Dunning's Southern Cross Roadhouse

Not like other roadhouse meals!
You can get a great meal from here. Cooked as if it was made at home. They do steaks, burgers, there is a whole menu to choose from. The big breakfast is delicious and BIG! Great friendly staff also.

Lovely, friendly lady who pointed out a discount on the drink that I had purchased. The fuel was a reasonable price.

A great stop off and friendly staff. A good rest stop if driving through as I was from Vic.

Poor counter service not very enthusiastic or happy. Kitchen staff friendly and breakfast was nice.

We were traveling so this is our 1st visit here. We opted to support local business rather than the big mob across the road, glad we did. The food was surprisingly good, didn't realise they had hot food on offerand the service was great.

Food normally is good, stopped for a steak burger and the cook was too busy chatting with customers steak overcooked messed up what was needed to be left out. Is it going to take lawsuits for roadhouses and restaurants to get things right?

Has a decent selection of food available, when the kitchen is open that is! Fuel prices aren't too bad here either.

Cant remember what it was like. Servo. Middle of no where. Wasn't there some bikies killed near Southern Cross back in the 90s? Then they killed the ex police commissioner in return years later? 5 stars

Standard stop for trucks and travellers. Plenty of parking, standard toilets and shower, reasonable hot food choices, dine-in seating available.

Great place to meet new people. Food is yummy for a roadhouse and the prices are to die for. Check it out if you are travelling through southern cross to refuel the car or camper and don't forget your self. You can even get yourself a flat white for those coffee drinkers

Not impressed with the ham cheese and tomato sandwich. I got there at 1pm and it tasted like it had been there since the place was opened that day.

Not the cheapest fuel around, you are better off to buy at smaller towns.

Good spot to stop in town. Parking around the back for trucks.
Food reasonable and amenities clean and tidy

Huge parking area and decent food prices. The food is great here little wonder there are always truckies stopped here to have a meal. Drinks range is a bit small but the staff are super friendly and engaging. Sit down meals available and of an awesome quality (pub standard) standard pie warmer stuff is OK.
