Satay chicken was horrible, the consistency is gravy and there is no peanuts in it. I have never had a satay chicken so disappointing. Schezuan beef was alright but more meat would’ve been nice. Service is also really slow

Is it the best Chinese restaurant we have been to? No. Will we go back? Yes. While we have been to better, to find a restaurant that gives you the true flavours of China in Perth is not easy. The food was tasty and enjoyable.
The best of the dishes was the soft shell crab. Very nice indeed.
We also ordered the Peking (Beijing) Duck. Half a duck for $39 with San Choy Bau as the 2nd part of the dish. It wasn't as good as having it at Bianyifang in Beijing, but they have a 600 year advantage over this restaurant. However it was still tasty and prepared at the table in the same fashion as Bianyifang. What disappointed us was that we paid for half a duck but I would estimate that at least 50% of the duck that we paid for didn't make it to the table. In the photos you can see how much meat was left on the carcass. What we got in the 4 lettuce leaves is clearly not the rest of our duck! Especially if you consider most of what was there was vegetable! What happened to our duck? Next time we might ask them to leave the carcass at the table and just order some fried rice.
Their menu is good and there are a number of dishes I would still like to try.
The staff were efficient and friendly.
Would we recommend it? Yes. That is partly based on the fact that the majority of the clients eating there were Chinese, always a good sign.

270523 - Definitely 5 stars this time. Didn't have Beijing duck. Instead had Sichuan Lamb and Fried Duck with Veg fried rice.
Absolutely wonderful. Still a bit expensive, hence the long time between visits.
However I would recommend these dishes to anyone. The Sichuan Lamb was not so chili hot but good enough. Loved the Sichuan peppers, always a favourite. Staff were helpful and friendly as before. Great job everyone.

Beautiful fresh food, cheerful, quick service.
Grandkids had Honey Chicken, S & S pork and Special Fried Rice from the standard menu. All extremely yummy dishes but on the whole, quite pricey. Just in excess of $80 (1 x 12yr old and 1 x 15yr old).
Then, 2 adults having quite a fair go at the Dim Sum, ended up cheaper than the kids meals!
I'd be happy to order all those dishes again, but there has to be a cheaper way.
The total bill was just over $150 (which included 2 beers and 2 lemonades) To spend that much on a spur of the moment 'cheap' lunch is a little hard to swallow.
However, all of the food was hot, tasty and plentiful.
My only gripe? - 2 x 12yr olds ordering off a std menu, plus 2 adults having the Dim Sum, the final price was wayyy beyond expectations.

Welcoming service and Amazing food.large portions and sweet & sour pork was the best we've ever had. Would have given 5 stars but we ordered spring rolls which never arrived. But will definitely be back.

Disappointed with the service cos our food didn’t turn up after a long, long wait and the manager with the vest just shrugged his shoulders. The other manager who is taller is the saving grace of the store. One manager is enough as long as he is good.

Used to be a great place, but now nothing extraordinary.

Food is good. Sometimes it gets giga busy, so it makes sense that the waiters and waitresses sometimes can't take care of the customers needs. They also have a shortage of staff too. Overall, if you arrive half an hour after they open, you'll get p pretty good service.

The worst service I've ever had, after the long wait to be seated and being ignored at the front door by multiple staff, my partner and I waited a further 15 minutes after being seated without any acknowledgement from staff. Other people that already had food were being served again right next to us. We ended up walking out, this is the first time I have ever done this in a restaurant. It's extremely disappointing as the one in Northbridge has always been great for food and service.

After eating here for years we’ve had it. Doors never open on time, rude wait staff. Food was always fresh but the experience at the restaurant has forced us away.

The food is pretty ordinary and the service and attitude of staff is shocking. The waiter is so rude, will never go back again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

The food was good but it all arrived at once causing the table to be covered with so many dishes it made things awkward.

Terrible service. We waited at least 20mins before getting up and going to the counter to ask if someone can give us a menu and come take our order. We tried to get multiple staff members attention but they just walked straight past and ignored us. They weren't very busy so I dont understand why they weren't acknowledging us. Won't be returning to this place ever again. Very disappointing.

Very Awful service! Do not go there for dinner and want to celebrate. Manager was totally unprofessional in dealing with customers. We went for banquet menu to celebrate birthday and reserved ahead. They were totally unprepared. It's a rip off. Do not waste money here. You will not enjoy food with a terrible service. The lady who served was not courteous at all- they made our celebration bad. Total mistake going there. I will never go to this place ever!

Food was super greasy. When we told them we don't want tea and only asked for tap water, we got charged $8 for a bottled water and almost had to pay for one more rice if we hadn't checked the receipt.

The worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been. EXTREMELY RUDE waitress AND waiter.carelessly shoved the bowls and plates on the table, almost threw them towards us. Needs to train staff about Hospitality!

Probably one of the worst Chinese take away meals I've ordered ever. The BBQ pack was all bone, and not just an over exaggeration I mean it was almost like somebody's leftovers. For the price we paid, I will never be eating here again. Poor effort.

03Sept2021: Place, location, and ambience is very good. Service was really bad, food serving took too long, because of lack of waiter/s. Food is presentation is good, but the taste is not really good. Generally, experience is not good enough.

Had brunch yesterday, I have to say it was the worst service I have ever experienced, you just about had to stand on the table to get any acknowledgement from staff and ordered food was luke warm. We go to the Northbridge
store all the time and can never fault it.

No staff coordination. Beverage arrived late after meals, ask for condiments but staff was not attentive to our requests.
