The best! Be organised with your questions at your appointment. There are many people in line. Two friends and myself see him for periodic facet joint rhizotomies. Life changing! If you have structural issues such as issues necessitating disc replacement he will refer you to Dr Michael Kern.

Dr Holthouse is very helpful I had lots tests while in hospital to see what was causing pain. I find his staff very friendly couldn’t be nicer. I would recommend David Holthouse to anyone especially for pain management

I have a neuro stimulator implant for cluster migraines and it had stopped working after 12 years I rang Nevro and they helped me see Dr Holthouse as I was having severe migraines. I saw him as soon as possible and he operated and put in a new stimulator. He was lovely and easy to talk to but highly professional. Between him and the amazing Nevro Reps I am now able to enjoy life again. Thank you xx

The medical cannabis is the answer to help me with the depression associated with chronic pain. My wife says never stop taking it as it makes you a better, happier person to live with.

Hi Everyone be careful with this pain clinic. David holthouse can be nice but when you are waiting for referrals for over 6 months and when he rang I tried find out where the referrals are David said they would be ready in a week. I rang back a week later and spoke to one of the secretaries only to told they did not know were the referrals and when questioned about it, the secretary told me that I was abusing her and was hung up on. Within the hour I was no longer a patient of David holthouse, I rang and managed to talk to the office manager and was told that I was it not allowed to defend myself and that they did not record any conversationsand that was it. So be careful if you interfere with a holiday conversation, they will make up lies about you.

Met him for the first time, just prior to going in for injections under knockout. (after referral) Lovely bloke.
I have had chronic back, leg, hip pain for years due to initial misdiagnosis. He has sorted it out just lovely and has a great bedside manner. Would recommend him and his team very highly. 2 days after the procedure, feeling like a spring lamb, which isn't bad for old mutton.

Saw Dr H for a while as a private patient through workers comp insurance. Had cortizone injections (8in total). Lasted 3-4 days, then back to huge chronic pain levels.
Sadly I cannot go back to Dr H as I am back to being a public patient and cannot afford it. I am hoping to try injections again soon, after I ask my renal transplant team for a public referral, as I am now dependant on opioids for marginal daily pain relief, which is detrimental to my transplanted kidney, and highly addictive. Hopefully Dr H can pass on my clinical details to whichever new neurosurgeon I get.

Dr Holthouse has treated both my partner & I.
His knowledge of chronic pain management is EXCEPTIONAL. He’s constantly up to date with new methods & treatments & is always willing to listen to my requests/ideas & he takes the time to thoroughly explain reasons why they may or may not work.
During hospital stays, he pops in frequently to answer any questions you may have. I’ve been in hospital before where I’ve had to request to see my surgeon, but never with David, he checks in frequently.
I’ve learnt so much from David. His knowledge of chronic pain & the brain is by far the best in WA.
We’ve seen many surgeons over the years & he has the absolute BEST bed side manner of them all. There’s just something about his energy, he’s so welcoming & kind & you just feel comfortable & safe under his care. Whilst he is still quite young, his friendly demeanour is old school. You can sense his sincerity, he was born to do this type of work.
I am so grateful to have found David, without him I can’t imagine where I would’ve been by now. What an amazing man, thank you so much David!

Dr H is amazing. I have seen him several times now as I deal with Chronic Pain due to several surgeries on my lumbar region. He continues to suggest and proceed with procedures until will have found a solution. I have huge amounts of confidence and trust with Dr H and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Coleman is an outstanding doctor and does everything he can to address any issue you put before him.
