Doctor Robert Love has just performed Carpal Tunnel relief surgery on my right hand. Throughout the whole process, from initial consultation to the assessment before and after the procedure, I felt nothing but confidence regarding a great outcome of the surgery. Following a weight loss of 70kgs I consulted with Dr Love regarding a further 10kgs of excess skin which no amount of diet and/or exercise could shift.

A few years back I seen him for a tumour removal. He recommended an MRI which then showed up an even bigger tumour that I didn’t know about. He did such a good job on the surgery that you have to stretch the skin to see the scar. Would recommend him.
I’m about to have another tumour removed and again I am impressed with his professional demeanour. He had a medical student with him and explained the process of my diagnosis etc with him. Simply the best.

I would absolutely recommend Dr Love. His work is second too none. What I appreciate and is missing in many Dr's, especially in some Specialists, is the care, the personal touch, the human factor. I personally have had an intense medical history and don't have a lot of faith in Dr's. Dr Love could see that I was anxious and actually listened and acknowledged my concerns and seen to my case promptly to ease my anxiety. Furthermore he had a medical student with him and asked if I would talk with him. He asked the medical student to ask questions and listen. He was teaching the student on how to address patients, on the personal side, something that is not taught in University and that makes all the difference. I am so impressed by not only his work and skills but his interpersonal skills.

Mr Love was engaged to remove a squamous cell carcinoma from my hand, on referral from my skin doctor.
Mr Love's work was of the highest standard.
Although a large area cut across the top of the hand was needed he managed to use skin flaps to cover it after the removal.
After a few weeks the area of treatment is almost undetectable on the hand, and there are no residual problems with hand use and flexibility.
It might also be recorded, that after this surgery - having assiduously followed the doctor's instructions to hold up the hand and not use it for the required period - there was at no stage noticeable pain or any swelling.
This was a thoroughly professional experience.

Dr. Love has removed two unsightly moles from my face now and has done a really beautiful job, all my family and friends are so impressed! Minimal scarring and quick healing time, he is a genius!
