Dr Anh Plastic Surgeon, Medispa & Wellness

This place is a money hungry business. I just needed to know a rough estimate on the cost of implant removal but they wouldn't tell me unless I payed 500 for a referral. I understand all cases are different and price could vary but I literally just needed an estimate so I could know how much I needed to save.

Think we dodged a bullet, especially after reading some of the other recent reviews.

After meeting Dr Anh and attending her clinic years ago for a breast cancer WA matter, I was impressed so I thought I’d come back and try it for a number of the offered services.

After multiple attempts to contact the clinic to ask about the laser skincare, personal cosmetic treatments, and possibly a significant surgery for a good friend of mine - I’m appalled at the service I received from Tarryn the receptionist.

Firstly, when I initially said I that I had few questions about treatments and asked if she could help.she seemed put off. I then explained that I’d been trying for weeks to contact them, but she said they can’t access their voicemail. I did advise that I left a message with the lovely accounts lady who answered the endless ringing phone a couple of weeks prior.and she informed me the two girls on reception would come back to me. Didn’t happen. Phone kept ringing and left on hold for so long I hung up the other times I tried.

The receptionist whom I spoke with seemed very incompetent. Ah - your job is to HELP the business as a receptionist, not hinder it.

Her approach was rude when she was explaining to me how every part of the business has different consulting fees and for each query I had, required a different consulting fee. She also explained with huge attitude tone, that I had to pay upfront for all appointments on booking and that I needed to come in to understand any questions I had at all about the treatments - she seemed assuming as if we couldn’t afford it.

It’s unfortunate that she wasn’t more knowledgeable about the treatments and just pushed for the varied consulting fees, $90-$500 depending on what I wanted to discuss. Each consult would be a different appointment with another cost too! Talk about working harder not smarter I was asking basic and very common cosmetic procedures t understand if should book an appt.this all just seems very time intensive and not professional enough for me - pass!

Based on this experience I would no longer recommend Dr Anh’s clinic.

This place used to be good now I wonder if anyone goes there very little experienced staff messy treatment rooms.

She’s is an amazing talented surgeon but also a beautiful caring woman.
I had my surgery with Dr Anh and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. All surgery can be a scary daunting experience but I never felt scared or nervous, right from my first consultation through to my after care all of Dr Anh’s team are a amazing team of professionals who care for their patients like family and friends.
I am very happy with my results but Im just so grateful that I had my surgery done with Dr Anh like I said she is a very talented knowledgeable woman and surgeon. If you are thinking of getting surgery this amazing woman is the best and like me you will be very happy and definitely in very safe hands

Dr Anh and her team are amazing from the moment you walk in the door. At my most recent visit I had the privilege of Nurse Grace taking care of me. Nurse Grace definitely delivers, I left with my skin feeling amazing and a good tip for a new restaurant - thanks Nurse Grace.

Beautiful company and people are so friendly and helpful. Receptionist was really friendly and made you feel comfortable and showed us to a waiting room which was amazing! Gaby and Dr Rob was amazing too explaining everything to me and giving me more options. I had an email from Gaby the same day which is really impressive. Thank you for making me feel at ease. Cannot recommend them enough.

My whole experience was amazing! From start to finish. I had consults with other surgeons before Dr. Anh and none of them compared to her. She made me feel so at ease. All of her staff were amazing the whole way through.

The morning of my surgery I was very anxious and she made me feel so much better, it’s nice to have a Doctor when they actually care about their patients and I felt this with Dr. Anh.

She was present at every consult and present before and after my surgery.

I am in very little pain as the hospital called my support person before picking me up to organise my scripts and have them ready for me.

I got filler and botox under both eyes. Dr Rob and team made me feel so comfortable and calm - I am very uncomfortable around needles but they were very understanding and talked me through the whole process. I loved my results immediately and had no bruising, swelling or pain afterwards. I'll definitely be back!

