Dr Kiyingi is extremely professional and experienced. I found him very approachable, knowledgeable and he was able to answer all my questions. The surgery was extremely well done as my recovery was very easy with very little discomfort.

The absolute best. A great surgeon who takes time to talk and listen. The clinic covers everything from pre-op advice, scans & tests, through to post-surgery care, dietician services and all the follow-up. I went from an obese 108kg (BMI 38) to a healthy 71kg (BMI 23) in 6 months. The ongoing care helps keep me on track and I couldn't be happier.

Had my gallbladder removed by Dr Kiyingi. The surgery went very well and my recovery was a breeze. Dr Kiyingi is very professional and caring. Would highly recommend him for ANY surgery.

I was extremely nervous about starting this journey. My sister in law referred me to Dr Andrew Kiyingi.
At my first appointment, he made me feel at ease very quickly. He was professional, kind, informative, and truthful.
We spoke about how important my part towards this journey would be. Changing habits and learning about food.
I am two weeks postop, and since my first appointment until now I have lost 20 kg?
The procedure itself went smoothly, and I had no pain or nausea afterwards. I was given a very specific step-by-step procedure to follow during postop which made things very easy.

I had a sharp downturn with my Gall Bladder, and Dr Kiyingi and Sharon did everything to get me into hospital 3 days later. I have just had a Gastric Sleeve Procedure at The Mount Private Hospital.
The Head Surgeon, Dr Kiyingi and his Team who carried out the procedure were highly professional and informative throughout the process.
Everyone at The Mount including after care Drs, nurses, students, orderly's and hospital staff have been so supportive. I would Highly recommend anyone having this procedure to get in touch with Dr Kiyingi rooms in SJOG Mount Lawley.

I was referred to Dr Kiyingi in 2022 by a friend after being talked out of weight loss surgery by my GP in 2019.
My weight increased and was suffering from depression, I went to see another GP in 2021. After trying the last possible option before surgery and it not being successful I had an initial appointment with Dr Kiyingi.

Dr Kiyingi discussed the options available for me. As I had to wait for my private health to cover the surgery it gave me additional time to make my decision and continue trying to lose weight on my own.

I had bypass surgery on 3 March 2023. The surgery went well, although I had a reaction to the antibiotics and had to stay in hospital an extra day. Even though it was a long weekend, Dr Kiyingi came to see me each day.

Dr Kiyingi has a reputation for being precise.
I could not have asked for a better surgeon and trust him completely.
He has done his part in my journey, now it’s up to me to follow his instructions and continue, knowing that I have his support and knowledge to guide me.

I had my sleeve with Dr Kiyingi in june 2022, and i could not be happier with the results so far.at my first appointment, i weighed 110kg and now, nearly 4 months post op, i weigh around 80kg.
