told the clinic is closed and they will call back another day. This was not acceptable as I had already missed work, I spoke up and so when the dr FINALLY called (for the 2 mins!), she was dismissive and extremely rude. I was getting updated information on my first pregnancy which is supposed to be a happy time of my life, and they left me feeling fearful and disheartened. They wanted to charge me for the 2 min phone appointment and if i was more meek, I would have paid but I refused. Which makes me worry for the people that are a little more timid in these situations. The reason I went back is because I've found out I'm pregnant - they did not make my experience enjoyable and did not give me any other options than going to an obstetrician and made me scared of pregnancy when it's a natural thing. They come across as this holistic type of centre but they couldn't be more impersonal and unempathetic, more militant than soft. This happens every time I've given this place a chance on and off for 12 years. Never going back. Such a horrible environment causing stress, new mothers, literally anyone - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Booked online where there is no question about the reason for the appointment only to find out at the time that the doctor seeing me isn’t qualified to do a skin check however, still got charged $80 for, well, nothing. Could have bulk billed at least.

I have been attending EFMC for many years. I have found the medical staff and doctors outstanding at all times. I generally see Dr Claridge when he is not available then it's Drs Theobold, Pegram and Guzder all I would highly recommend. Of late I have been seeing Dr Richard Chilton fantastic doctor.

Reception was very helpful and nice to me before seeing the Doctor and after. Would highly recommend.

I had a medical emergency and all the staff was very helpful and concerned. They promptly assisted and then directed me to the appropriate specialist. The doctor also called back later on to check on me which I found very caring.
I'm grateful for what they did for me.

Hard to get an appointment, and seemingly even harder to keep it. 3 times in a row have had appointments cancelled the day before, with no effort of a replacement time or doctor.

I have been attending this practice and seeing Dr Sarah Hawkins for almost 10 years. She and the rest of the staff are amazing, caring and all very hard working.

I like many others have been going to this practise for many years.and my doctor is excellent. I contracted Covid 2 days ago and had to ring to see if I could get the antiviral. I told the receptionist I was so sick. She and I wish I knew who she was it wasn’t a voice I knew so presume she is new.asked to get a Tele call. OMG she said it wouldn’t happen till the afternoon the next day. I said you are joking my husband also has it he rang his doctor and we had it within the hour.said all the doctors were busyall of a sudden she said a doctor will ring me within the hour.the doctor who. Rang Was just lovely and told me to ring her back if I. Had any problems she emailed the prescription straight away. The receptionist who spoke to me was rude and obnoxious.

I’ve been going to this doctor for over a decade and it is disappointing to make this review, but honestly the unprofessionalism and unorganisation of this place is absolutely shocking, countless times i’ve waited over an hour for a 15 minute appointment and every time you approach reception workers you’re met with constantly dismissive and rude attitudes.every time i go to my own doctor now i am left in nothing but a state of rage from having to deal with middle aged children

Horrendous recent interaction with one of the male GPs at this practice. If you’re looking for compassion, empathy & an openess to working alongside the patient… don’t go here. Ego based, bulldozer approach, non existent duty of care.

The ladie on the desk are so rude and unfriendly, they need a job that doesn’t deal with the public.

I've been there this regardless all those bad reviews, and been highly surprised! Dr Kirsten was the only gp I've met in Australia who actually care
Shes been efficient and reassuring.
And she had a lot do deal with me as my case was a bit complex.
She took her time
And went to every details with me. Thank you.

Every time I have visited this practice has been a terrible experience. The receptionist staff are extremely rude, nasty and unhelpful. This last experience, I was treated like an animal for following covid government recommendations when I was already very sick and vulnerable, waiting to see a doctor to seek help. The staff should be ashamed of themselves.

I have been to this clinic to see Dr O'Neill with both my children for various issues over the last 6+ months but we will no longer be returning. Reception staff (one lady in particular) is consistently rude and incompetent. Going by the other reviews this is clearly a common occurrence. There is always a long wait, at my son's last appointment we waited over an hour past our appointment time and there wasn't even an apology for the wait. We were then given a referral for a doctor that is no longer in practice. When my husband called to get a new, correct referral we were told the doctor would call us to organise a new referral. She never did. Months later we still hadn't received a referral, so we called again. My husband pointed out that we'd called previously and the doctor had never called back or provided a correct referral. He was assured by reception that the doctor would call the next day. She didn't. Absolutely useless in every regard.

Updated my review after child who had been attending the practice for 5 years was charged full consultation and NOT bulk billed because it was a new doctor. Check fees before appointment. We have now moved to a new practice.

Saturday.
Fasted for a blood test. Waited for nearly an hour only to be told that I have over fasted by 20 minutes. Can I do it again on Monday

Brilliant experience, the nurse, doctor (Richard C.) and receptionists were all affable and made one feel well looked after.

I don't normally post reviews but I found the service to be far below my expectations. I can understand that mistakes are made sometimes but I was unsatisfied with the way my bungled appointment was handled.

Ive seen about 4 different doctors at the practice, all great but I’m yet to have a pleasant interaction with the reception, they’re alway rude, ignore you when you’re right in front of them and talk to each other while you’re in the middle of a conversation.
