I have found Dr Timms so be absolutely fantastic. After breast cancer took both my breasts he created a new wonderful pair via DIEP Reconstruction. I’m so incredibly happy with my results. The whole team are brilliant, highly recommend.

I had an Extended Tummy Tuck with Dr Timms. He is a magician. I am SO thrilled with the results. I Highly recommend Dr Timms (with his gentle, friendly nature), and all the lovely friendly Ladies at the Practice too.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Timms. I had an extended tummy tuck and a breast lift/augmentation and am so stoked with the results. The healing was a dream, everything looks amazing and I've regained some confidence. The staff are all lovely and the prices are among the most reasonable out there for what is better work in my opinion.

DO NOT BOOK WITH DR IAN TIMMS. I went in for a breast implant change and to move my areola’s up a little. I could have chosen anybody to perform my surgery correctly. I was told by 2 other surgeons that I had consults with that I was a straight forward case, and easy job! But I chose Ian for the job because he was very nice.
After I woke up from surgery with Ian Timms he must have forgotten and did a full breast lift. I was devastated because I had not prepared myself for those sorts of scars. The left breast, to much breast tissue was removed making it deformed.
I was in a lot of pain and still am and have very uneven breasts now.
He tried the fix it, but unfortunately he did it incorrectly again! I have had 2 operations and time off work and still have to pay another surgeon to try and fix what Ian has done to me.
Ian even double cut me in the second operation, meaning, instead of cutting along the same scar he made the first time, he cut above it, giving me terrible scars.
There are no false statements here.

Dr Timms came into my life at a time I was in great need. I found him after word of mouth by numerous clients of mine, that had used his services prior to me. Their results were amazing!

Dr Timms is amazing! I had to have both of my eyelids fixed at different times and both times his work was fabulous. His work is so fine, he hides the cuts inside your natural lines so that you cannot even see the surgery. Dr Timms concern is that you look and feel amazing. He is very professional and has a lovely bedside manner. Dr Timms staff are kind, approachable and always ready to make sure you have a positive experience. A very happy patient of Dr Ian Timms, I underwent Radical Abdominoplasty, Mastopexy and Augmentation surgery 18 months ago and Brachioplasty revision and wedge lipectomy just recently.

After much research and consults elsewhere I met Dr Timms and his team; from the very first phone call I made to my last post-op appointment; I had no doubt that I'd chosen the right practice and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon for me.
My experience was fantastic, I was listened to, cared for, and respected. The dedication Dr Timms and his team have to patient care, pre and post operative, is second to none and I have never encountered anywhere quite like it.
Practice Manager Mel ensured everything was coordinated and communicated seamlessly and I had all details and info I needed pre-op. While my post-op care with Practice Nurse Fran was exceptional, she’s caring, super knowledgeable and has many wonderful tricks of the trade to help you get through your recovery, both ladies were just so kind and uplifting at my every appointment.
The lovely Reception staff were welcoming and never without a smile or a chat. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every visit was a pleasure, made for such a nice experience.
Dr Timms, not only one of Perth’s finest P&R Surgeons but also a genuine lovely gentleman, his cool (yet warm) and casual approach meant I never felt nervous he is patient and thorough and holds a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the female body and knew what I wanted to achieve better than I did!
I trusted his advice, experience, and the realistic outcomes we discussed together and to that end, I could not be happier with my results.
Dr Timms also recommended the absolute best lady anesthetists ever who just put me at ease so much.

After being diagnosed with an invasive breast cancer in early 2020, I had to undergo a right breast mastectomy with excision of all lymph nodes. This was followed by 6 months of heavy chemotherapy.
My BC surgeon then referred me to Dr Ian Timms for a consultation, as my self-esteem, body image and feelings of femininity were affecting me. I didn’t feel whole and I was considering a reconstruction.

My husband and I had a consultation with Dr Timms who discussed with us the different types of reconstruction, how they are performed and the advantages and disadvantages of each option that I needed to weigh up.
Personally, I knew from the start that I didn’t want implants so I opted to have a DIEP flap reconstruction (a procedure which uses abdominal fat and skin to reconstruct the breasts).
I had a very good understanding of the procedure and I immediately felt at ease with Dr Timms. Everything was explained to me in a way that I could understand.
Dr Timms also told me that in a lot of cases, a revision surgery is possible a few months later as the breasts can settle differently once the swelling and bruising disappear. In my case, one breast was a flat site (previous mastectomy), the other was an immediate mastectomy + reconstruction.

