DUO planned and styled my wedding, which was held 3 days ago and I am still beaming about how wonderful it was! Wow, did Katie and Erica deliver! The ceremony and reception areas were unbelievably beautiful - we and our guests were blown away. We must have received 100 compliments about the flowers and set up! Plus everything ran smoothly, my partner and I were so relaxed knowing we were in safe hands. The same was the case throughout the planning process. Katie and Erica were so obviously competent and on top of everything that we could relax knowing they could handle anything. Along the way, their eye for detail meant that nothing was missed and they happily and quickly provided advice on anything they weren't doing themselves - from photographer, to drinks quantities, to the groomsmen's pocket squares! I wholeheartedly recommend Katie and Erica to anyone planning an event!

Erica and Katie from DUO Events Creative Studio were an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired their services to design a unique tradeshow/conference booth for an upcoming conference in Perth as well as organising a customer networking drinks to be held along the banks of the Swan River.

Erica and Katie came up with a truly inspired design for the booth and provided exceptional communication and management of suppliers, taking all the hassle of planning and organising this event off us. I cannot recommend Katie and Erica highly enough for anyone hosting an event in Perth! I look forward to partnering with them again in the future.

Right from the start of meeting with these two amazing people to the day of our wedding they continuously went above and beyond. We started the process of planning our wedding around 11 months before. We didnt have any sort of idea what we wanted for our wedding and within our first meeting they helped us pick our venue and made sure we had what we needed to book and how to best prioritize who to book first and who could wait a few weeks.
Our correspondence with them was fantastic. If we needed to see them it was never a problem and and they regularly kept in touch so we were always in the loop and well informed on what we needed to do on our end.
Our wedding day was like no wedding I have seen before. The detail these two girls put in to there work is incredible. They came to where we were getting ready and delivered the button holes and bouquet, and from the bouquet to the amazing installations at the cermony and the entry way the girls had done the best job. There creativity is beyond anything we could have ever tried to put together! And not only that but they made sure the whole day ran smoothly and even after the wedding we had nothing we needed to do execpet enjoy our time and husband and wife.
These two were the best thing to happen to us on our wedding day (besides getting married) and we couldnt recommend them enough!

DUO styled the Valedictory Celebrations (particularly our Dinner) at Santa Maria College. Their attention to detail was exceptional and was appreciated by the families and students present at the event. They were highly organised and efficient and definitely did not disappoint in their execution of the styling of the event. They were professional and a pleasure to work with. Could not recommend them more highly.

My wife and I met the girls at a wedding expo and were drawn to their enthusiasm and passion. They seemed as excited about our wedding as we were. They took a lot of care in what they did and would always be looking to save us money where they could. We were impressed that they’d reprice suppliers we already had locked in to make sure we got the best rate. Their attention to detail was great, they made both the ceremony and reception areas perfect and the florals were spectacular. Took a lot of the little details and stresses away from us on the day so we could just enjoy it. Couldn’t be happier with what Katie and Erica delivered and we made two new friends that love a wine like us. Thanks girls!

I have had amazing services provided by Katie & Erica on two occasions, the first was asking them to style my 30th birthday (Feb 2017) which they did perfectly. I was very impressed with what they produced within budget. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Which meant when I was planning my civil ceremony in Perth this April I asked Katie to do my flowers. I was blown away by the attention to detail on both occasions. I couldn't recommend these two enough. Professional, considerate and exceed expectations. Thank you xx

My wedding day wouldn't have been the same without Katie & Erica from DY.o Events. The girls did an absolutely incredible job styling our wedding and creating the most magnificent floral installation to be the backdrop of our ceremony. Katie and Erica communicated with us continuously in the lead up to the wedding to define the concept and build an idea that matched our dreams for the day. Not only were we blown away with the end result, the girls worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure everything was perfect so that we didn't have to think about anything. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making the day so special.

With our wedding this October, the ladies at DY.o events have been beyond amazing and have made the whole process of planning a wedding enjoyable. Right from the beginning the ladies were open to all ideas for the overall design and were so flexible when it can to us changing things and altering items to match our budget and vision. They have gone above and beyond for us to ensure the design reflects us as a couple and is in line with our budget at all times. I can’t thank you both enough for all you have done for us and for going the extra mile at all times to make our dreams come true.

Everything was just perfect and we've have had so many compliments and comments lauding the styling and ambience of the evening. I have so much praise and thanks for Katie and Erica, the ladies from DY.o Events. They are incredibly creative, original and professional in their work and created for us our dream wedding which was more beautiful than we ever thought possible. They went over a beyond what was expected. Not only do they envisage, design and create beautiful spaces, they managed the event without a hiccup. Can’t recommend them enough!

The team at DY.o Events are wonderful to work with! Right from the beginning of the brief through to the end result they were in regular contact, provided a wealth of product and venue knowledge, were afforable and nailed the design with so much attention to detail. (The flowers were epically amazing!) The amount of love that goes into their work shines through at every step. Thanks so much for creating a kick ass event! I won’t hesitate to recommend to anyone needing event design services!

Dy.o made big promises about working closely together on our wedding to refine and deliver the vision we had in mind. Unfortunately their reception design felt more like a corporate event, varying wildly from what was discussed at the introductory meeting and mood board.

After one revision we were made to feel like our requested changes were imposing on THEIR event. Dy.o attempted to push us onto a different company four months away from our wedding, while happily keeping the entirety of the stage one payment fee.

Although initially welcoming, their demeanor quickly changed when we tried to steer our wedding in the direction we wanted. They were unable to deliver on their promises to understand our design, and made us feel like executing their preferred design was more important than delivering what their clients hired them for.

At the end of the day, Dy.o wasted $1200 and four months of precious preparation time.

The silver lining to this saga was we were able to work with another company who not only understood our requirements but also spotted shortfalls that Dy.o failed to consider at all. Our new designers went above and beyond to deliver our dream wedding when Dy.o proved to be incapable and unwilling

I wanted to say a big thank you for all that you did to make my 40th birthday lunch so special. We all had an absolutely awesome day and none of this could have been possible without you.
The styling was simply gorgeous and just perfect. From the moment you presented your initial concept design ideas, i felt completely understood, in best hands and knew that you would exceed my expectations.
You dealt very professionally with various venues and provided me with detailed assessment of options and your recommendation on venue. You assisted in the selection of the food and beverages including quantities. The table was immaculately styled with linen, purpose designed menu and place cards, mini balloons, foil balloons and simply stunning flower arrangements. You even managed to deliver extra flowers to the cake maker to ensure that the cake matches the styling. Stunning!
You ensured that absolutely everything was considered. Your keen eye for detail, talent, professionalism, knowledge and workmanship made the day seamless. Thank you for creating such a wonderful day for me - memories I will always cherish.
I would trust you to deliver any event and absolutely recommend you to everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of engaging DYO events to support me with event planning and space activation for Orientatiin Week at the biggest university in WA. They were so great at picking up on the vision that we were going for and never batted an eyelid or made me feel uncomfortable with my tweaks i asked for over the journey. The space looked amazing and the flow and atmosphere absoloutly on point. I also found them to be really engaged and approachable. I was also impressed with their costs which theu were able to contain and still deliver to a high standard. Thanks DYO we couldnt of done it without you and I cannot reccomend enough. YOU ROCK

DYO aka THE DUO are the most detailed and client focused professionals I have had the pleasure of working with. I have worked with DY.o events over the past few years both for work and personal events. Their capacity to meet an exact brief, or create something sensational (even when I wasn’t sure what I wanted), is always outstanding.
