Bad experience two days in a row. Went yesterday to the Dusk Carousel shop I dealt with a new staff member she was polite but lacked the knowledge from the questions I asked, by the time I got to the checkout she had trouble with membership discount barcode from my phone and also with voucher code. But the other lady who I assume was supervisor who assisted her came across abrupt and rude. Rarely smiled and felt like me being there was an imposition. As there is a sale on and my patience ran out yesterday my son offered to go back in and get the diffuser and oils etc for me. I went online to seek pictures of what I wanted and sent them to him only to find out that their online diffuser on sale for $70.00 was on sale in store for $90.00. Upon questioning them she rudely advised my son that the cheaper price was only online and they would not honor it. Very sad that considering I spent $180.00 in store yesterday and wanting to spend over $200.00 today that they could not see fit to honor the 20.00 discount advertised online. Leaving the store my son said he felt too like him asking questions was an imposition to them. Will never go back to the carousel dusk again. I will order online because clearly it’s cheaper and won’t have to deal with rude and inexperienced staff whom seemed rather unhappy under their leading hand! Where has the customer service gone!
I recently bought some products here for Mother's Day and was very disappointed with the products. The candles have barely any scent and the diffuser reeds are just as bad. If you want aromatic long lasting candles, try Damselfy.
I’ve always loved Dusk and their product but I don’t think I’ll ever return to the Dusk store in Carousel Westfield in Cannington. As I was paying, the older Filipino sales lady was pushing me to buy more items. I refused to purchase that item and not only did she gave me attitude (facial impression), she even mumbled something in her own language. I was shocked so I asked her what she said & she said “ it’s only $10 only and I thought you’re Filipino (just because I an Asian?) ”. She then knew she screwed up and started to be extra nice which was very fake and off-putting.
This kind of behavior and customer service is absolutely horrendous as this was one of the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. I’d highly recommend for your management team to review and evaluate whether having her as a Team member is a valuable asset to the company. Thanks!
Staff are very pushy and want you to spend lots so they make more. They disregard when you say no to items and keep pushing sales on you, only recommending the more expensive products
The lady staff wasn’t very polite, took the item from my hand and said”I put this in the counter so you can keep shopping “without my permission. Felt like been pushing to buy the product. And not very helpful when I seek for advice. Generally was a awful experience, and was doubting how come they hire staff like her to do the customer service.
Sales person was super pushy and tried to add things to my shop without asking if I wanted them
Bad customer service. I was being nice and friendly but the team member named Mary Jane was rude and she's giving me an attitude I didn't appreciate. I will never shop there again.
The sales lady was very unhelpful and arrogant when asked for suggestions of certain items. I didn't end up getting stuff as I felt like I wasn't welcomed as a customer and service was very awful.
The candles are good. Scents are amazing.
Generally everything is quite overpriced.
Went there to get some essential oil for diffuser, and this old filipino lady was very rude. I started talking to her nicely about a problem of the oil that I got and she raised her voice. She lectured me like I dont know anything. Instead of fixing the problem, (She completely ignored the policy) she treated me with a bad manner. Other staffs looked kind, I guess I chose the wrong staff to talk to.
She was very fake. She will talk to you nicely until you buy the products. After you buy them, she won't treat you very nicely.
I liked the products but I wouldn't go back again because of that lady. There's plenty of good essential oils on the internet.
Went to this place yesterday, and Brooklyn was great. She was very helpful and friendly. And I found a nice gift for someone
