I can highly recommend Dr Daniel Ellyard as being an excellent pain management specialist and anaethesist, and as well a top person. I have been a patient of Dan's for the last two years. His personal and professional attributes put me at ease immediately, and his quiet, friendly approach instilled confidence in his abilities. He is extremely thorough and a wonderful diagnostician. Dan truly looks outside the square, and never gives up on helping his patients. My history of long standing and complicated chronic pain is very complex, but due to Dan's persistence, his experience and very inquiring intelligent mind, he tracked down for me the final piece in the puzzle. I owe so much to Dan for giving me back my life. Dan was able to identify the issue that had been eluding other specialists due to his persistence, experience and intelligence. Dan never once gave up on me. Dan's wife and practice manager Jess, is very engaging, kind, obliging, and most efficient in keeping the patient informed in all respects. Both Dan and Jess have been very supportive of me in my journey, and I know I could not have been in better hands. They make a wonderful team! I speak coming from experience of other pain management specialists who did not meet the high standards Dan applies in his practice and in caring for his patients. Additionally he is highly regarded by hospital and theatre staff which in my experience shows a hallmark of excellence.
