Durty Nelly's Irish Pub reviews
59Lovely staff, definition of proper hospitality. This is a great place for drinks or a pub meal. Cannot recommend enough.
Watery chicken curry and under cooked batter for the fish and chip. Then glassy picked up my magers bottle that I hadnt even topped up. Food is always good maybe it's a new chef or just the holiday period.
Its a good bar, the sort of place you take the lads for that overdue catchup and wear out the guiness taps, or treat your dad to a (good) steak n chips with a pint by the real fireplace they have going in winter.
Good craic, but no crackheads. Two thumbs up.
I love Durty Nellys. Quaint picturesque location in Shafto Lane. Lovely veranda. The food is really great. Good prices & service excellent. Friendly Irish staff. Would highly recommend
Decent pub but dissapointed no irish music on Saturday night. Just a band doing covers of mainstream music
Warm surroundings, customer focused staff, Irish charm. Lunch lunchtime roast I've had for a long time. Highly recommended
The salt and pepper calamari was tough, chewy, oily and didn't seem to have any salt and pepper on it at all. A real disappointment. The Parmi was a nice big serve although the chips seemed to be heavily made up of tiny little short end scraps. The Aussie Parmi was a bit different; had to try it but ultimately a little sweet for my Parmi taste buds due to the BBQ sauce I guess.
Who can go past an Irish pub. This is another great place to hang out with groups and enjoy all there is to offer. Great location and heaps of room
Mamma loves a good Parma so it was a no brainer for us three to pop into Durty Nelly's for the Thursday special at $16.2 Italian versions for them and a regular for me and a side of the mash to die for.
Service exemplary, value excellent and ambience in the dining room relaxing. It was an early dinner so cannot comment on busy times. The plates are large so be prepared. Washed down with a Guinness, yum.
Amazing venue and staff. Was so easy to organise a function with around 70 people. The food was great and substantial. The barmaid in our own bar took care of everything. Everyone had a great time. The bar tab lasted way longer than expected and there were no issues with what drinks were covered. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a venue for a function or just a casual drink.
Love this place. Staff are great, atmosphere is great. Bit expensive but So is everywhere in Perth and you can get a proper pint here.
We were disappointed with our meals on 13th March. Not worth the money paid unfortunately!
Portion of chicken in the Irish curry was really small and the steamed rice was close to negligible! My husband had the fish and chips. The batter was oily and the 2 fish pieces were thin.
We used to come here before when the food were fresher and bigger portions.
Friendly staff, food was very average
Irish stew was like a casserole.
Fish was ok but salad was better.
Expensive for what it was.
Great staff, service and atmosphere. Good price meals and drinks. Specials on various days of the week. Not accessable for wheelchairs
Awesome service and venue! Here for a catch up with old mates! Nice outdoor area! First time drinking Guinness and I'm converted! Didn't get food as too busy drinking lolz but defz returning soon! Cheers guys!
Food was really good. The portion size was a little small for meals you get at a pub. They didn't have BBQ sauce. Don't know if thats a Perth thing as 50% of the places I've gone to don't have BBQ sauce the first time. Beer was a good price and liked there local beers.
This is a true Irish pub like in the old country and the food is surprisingly cheap, plentiful and good. Drinks are Perth prices so not cheap but a wide range inc Guiness etc on tap.
If you love a trinket Irish bar you'll love it, does what it says on the tin. (and that's no bad thing) don't need photos, you've all been in em!
I love this pub and try to get there when I’m back in Perth. Great music, reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff.
I’ve only eaten there once but all of our meals were great, with huge portions and were well priced. The Irish stew was a winner for sure.
