Jodi the owner was warm and friendly. The carriages were just what we needed for a couple of nights, and our dog enjoyed watching the kangaroos and other animals from a distance, on a lead. So close to town, yet quiet and tranquil.

Enjoyed our stay here over the long weekend at the farm house with 2 other families (fits all 13 of us!). Jodi was so friendly and passionate about the place.

The kids enjoyed feeding the Alpacas and chooks - we were given some free range eggs too - so blessed! Not forgetting the huge trampoline which was my kid's highlight during the stay.

Men enjoyed the woodfire to warm the place at night too.

Thanks Jodi and Jim for such a wonderful and memorable stay.
Kids didn't wanted to go home:)

We were lucky enough to be the only ones staying here. Wonderful hospitality and our puppy absolutely loved it. The only thing I can fault is the cleanliness of the cabin. Quite a few spiderwebs and very very dusty. It needs a good DEEP cleaning and new furnishings.

Break from city. Pleasant area of the State. Good accessibility to South West and features. Accomodation modest, good access to firewood as needed from April to October. Appearance of Cottages, Carriages and property became clear when advised it will be cleared and the property redeveloped. Pleasant break for 2 nights. Spar bath faulty and no assistance provided. Building had structural damage which could be hazardous and no maintenance apparent both inside and surrounding the cottage. Very enjoyable for young children.

Jim, Jodie and Scarlet were so welcoming and made our stay absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend this place. Such amazing wildlife and yet so close to town. Thank you guys for everything. Great start for our new chapter living here in this beautiful part of the world.

This place is nowhere near as nice as the photos. The whole place looks run down and not cared for. It was well below standard and dirty. I am commenting the the rail car accommodation not the cottages. We were very disappointed and would never ever stay in this depressing place again.

Very good experience here and very happy to see some neighbors who also want to enjoy a life in nature with own pets. Mulberry tree is also a fun with seeing kangaroos standing away from us. Feeding chickens and sheeps, alpaca is unforgettable morning activity.:) Location is also good, coles and local cafes are just 5min driving and simmon (?) Icecream factory is just 2 min away or 10 min walking from here. Rail accomodation is not new facility but it is acceptable for me and my family. If you find and modern and vert clean hotel grade, this is not recommended.but i believe most of average people may accept here:)

This place became a reason why I should come back to Dunsborough.

Awsome and cheap. It is the bush so a couple problems with insects. But other than that very happy

We have stayed at the Carriages many times over the years and it's always been a very pleasant break. It's been a few years since our last visit and we were extremely disappointed this time in how run down the carriages have become. The place was dirty, thick dust under the bed, dirty dishes and cutlery, dirty towel hanging on back of bathroom door. Gaps in the bathroom wall which allowed bats to come in at night and fly around much to the horror of myself. Needless to say we won't be coming back which is a shame as it's been lovely previously.
