Finally able to get my elderly mother with dementia out of the house for her 11.30am appointment. On arrival was told Dr Elsman was running late and still 9 patients in front of my mums appointment!
My mother was already distressed from being out of the house and when we approached the office after a lengthy wait and said "she is having a panic attack, can she be seen soon" was told she will just have to wait. Obviously not an option so we had to leave.
Appreciate the health system is under pressure and everyone is frustrated with long waits but where is the care if any. A courtesy call to let patients know of an excessive wait time would be suffice!
As for Dr Elsman, I have a few gripes but can say we will definitely no longer be seeing her or coming to this practice anymore if this is the new "standard" of care. I see from a previous review that we are not the only one's who have experienced the same. Dissapointing and disgusting Dr 7!

It was terrible today. Such a long wait time. Right now it's before 10am and they are already running 45mins late. I booked in an early spot but that didn't help.

Unfortunately my usual Dr has retired so I have been seeing Dr Elsman.
After another very unprofessional experience with Dr Elsman yesterday, I did some homework on her & after reading these reviews I feel somewhat better that it's not just me.
It shocks me that Dr Elsman raises her voice, speaks to me in a condescending way, yesterday dismissed my feelings showing zero empathy & questioning me as if my concerns were not valid. Dr Elsman has the worst temperament & lack of manners.
It's concerning to read so many reviews regarding Dr Elsman highlighting the same concerns other patients have raised.
Worst experience ever, I left in tears certainly will be seeking a new Dr.ertainly will

I’ve been here twice and each time I’ve had to wait over 1.5hrs for my scheduled appointment. It’s ridiculous. They obviously book too many patients and the doctors can’t handle it. I haven’t experienced this at any other clinic I’ve been to in the metro area. Never will come back here.

I’m submitting this review on behalf of a family member who attended the practice.

“It’s shocking that Dr Elsmann is still practicing.
Her total lack of empathy and condicending attitude make her for one of the worst doctors I have ever seen.
What’s even more of a concern are the abundance of reviews highlighting the same problems that other patients have experienced. Clearly the practice manager (I’m guessing Victoria?) is either too incompetent at her job or is simply too intimidated to address this to Dr Elsmann.
My advice, the whole practice should undertake some customer service based training before they lose more patients. ”

I am having a very unpleasant time with hallucinations and needed medication to help me bare it, at first the doctor was refusing to write me a script until I pleaded with them, this is wrong I thought it was a doctors duty to help people in need, not impressed at all
And I told her I needed to get a script for high blood pressure my arms are going numb and have been told by a nurse I have a high risk of having a stroke and that was completely forgotten about
DO NOT RECOMMEND

Shocking. That is the less that I can say. First, my appointment was at 10.50am and finally received medical attention at mid day.

Second, I am a International Student who do not have Medicare. I went to this medical centre and I paid $75 for a private consultation. The doctor gave me a prescription which started an allergic reaction. Two days after I was finally able to go back to DR7 to request a prescription change only, but for my surprise the receptionist Sandra and the manager wanted me to pay again $75 just because I do not have Medicare.

I asked WHY based on that I payed my fee for the first appointment and now I was not requiring a consultation but only a medication change. They replied "if you have Medicare, we can do that. But as you do not, the only thing you can do to request a medication change is paying for a new appointment".

This is one of the most humiliating experiences that I have gone through in Australia, as they make me feel as a second class human being. I was really sick, still under the allergic reaction, I needed help, I payed for medical help, I was just requiring a medication change only, but the only way to get it was paying $75 again. But if I was Medicare, I could get it for free. So now I am home, sick, with no medication, trying to get through with my sickness and my allergic reaction. A full medical discrimination case from people who do not have the minimum sense of humanity.

One if the worst service, even after taking an appointment, they made us wait for good 40 minutes.

Avoid German doctor Elsmann. Treated my relative horribly like a second class citizen, raised voice and arrogant manner, telling her that she will die soon repeatedly, just because she would not relent to a pharmacological treatment known to cause severe side effects. My relative is a nurse with 40 years experience in hospital wards around many doctors and medical staff. She said this doctor has the worst temperament and lack of manners with patients she has ever seen.

Charged full price for phone consultation where I was told to go get a covid test, seems a bit unreasonable

Specifically booked a long appointment only to be dismissed after a few minutes and a quick press on my stomach and having my pain and concerns ignored. To make it worse, receptionist then gave a hard time for booking a long appointment and 'not needing it'. Left in tears. Went to a different GP the next morning and who sent me straight to the emergency department. I've been in hospital for 3 days now. Worst GP experience, no care for patients and dangerous misdiagnosis.

Shocking service, partner went for appointment with Angelika Elsmann for back pain, was refused painkillers and told it wasn’t his back, sent for a scan not on his back and made book another appointment to get results. After paying $75 for original doctors appointment, nearly $400 for scan, was brought back just to be told she can’t tell what’s wrong as he didn’t get the right scan and needs to go for another scan actually on his back this time but that it would cost more.then asked for another $75 for this appointment. Partner pointed out he had back pain all along and wanted a scan on his back so why did she refer him for that, she said oh well I thought it wasn’t your back. Said again about painkillers and doctor basically laughed and told him he should think about private health care. Almost $600 no pain relief no answers and all because the doctor decided against what the patient had made an appointment for. Absolute disgrace and a joke if there was any other option we wouldn’t even give one star

Today I was booked in for a 0950hr appointment. Saw Dr Pillay Surendran at 1110hrs. The doctor seated himself with his knees touching mine. I had to move my chair back and explained that I felt uncomfortable. He informed me he is deaf. I had to raise my voice into a loud pitch that it gave me a headache. Repeating myself and being spoken over increased my anxiety to the point I had to ask him that I wanted to leave. I have never had an issue previously at this surgery and will not again as I will not use this clinic any further. Went to see a doctor for medical consultation and came out feeling worse. Was shaking so badly that I could not have a blood sample taken at pathology. I will be seeking legal advice about taking this matter further. I will say he is pleasant but incompetent

The receptionist was nice. Doctor however, found lacking in empathy. Came in with a flu, confirmed no covid, she sat like a stiff board not wanting to really touch me. Her stethoscope barely touched the areas she was checking and was met with judgement and sarcasm when disclosing a part of my medical history. This is not a bulk billing medical centre so save your money for actual empathetic, caring doctors who take their Hippocratic oath seriously. Not even the convenience of it being my local medical centre would drag me back here again.

My mum wasted her time by visiting Dr Angelika Elsmann, please check her reviews before you waste your breathe on horrible docs like these.

Tried to book online for an appointment. Received a confirmation e-mail. When phoning up the centre before arrival (as i have cold and flu like symptoms) am told that they don't have a booking? Beware of booking online. Was then told that if i haven't been to this doctor in the last year they can't book me in? NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Excellent Practice with helpful staff. Bettina in particular is a superstar. My doctor is wonderful & has helped me so much in my short time here. I've finally found a practice that cares for and caters well for it's patients.
