Eagles Heritage Raptor Wildlife Centre reviews
75I visited this place over 6 years ago, and had good memories as a first time visitor. Problem is, the place hasn't changed at all, in fact there have been so little change it's looking much more run down than before. There is a section called the 'endangered species interpretation module' which after 6 years is still not functional. When asked 'the cameras need repairing and we haven't been able to get anyone to repair them'. That sounds like a one day excuse, not a 6 year excuse. The bird enclosures are far too small which, given the amount of empty space in the park is disappointing. Two stars because I remember the bird show was good, though didn't visit it this time, and if you don't go for the show, don't bother going at all.
Great flying display and close encounter with a beautiful owl. This couple started the sanctuary in the 80s to help injured wildlife.so please visit and support them if you're interested.
Great show lovely walk through the enclosures, all the birds are healthy and well kept. Worth a look.
Very nice bird show. Our host was very knowledgeable about the the owls and eagles. It was much better than we have expected.
Lots of habitats for birds, well take cared off.
Should go if you are around.
Great place for a visit. We timed it so we could watch the flying show. Very informative, and highly recommended.
Great place to view our Aussie raptors. Worth getting there for the bird show at 11 am our 1: 30 pm. Slightly restricted performance due to covid but still worthwhile.
Not-for-profit organisation who help and rehabilitate birds of prey. Lovely block of land, great walk around looking at the different birds. Highly recommend attending the arial display, bookings required due to CoVID19. We booked and it had to be cancelled (twice) due to storms. Each time we were called to advise it was cancelled. Great customer service.
Look for a up close and personal interaction with hawks and owls and learn why they are vital to the country is well presented.
Brilliant, so glad we took time to see it and experience the flight show. The walk around the bird enclosures was pleasant and we got to see everything. The person hosting the flight show was knowledgeable and friendly.
Great for the kids to learn about raptors, good exhibition, learn about the owl its name was ivy
Something to break up the day from wine tasting. Only go when there is a show otherwise no point visiting.
After arriving at opening time, the lady answers the phone in front of us, takes a booking for 9, then tells us they're fully booked. Not even an apology.poor customer service.
Thoroughly enjoyed the flying display. The walk around the park and viewing the raptors was very pleasant
Great opportunity to see many of Australia's larger carnivorous birds, including eagles and kites. Flying experiences will vary as dealing with open area and wild animals.
Gift shop prices were also very reasonable.
Lovely place
Heaps of birds and the bird show was awesome. You get a photo with the barn owl.
Absolutely amazing worth the walk around seeing raptor birds we would never get the chance to see.the Raptor bird show is amazing.loved and so worth seeing
Worth the $18/adults, ABOUT 1.2 km walk around eagle n owl, protected endangered prediator birds.
We had a great time here holding the owl and watching the Black tail kites fly. Also a nice little walk around looking at all of the birds if prey. All money goes directly to the upkeep of the birds so we were very happy about that.
The only place you can see Eagles and Hawks up close! Better signages could be placed at certain places though, the paths may not be clear at junctions
It is amazing. They give you education about owls, and other hunting birds.
You can interact with them
I would definitely recommend it for children and adults
