I've visited this coffee shop two days in a row because their coffee is truly exceptional. I also gave their taro bread a try, and it didn't disappoint. Conveniently located right in front of The Mint Museum, it's the perfect spot for a coffee before or after your museum visit.

Very very busy in the morning with everyone coming mostly for coffee. No gluten-free sandwich options, only chia puddings and a paleo banana bread (that was too sweet to be enjoyed. Coffees, hot chocolate and chai were all right, service really busy and not very friendly.

No skim milk, only backless stools to sit on except for one large table, and most of the food had onion chopped into it! So unfortunately it didn’t work for the simple birthday lunch I had hoped for!

Excellent coffee, great service and an interesting selection of food and fresh baked goods. Highly recommended!

Here for holiday and checked out all the cafe nearby the vicinity. Duotone served the best coffee, and the best toast! Regrettable that they were closed on weekends, if not I would have gone back a few more times!

I come to Duotone almost daily as it is the best coffee in the area and the locals know it. Sometimes there is one guy making the coffee that isn't so great so we get cold brew instead that day. The food is a little expensive but I guess you'd expect that in the city.

Its a bustling busy shop and everyone serving there are friendly and welcoming!

In town for a work trip and this has been my favorite cafe so far! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, well priced options that taste great and quality coffee and baked goods. What’s not to love!?

The cashier in the morning shift (the owner I assume) treats people with different ethnicity background differently. Been coming here over two months now, at first I thought he’s just having a bad day, now seeing him treating a particular group of people with could shoulders and apathy, I’m pretty certain that is the case.

Coffee IS top-tier, food is also great; all other staff are very friendly. But don’t forget, you are running a service business. Whatever cognitive biases or just simply undereducated opinions this guy has, the prejudice practice is just not a sustainable business model.

Won’t be coming here agin.

Duotone is the best cafe in Perth! Danielle the barista is always so friendly, coffee is great and food is even better.

Even when my girlfriend was trying to cut carbs to lose weight, she couldn't skip the mushroom toastie.

Coffee was good however was hoping for breakfast menu like shown in the photos however lady said there were only sandwiches toasties pre made available and no menu.

Definitely the best coffee in East Perth. All the baked goods look delicious and very friendly staff

Well-seasoned beef bulgogi made for a satisfying lunch rice bowl. Coffee was on point. Unfortunately the mushroom hamburger that my mate had was disappointingly small, and woefully lonely without any side salad or chips at all - not at all a great value.

From the moment you step inside the door and are greeted with a warm hello, you immediately feel welcome. The medium sized coffee would be considered large at other cafes. I can also recommend their sweet treats - excellent warm, banana bread.

Whenever I try a new cafe, I always go in with lowered expectations. The girls at Duotone really know how to serve up a strong, hot full-bodied coffee. It was strong without being bitter, the buttered banana bread also tasted great. I'll make this a regular coffee stop.

I enjoy this little gem in East Perth. Good coffee and the choc chip cookies straight out the oven are delicious!
