Grey water system worked well, until it developed an electrical issue less than 4 years after installation. Follow up service was poor as outsourced to third party

Nigel at Earth and Water has designed and installed the landscaping and retic systems for our current and previous homes.
When re-financing the valuers have commented that the landscaping has added considerable value to the home, we just think it looks great.
The retic is something special as it allows us to fertilise by putting it in a bucket and opening a couple of valves to allow it to be distributed through the system. Much easier.
We have no hesitation in recommending Earth and Water.

From the first phone call, Nigel and his team have been very professional and very helpful. Nigel takes care to explain everything very clearly. I could see that my garden was struggling to survive but I didn't know why. Nigel suspected high salt levels in the bore water and a high soil PH. This was later confirmed by a Laboratory test. I agreed to Nigel's recommendation to install his Fertigation and Water Conditioning system. The whole process was completed without a hitch and within a month my garden started showing signs of recovery. What I also love is that I can apply fertiliser direct through this system, saving me the time spent spreading fertiliser. The Fertigation system means I'm no longer loosing sleep over my garden and to me that's money well spent.

I wanted plastic lawn because it was easier to manage, but my wife refused. Thank goodness she did. Nigel's team installed drip irrigation six years ago and it has proven to be trouble free and easily maintained (they'll even do that too). It looks great.and no one can see when I irrigate.
Around the same time I had the retic replaced on my rental property's large lawn and garden. It wasn't cheap but it has worked flawlessly since with only one sprinkler replaced due to car traffic damage.

Rang Earth and Water after business hours with a retic leak requiring mains isolation. Given it was after business hours I was hoping for a call back next day, to my surprise the phone diverted to Nigel who not only took my call but provided troubleshooting advice and guidance until he could arrange an onsite visit. Earth and Water were recommended to us when building our home. They have been involved in designing all of our irrigation, rainwater tanks, greywater system and now some green walls as well. We've found them to be friendly, efficient and very persistent when something brand new [and there's a lot with our home that was pretty new technology when it was installed] doesn't work properly. Earth and water Hit a mains water lines whilst working at a property next to our business on the middle of a 34 degree celsius day. Earth and water decided to Call the water corp to turn off the water without letting us know while welding staff could not get a drink and toilets sat stagnant. They continued for their staff to work for the next hours without letting anyone know or speak to any neighbour. After calling the head office to ask for an explanation as to why we weren't told and promised a call back I have not heard anything or had any kind of apology.

Earth & Water installed underground rain water tanks in my driveway, a grey water system & a full drip irrigation system throughout our garden. Using as little water as possible, and recycling grey water where possible, I wanted to create a lush, cooling, type tropical courtyard garden feel to our home. By using plantings strategically placed around the block and by supplying the correct amount of water to the garden we intended to achieve this outcome. With Perth's climate it was certainly quite a challenging undertaking.

Earth & Water helped us work through the issues, designing systems, installed the equipment & drip irrigation lines & then bought everything online. For us, we had a quite complex set of needs, hence, we had some teething problems initially, but with a little bit of perseverance by Earth & Water we worked things out & with regular maintenance the system is working very well. We certainly are saving quite a bit of water & our garden continues to take shape & thrive. I would recommend the grey water and sub surface irrigation approach and Earth & Water can get this sorted out for you for sure.

I had thought about having the underground reticulation system installed but have heard of
several people who have had continual problems with it clogging. Have decided not to go
ahead with it, especially after reading a report of poor after sales service.

I have worked with Nigel and his dedicated team at E&W on both a personal capacity and through work. On a personal level, he designed a grey-water recycling system for my existing home, which was quite a challenge to retro-fit. Work-wise, I consulted widely with him on an 8000sq.m sprinkler system to moisture-condition compost and also a spray-field to manage treated black-water from a 1200 person camp in the Pilbara. Helpful, knowledgeable and thorough - a pleasure to deal with.
