My son had his gynecomastia surgery last month by Dr Colbert. The results are amazing so far. What makes it more amazing is that my son is happy to have just a shirt on with no jumper. My breast reduction journey with Dr Colbert and his amazing team, (Alana, Lisa and RNs) was second to none. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude, but here goes: -
As I have airway stenosis (narrowing) and being steroid dependent, I was anxious regarding the procedure and healing process, however, Dr Colbert's friendly and professional manner gave me the reassurance that I needed. He certainly is a credit to his profession.
I had my reduction on the 26 May 2022 and my follow up appointment on the 7th June. I received a call on the evening of the 6th from Dr Colbert to let me know that the pathology evaluation of the reduction tissue yielded a positive result for aggressive papillary cancer. I received another call the same evening to hear that my dad had gained his angel wings.
Even though I presented well at my appointment, I was an emotional mess. Dr Colbert gave me the okay to travel and initiated a referral to a specialist breast surgeon upon my return from South Africa.
I developed an infection which took +- 4 months to heal. Dr Colbert and his amazing RNs' saw me on a weekly basis until the infection cleared. I have never met a doctor who is so passionate in their profession and having such a compassionate bedside manner. He never complained and never made me feel uncomfortable for all my after hours telephone calls and texts (especially during his family time). He also took the time to send me the most gorgeous bouquet from himself and his staff. This gesture blew me away and helped me to give my all in dealing with the cards I was dealt with. And, I have never heard a doctor say that, "money is not everything" when I queried that all my follow up visits were not charged, and I was issued with a regular supply of medical taping and wound dressing. I am still gobsmacked to this day and I tell my story to all and sundry.
I had my final visit in March 2023 (after completing chemo and radium therapy), and ecstatic to have been given the all clear. THANK YOU once again Dr Colbert and team, you are angels walking this earth. I could not recommend Dr Colbert highly enough.

I recently had a breast lift and reduction. He is very easy to talk to and made me feel very confident getting the procedure.
The hospital staff at West Leederville were also amazing and I feel very happy with how everything went and how well I was cared for.

So I chose Dr David Colbert from the amazing reviews I read online, and here I am writing my own.
I literally only sent a message to these guys 3 weeks ago enquiring and now I have my surgery over and done with, with the most amazing results.
Dr Colbert is a really down to earth, welcoming person who made me feel so at ease about my procedure and the efficiency of his practice is like no other.
Alana on reception is always so cheerful and welcoming by phone and in person.
Overall these guys are in my opinion are the best, speak to these guys before you look elsewhere, you won’t be sorry.

I had surgery with Dr Colbert just over two weeks ago and the experience was fantastic. Dr Colbert is welcoming, reassuring and friendly. He answers questions and provides advice honestly, and put me at ease throughout the entire experience. His staff provide paperwork promptly and are so lovely to interact with. My surgery went well and I’ve felt very supported by Dr Colbert during my recovery. Would highly recommend!

Dr Colbert performed a breast reduction and lift on me 4 months ago and I couldn't be happier with the results. The procedure was explained in detail at the initial consultation and again pre surgery. He has a very friendly, caring nature and great sense of humour which definitely helps settle the nerves when 'baring all'!: D

I have now had 2 surgeries with Dr Colbert and I still stand by my original review of him below. He has changed life for the better and I can not thank him enough.

I saw Dr Colbert for my consultation for a breast reduction.
From my first meeting I felt comfortable and relaxed with him, as he has a very gentle but straight forward approach. I booked my surgery when I left and I am now 4 weeks post op and I could not be happier with my results, he has exceeded my expectations. He listened to what size I wanted and very much delivered.
David explain everything that he was going to do in the op and what to expect. My post op care has been amazing. I can not speak more highly of him. He is a very gifted surgeon.
Alana and Lisa made the process of making appointments very easy and nothing was ever a problem.

I’m someone who suffers from anxiety. I felt at ease from my first consult with Dr Colbert. He was honest with me which made me feel confident in choosing him to do my explant surgery & lift.