Being my first ever surgery and my first time put to sleep I was feeling extremely nervous! But Dr Anh and all of the staff at St John of God hospital in Mt Lawley made me feel so comfortable and calm

My procedure was an absolutely amazing experience, beginning with the first consultation with Dr. Rob Choa. He is a wonderful surgeon who really made this entire process easy for me.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, no question was ever silly, and no amount of questions were ever too much. You can really tell he cares great about his clients, and achieving the best results to ensure their total satisfaction!

Dr Anh has the most kind and warm personality. She makes you feel at ease the moment you start talking to her. Dr Anh was very supportive throughout making my surgery decision and was upfront with all information and risks involved, making me feel at ease. She is passionate and extremely good at what she does. On the day of surgery she came in for a chat before hand and came to check on me after. Just over 6 months ago I underwent a breast reduction and lift with Dr Ahn. Dr Ahn and her team were amazing from my first phone call to my final follow up appointment. The care and attention I received before during and after my procedure are to be commended. My results have been outstanding and I couldn’t be happier. I first heard of Dr Anh through a friend who had had some treatment. I had been researching different surgeon's for some time & was really interested to hear all about my friends experience, procedure & treatment.

From the very first consultation I had with Dr Anh she was just so beautiful & encouraging. I pointed out the area's that I saw as 'flawed'. Dr Anh pointed out the beauty she saw in those same area's. She listened, respected the changes I wanted & made it happen.

This is the first review I’ve ever had to write as I’ve never experienced such poor service in my life. Apologies for the novel.

As a Mother of two beautiful girls I noticed after breast feeding my breast implants of 11 years had dropped below my natural breast tissue and decided it was time to put myself first and seek to get them replaced and/or lifted depending on expert advice.

Being self conscious and insecure of how I looked I liked the idea of a female surgeon. After plenty of research, review reading and phoning clinics I decided I will go ahead and book a consultation with Dr Ahn. Her consultation fee of $500 was higher than other surgeons but after speaking with her staff on the phone they insured me that if I was to go ahead with the surgery (lift or just replace) it will certainly be within my $20,000 budget, so I booked in the consult and waited impatiently (I was so excited I had finally found my surgeon and was one step closer to feeling beautiful again).

Fast forward to consultation day, Dr Arn was running an hour late so I eagerly waited - I too work with specialists so I understand doctors usually run late and this was fine, I had waited months for a consult so what’s another hour in the waiting room.

During the consultation I felt judged, belittled and like there was something seriously wrong with the way I looked. She mumbled under her breath to her colleague that “we have another Sophie on our hands” which I wasn’t sure what she was implying as that’s not my name.
I have a slight drop of the in-plants below my natural breast tissue and she called it a double bubble which she made me feel like it was a huge issue (I’ve since had a second opinion and it wasn’t a concern) and she felt there wasn’t a lot she could do about it and that it most likely will drop again. She pointed out that because of my age (I’m 32) and the fact that I’ve had two kids there’s no way she can achieve near close to pre-breast feeding breasts. Dr Ahn proceeded to tell me I won’t achieve the look I desire.
She was so blazay whether i needed a lift or not, (i mean i wouldn’t spend an extra 12k if i didnt actually need it). She exuded zero confident in her own capabilities therefore I left with no confidence in her.
I expected a lot more suggestions of what we should do to achieve the look i was after and for her to take control of the consultation. I walked out of the consultation nearly in tears.

The quote came back at $34,555 which was well over my budget of $20,000 that I had discussed with her reception staff on my initial enquiry who assured me. So i was very upset because i never would have waited all that time, wasted $500 if it was never in my price range to begin with, i understand surgeons can charge what they want but to tell me false information is wrong. It’s been 7 weeks since my consult and there has been no follow up from her clinic. I felt as though I had been robbed.

I ended up having a second opinion with a male surgeon who made me feel as though there’s nothing wrong with the way I look and that I’m doing this for ME. He is confident in his abilities to achieve the outcome I desire and his quote came in at $16,000!

If you want to feel belittled, unconfident and ripped off then Dr Ahn is your surgeon!
