Dr Russell's Imaginarium reviews
34A fun interactive experience for all ages! Like an antique shop but better. Don’t forget to look up!
Very cool place with interesting and odd artefacts around every corner. Well worth a visit.
A very quirky place to visit. The owner is so knowledgeable and very willing to explain the history of an item or how something works. You can very much see and appreciate the passion, time and dedication it has taken to put together a collection of oddities like this. It’s pretty much a museum and a $2 entry is more than a fair price. I only had eftpos and the owner was very accomodating for me. I always come here for specialty gifts and whenever I visit I always walk away with the most intriguing item. One of the things I like the most about this place is that you can walk through a couple times and you’ll always see new things. It’s great to see businesses like this bounce back after the fire that went through and destroyed stock. If you’re nearby this is definitely a great place to stop in and have a peruse.
Visited this shop last year & would pay the Entry fee. Sorry to hear the Increase in prices for you
Mesmerising! Unique and well worth the $2 admission fee. (Bargain!) the block of stores had a fire that they are recovering from, please stop by and show your support to small local businesses:)
I would have given a much higher rating but for the admission fee. We last visited prior to Covid and really enjoyed the experience, no payment required back then to look around this fascinating shop, we bought a wall plaque. We returned last month eager to show our family this place only to find a $2 entry charge per person on the door.
I realise covid has hit businesses hard but I always find it offputting when places like this start charging a fee to simply look around, we turned and walked away. I wonder how many others do the same? I always wonder if shops gain or lose more business doing so, guess it works for some. I gather the owner will refund if you buy something but if not that's an $8 entry fee.
A nice antique store with lovely service. Pay $2 and you get a lucky coin to use to watch an old style moving movie. Very nice to see different toys and other things (feeling nostalgic).
Awesome shop and a really nice guy, really interested in everything he has collected, also really great customer service!
A great place to purchase vintage Star Wars figures. I have personally bought all my loose vintage figure from here. The service is always great and you always feel welcome.
Amazing place, such an interesting collection of stuff and as an avid Star Wars collector it’s a must go. Staff are super helpful and friendly.
Great shop great service but just be careful when buying enamel signs and some collectibles are reproduced!
Made in India and China
I could paw over this amazing collection for hours. Beautifully put together and a huge range. Highly recommend visiting!
I have lived in Guildford for a few years now and this is honestly still one of my favourite places, You are certain to find something you like.
I love this place. Highlight of Guildford. It’s an imagination of magical historical fun fascinating artefacts you’ll find nowhere else. Love this guy he’s a gem. Keep it up we love this place.
Nothing quite like this place anywhere else in Perth, an absolute must see if you are ever in the area. Attention to detail everywhere you look this store wouldn't look out place in Nakano Broadway.

Love this shop! Weird and wonderful antiques and oddities. I have found a number of unique gifts here. It’s really close to the Guildford Train Station and easy to find. Great customer service if you ask the staff what you’re looking for. Very enthusiastic and informative owner!
Such a wonderful kooky little place. Lots of antiques, vintage toys and things you never even knew existed. Dr. Russell and the other lady in the shop were super helpful and I can't wait to go back and buy more things I never thought I needed
Struggling to find words to describe this shop. It is an experience and a half. As well as that you’re guaranteed to fall in love with something, I never leave without a few purchases I’d never thought I’d need (but so obviously do)! Cannot fault the lovely customer service here, unlike any other stores in Guildford. Seriously a must see, first stop kind of shop!
We had the best time here today! The store was very kindly reopened for us, and we loved poring over all of the unique pieces! I could easily spend all day in here. Customer service was great- I already can't wait to see what's new the next time I come in.
