I have been seeing Dr Dolan for 9 years now, first for a Lap Band and then after 5 years, removal of that and then the Gastric Sleeve and I am more than happy with what he has helped me achieve.
In my opinion Dr Dolan is the go to man if you want to lose weight, be prepared to do the work, the op is not where it stops, you have to change your mind set and start to live a healthy life and get your body moving.
My husband has since, also had the Gastric Sleeve and it has saved his life, losing all the weight he was carrying.

Dr Dolan is a perfect surgeon with rich experience and amazing skill. I have my sleeve surgery done on 16th of May and I don’t feel any pain or uncomfortable now, just sleep the first 1 or 2 days and all pain will gone, which is much better than I expected. Dr Dolan did a excellent job, I would recommend him to anyone who in need. Btw, hollywood hospital is a good choice too cause they gave me a private room with a nice big bathroom. I have found Dr Dolan and his clinic staff to be amazing. Dr Dolan is a straight shooter and an expert in his field. Would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with weight loss health issues.

I totally recommend Dr Dolan. He has performed over 10,000 of these surgeries so when I chose the gastric sleeve I felt confident in his success rate and I wasn’t disappointed. I have lost 45kgs in just over a year and I feel better than I have for many years after medication caused weight gain and related illnesses. I only wish that I’d had the surgery sooner.

A nurse at the hospital gave me some good advice in adapting to my new ‘sleeve’ she said listen to your body, you’ll know what it needs. I recommend doing so as having sugar-free drinks, etc were not suitable for me. I’ve still lost the weight and eat healthily without needing protein shakes which have the sugar-free component.

I do stress that you take vitamins every day and iron because you need to increase these in your diet to compensate for weight loss and decrease volume of food ingested.

Where to start.
Well, in 2009 with a starting weight of just over 180kg, enough was enough.
Enter Dr Kevin Dolan. At that stage, it was recommended that lap and surgery would be a suitable option and so my journey commenced. The lap and remained in situ until 2021 when I started getting severe esophagitis case by reflux issues associated with the band.
It had to be removed and, 8 weeks later, I received a gastric sleeve.
I could not be happier.
My weight is now around 100kg and still heading south.
Kevin and his team are great to work with, and are regarded as the best in the business.

Couldn't be happier with my experience with Kevin Dolan and his team.i am now 6 weeks post op, feel amazing and am almost half way to my goal weight. Everything could not have gone smoother and the one time i had a small issue, Kevin was on the phone to me within only a couple of hours.

I had my gastric bypass done 3.5 years ago, it was the best thing for me, still now have retained over 30k loss. It was a lot easy than the lapbanding that i previously had. The care I received from Dr. Dolan and his lovely staff was excellent.

In less than a few months post surgery Dr Dolan has given me my former life back. After being medically discharged from the Army after multiple back surgeries I put on over 40 kilos. Medication also played a huge part in my weight gain/genetics/ mental health. I was mentally drained, people telling me that I had been an athlete so I should know how to lose the weight. I was at breaking point and at a loss at how to lose the weight. I also appreciate Dr Dolan’s no nonsense attitude and honesty. I knew from the very beginning everything about this procedure. The after care is absolutely fantastic as well. I was suffering from severe heartburn. Taking 2 different prescribed medications and living on milanta tablets through the day, my oesophagus was very ulcerated and I had a large hernia inside my stomach. Thanks to Dr Dolan I'm free of heartburn, no medications anymore, I'm so very happy.

After my initial consult with Dr Dolan, all my questions were answered truthfully and more than enough information was given to me when the self doubt kicked in.
The process to my WLS was structured and legible. From hospital admissions to post op care. The staff were very accommodating and understanding.
I’m 4 months post mini gastric bypass and I can’t believe the changes my body has endured in this short time frame.
Initially, the changes to my diet were hard, but now, it’s a lifestyle that I’m used too. Alannah, the dietitian, has been wonderful and her guidance invaluable.
Starting weight 105kg now 72kg and still on the weight loss journey.
I have gained nothing but positivity from my decision.

Haven’t always seen eye to eye with Kevin but have always found him easy to talk to not the best bed side manner but a lest you know where you stand
