Initially, I was feeling very apprehensive & overwhelmed for my son.
Within minutes after talking to Dr Chua, I could tell he was genuinely interested in helping my son.
He spoke to my son on his level.
Dr Chua listened when my son spoke to him, also taking the time to listen answer my questions. I did not feel rushed or not being heard, unlike some experiences a person may have.
I am relieved Dr Chua is walking alongside us on this journey.

Fantastic experience all round with Dr Chua, waited just under 4 months to be seen which I hear is great for a Paediatrician, after being formally diagnosed with ADHD my son now has the correct resources to thrive in life, he is a completely different kid! Yes, Mr Chua may be costly but it is worth every penny. As a single parent I did what I had to, to get the help my son so desperately needed, the house is finally peaceful again and I will be forever grateful to Dr Chua for this!

Dr Chua is lovely and has really helped my daughter cope better and school and has given great advice to help with her allergies!

Didn't get to see Dr Chua, but process to try and see him was a complete waste of time. Appalling communication. Sent the referral in Sept, no reply. Followed up to ask, they asked me to send it. Advised I had already, was asked to send it again. Had tried calling but no answer. Then (early Oct by now) response was 'he's busy until the new year, will be in touch at a later date'. 3 weeks later I asked if I'd be contacted this year about it, response was that "Dr Chua is reviewing all referrals received and our office will be in contact with a day and time for your appointment". I believe I got a call early Nov, but the line was so bad I asked them to call back the next day. I missed that call from the same number ("Prichard Michael G"). I emailed to ask if they'd been trying to contact me, and no reply. I just got a call from my doctor saying they've contacted them to say they can't help me. What a total waste of time! 2.5mths to figure that out

Dr Chua has a lovely bedside manner, however, after seeing him (a General & Respiratory Paed, & Immunology/Allergy Specialist for Paeds & Adults), it was evident that unless you simply want a diagnosis, Development (ADD/ADHD/ASD) is not Dr Chua’s area of speciality. I appreciate he may be trying to lessen the burden on the system but unfortunately Dr Chua did not take the time to do a comprehensive assessment before throwing out a diagnosis. He did not read the psychologist reports, or the Connors questionnaire, & not once did he ask what my concerns were. He simply read my daughter’s referral which was also pretty rubbish & literally just said ‘? ADD/ADHD? ASD’ & said ‘oh…so she’s inattentive’…which was not my concern for my daughter. I have recently seen a Developmental Paediatrician who spent 1.5 hrs with us with a follow-up in place. Now I have been to a Developmental Paed, I can see Dr Chua is not the best choice of Paed for developmental concerns.

Dr Chua is an amazing pediatrician, he currently sees 3 of our sons for some years now and their improvement at school, home and general wellbeing has improved more and more over the years. He listenes to our concerns and is always happy to answer any questions we have. His office staff are friendly. The follow up care post diagnosis has been nothing but professional. We have recommended Dr Chua to family and friends and recommend him to anyone looking for a good Pediatrician.

Our son (now 13yrs old) slipped through the cracks in primary school. We were told by teachers "he just doesn't concentrate" "he's a daydreamer" then once he started high school his grades fell, he became distant from his peers and he stated to hate school.
Yes, we had to wait 3+mths for an appointment to see Dr Chua but it was definitely worth it. His bedside manner is amazing. He spoke directly to our son and was very calm, gentle and receptive of our son's questions.
We didn't feel rushed and all our questions were answered clearly.
Our son was diagnosed with Inatentive ADD
Now 3months on and our boy is thriving at school, his grades have improved so much and he is just generally happy again.

Very impressed with the service as always! My family have been coming to see Dr Chua for many years and will continue to book appointments with his exceptional support and expertise.

Im trying to ring in office hours but they never answer the phone cant make the appointment and I cant contact them to change it does anyone else have that problem

Have been trying for 6 months to get our son medicated for adhd diagnosed by Dr chua 6 months ago, his reception never answer the phone and when they do, I’m not sure if they don’t pass on messages properly or he doesn’t read them properly. When he does returns calls, it’s outside office hours from a private number around 6: 30 or on Sunday mornings, so if you miss the call because you maybe having dinner or doing something with your kids, you can’t call him back. Also have called the office a few times around 3 on days the website says they are open until 4 and the you have called outside office hours answering service. Pretty poor.

Both my children see Dr Chua for the management of their ADHD. He has an excellent bedside manner. I have recommended his Practice to family and friends as my children and I are very happy with his services.

I had a referral for my 15 year old son who is already diagnosed with ASD but has undiagnosed mental health issues.

Six weeks waiting I called and advised books were closed.

Recently had a call advising of cancellations and asked if we were keen, only to be advised the fee schedule had changed and it would be $1,300 for an initial consultation.

This "Doctor" is an extortionist preying on vulnerable and desperate families in times of crisis.

Dr Chua has literally change my sons life. Angus has gone from being a recluse, no friends, no confidence and bad grades (46% in maths) to 96% in maths, lots of friends, smiling alot more and not scared to out himself out there. Thank you so much Dr Chua you are amazing!

I have had loads of problems with my grandson! Well bingo go for gold we have been seeing doctor Chua and the out come had been such a blessing! My grandson s able to concentrate at school getting higher marks and feeling quiet pleased with himself and so is his Nana! Thank you Doctor Chua it’s taken a while but you nailed his needs xx

Dr Chua is an amazing pediatrician who listened to our concerns and was happy to answer any questions we had for our 15 yr old son. His office staff are friendly and helpful also. Dr Hock was great. He was very kind and gentle with my son, talking to him and being patient with him. He was very thorough and listened to all our concerns. We didn’t feel rushed and felt heard as parents.

When I was I child I loved going in to see him, however as an adult I have recently discovered he misdiagnosed me for ADD when I should have been diagnosed with Autism.

Do not recommend at all.
Went in for an assessment of my child and he saw me for 5 minutes and not my son and charged me full price. Couldn't keep up with what I was saying, everything is dated and in desperate need of a new look. Do not recommend dont waste your money or time.