The lovely practice manager Mel arranged my admission at the Mount Hospital and also organised the postoperative appointments with their practice Nurse, Fran.
Fran also explained to me in details the recovery after the operation, healing and wound management. I opted to have 10 Healite sessions to speed up the healing process and help with the scarring.
Not once did I feel unsure about anything. Every question I had was answered truthfully.

My reconstruction was scheduled in June 2021 where my breast cancer surgeon performed the mastectomy on the remaining breast while Dr Timms and a conjoint surgeon performed a bilateral breast reconstruction with DIEP flap. A week in hospital, a long recovery and I followed every instruction to the letter.
I had several postoperative appointments with Fran to change the dressings, to check how my healing was going and to have Healite sessions.

In February 2022, I finally had a revision of both breasts. Dr Timms took some volume out of both breasts and lifted the left one which was lower. He also revised some scarring around the abdominal area.
Dr Timms wanted to make sure I was 100% happy with the results and a little tweaking here and there can make a big difference. Everything went very well, just an overnight stay in hospital.

Once again, Mel organised everything: admission, anaesthetist and the post-operative appointments with Fran. I continue to have Healite sessions as I find them to be very beneficial in my recovery and healing.

Both times, I had Dr Sharon Smedley as my anaesthetist, who is very approachable and caring.

So all in all, I had a very positive experience with Dr Timms and all the staff.
The whole team is professional and kind. It feels like they are one big family with their interaction with one another and with their patients. Linda, the administration officer at the front desk is very helpful and lovely. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
There is a general sense of wellbeing, a place where one can feel safe and taken care of, with a lot of empathy and no judgement.
I felt that I was completely taken care of by everyone and it was such a relief!

I highly recommend Dr Timms. The professionalism and dedication to his patients is second to none.

I was referred to Dr Ian Timms by my breast surgeon for reconstruction after a mastectomy due to breast cancer.
I don’t normally write reviews but feel that this is important for all women who are in the process of healing from breast cancer and are looking for a good plastic surgeon.
Well, I can thoroughly recommend Ian Timms and I am more than happy to do so. From the minute I met Ian I was immediately put at ease. He treated me with kindness and utmost respect and his knowledge of breast reconstruction is amazing.
After a few consultations I decided to undergo DIEP surgery. Dr Timms performed the operation for me in February this year and to say that I am pleased with the outcome is an understatement. He has done an absolutely amazing job. I am so pleased with the result. I can now look in the mirror and see the new “me”!
The whole team at Dr Timms practice are amazing, Mel, Fran, Linda, Jane and Sharee They are a very caring bunch and the aftercare is just amazing.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ian Timms and his team. He does an amazing job and is very skilled in all areas of his profession. Having been through multiple procedures for breast reconstruction the options were always fully explained, booking and admissions organised and made easy and post surgical care outstanding. Most importantly, Mr Timms, his nursing and admin team were at all times kind, caring and supportive. They go above and beyond to ensure the patients wellbeing is of the highest importance always.

Dr Ian Timms, Mel, his nurses Michele and Fran and his receptionist Carmel have stood by my side during my long recovery from breast cancer. I owe my life to Ian. It is due to his exceptional care and knowledge that I have survived some unexpected and painful complications from my breast cancer.

When it became apparent that I was going to undergo a long recovery period, Ian told me that he would stand by me until I was fully recovered. He was true to his word and I am pleased to say that I look and feel wonderful.

Mel, the practice manager, is very efficient and ensured my multiple hospital stays were organised quickly. Besides keeping the administration running smoothly, Mel has shown me extreme kindness and empathy. Her words of encouragement and the hugs given to me will never be forgotten.

The nurses, Michele and Fran, give exceptional care. Both are knowledgeable and gentle, taking their time to ensure that I received the utmost in care.

Finally, a special mention to Carmel, for always being so welcoming and kind. I cannot count the number of times Carmel came out from behind the desk to comfort me. She never allowed to step out into the street with tears in my eyes. She is ready with words of support whenever you need it.

I count myself to be one of the luckiest women alive. I have the best team who have worked hard to restore my appearance, and in doing so, restored my confidence. I will be forever grateful to Dr Ian Timms and his wonderful team.

My 15 years old daughter recently undergone breast reduction surgery. Dr Ian Timms and his wonderful team were there for both of us thru the whole journey.
Ian Timms is a very talented surgeon. My daughter is over the moon with the results (says the mother whose daughter was jumping up and down this morning in front of the mirror trying on her new bikini, ready for the summer less than three months after the procedure).
