Dunsborough Beach Cottages reviews
25We had a fabulous time at the Beach Cottages. So much so that my girlfriends and I have booked to come in June. I have recommended the Dunsborough Beach Cottages to many of my friends.
Had an awesome stay! Absolutely loved the beach house we stayed in. Very clean, beachy decor and all the utensils you could want. Lovely lawns and gardens plus the pool was a surprise as we didn't expect one. Will definitely stay again. Hopefully longer next time
We loved our time at dunsburough cottages. Caz was super friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the mid week clean.
The only complaint was that the beds were uncomfortable.
We always feel welcome here home away from home. Kaz and Hugh are very caring managers. We love the location to walk to town and back for coffee. Sunrise is amazing
Had an amazing time! Rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. You could walk into town and the beach was so close! Will definitely be back
Loved everything about this place….
Easy to book, super helpful caretakers/ managers, standard of accommodation was excellent & location was perfect.
We’ll definitely be back!
Excellent short break. Cottage was perfectly set up and equipped for our stay. Ideal location right on the beach and a short walk into the town centre. Wish we could have stayed longer
Perfect location - the accommodation had everything we needed. We loved our stay at Dunsborough Beach Cottages - thank you for a wonderful week. We would definitely come back
We booked 3 similar 2 bed cottages for an extended family reunion (one branch had just flown in from Ireland) of 7 adults ranging from mid 70s down to 40s in age, and 7 grandchildren ranging in age (and temperament) from 6 to 20 years old, for 3 nights in late October 2022. So a wide range of expectations, wants and needs, and priorities.
One family member had briefly stayed a few years ago, and had recommended that we should try to stay here.
She was spot on. We were all very impressed with the standard of the accommodation, the airiness and space, cleanliness, comfort, suitability for family stays, the location (beachside, and very close to the town centre), the generosity with all the facilities provided both in the cottages and on the property as a whole, and the friendliness of the hosts, including very helpful advice as to how to actually house everybody in a way that kept everyone happy, when making the reservation. Our stay was a great success, and we all said we'd highly recommend the business to friends and acquaintances.
There was just one minor "mishap" over the period. The glass doors are so amazingly clean that the youngest family member aged 6 tried to run at full speed through one. Fortunately she just bounced. And was all smiles a few minutes later.
We hope to be back.
Perfect location and perfect place. The service couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. Have booked to return.
As a regular visitor to this beautiful part of Australia, I am always greeted by friendly staff and spotless cottages. Proximity to the beach is important, sunrise photos are special every single morning.a perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
The cottage was so clean and modern. In a great location and loved being so close to the water. We will definitely be coming back to stay.
Such a great central location for families, walking distance to town. Our kids love cycling/scooting up and down the driveway, spending time in the pool and in the playground and of course, the beach is right at the end of the road. Thanks again Dunsborough Beach Cottages, we will be back!
House had everything we needed, was very comfortable and quiet and right next to the beach. Just wish we’d booked an extra night but we’ll be back!
I booked the cottage for myself and the of my friends as we were looking for a beach side location, very close to a town, in the Margaret River area. We could not have been happier.we could not fault a thing either.it was beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, incredibly well appointed, wonderfully luxurious and we wanted for nothing.we literally fell out of our back door onto the beach, there was so much natural beauty and wildlife, and it was the most pleasant stroll into town. Dunsborough itself is a terrific town, with delicious food, wonderful shopping, great markets on Saturday, and a pleasant feel.thank you very much, and I would highly recommend a stay here.
Our stay at No 2 Cottage was amazing accessible shower area for my husband, all bedrooms were excellent very warm and comfortable stay.
We highly recommend Dunsborough Beach Cottages. Perfect location. The cottage was very clean and tidy. It had all the amenities you need for a perfect stay.
Our captains cottage was great.very roomy. Clean. Close to shops. My only negative is some of the blinds were broken.
I stayed in the Clownfish beachfront apartment from the 30th Sept to 3rd October. This was my 3rd stay in one of the beachfront cottages and I loved it just as much as my other two visits. The apartments are stunning, such wonderful attention to detail and the location - straight in-front of Dunsborough Beach, cannot be beaten in my opinion. The icing on the cake is the wonderful management team - Caz and Hughie, they are just lovely! So welcoming and warm and they maintain the cottages to an extremely high standard. I can't recommend Dunsborough Beach Cottages enough, I feel instantly at peace when I stay here and can't wait until my next visit.
We stayed in sandpiper cottage and were pleasantly surprised. The interior looks recently updated. The space was very clean and smelled fresh and well maintained. Linens were white and clean. Dishes and utensils all clean and working. Gardens were lush and well kept. Ours was stocked with an xbox and multiple games as well as an old retro Atari which kept my son happy. Listened to some ABBA on the record player provided with tons of 60's 70's and 80's records to choose from. Played some bocce on the back lawn and uno jenga (all provided). You can tell the owners have put a lot of love and thought into their cottages and I would happily reccomend them to anyone and everyone staying in Dunsborough. Thank you Hughie and Caz for a lovely stay, we hope to return soon
