Nice Brewski and a meal deal in Wednesdays best day to grab a massive deal saving with a pint

Great deals and easy to wonder down to the new local enjoying a brief chess game with a Parmi very moist and excellent value.

Felt like a pub lunch and decided to try Down the Road today and it was well worth it. Parmi and steak sanga were beautiful, and well priced. Staff were excellent too. We were very happy and will be back for sure.

Amazing food and service! We didn’t expect that food will be good. Apart from Sunday roast, we also order salt and pepper squid. Affordable price and big size. The roast probably a bit dry but everything is gold (Sunday roast had yorkshire pudding, potato au gratin, broccolini, fries, and salad). Squid was pretty yummy with lots of salad and big size.

The pub is suitable for family, I had seen a few families with their children. It also has a few tabs machine, smoking area and outdoor seat with gas heaters and fireplace on during winter.

Steak sandwich was great also the squid.great to be able to take the dog as well.other people had dog not on a lead that went for my dog on a lead as we were leaving should be enforced by management so this doesn't happen and dog owners should be more responsible. But all over much nicer than the old ambassador tavern. Good work guys will be back

Local Pub with good quality food. Friendly staff and Thursday entertainment. I will definitely visit again. My companion also agrees on the food quality.

Always good for a quick pint, the renovations make the place look more welcoming and cosy, all the food is cheap compared to other pubs but it's still tasty.

Best bang for the buck food ive had at a bar and grill, that cheesburger was better than most burger joints ive been to, hats off to the chef. Atmosphere was quite nice and the staff were really friendly. Definitely recommend going

Went in for Tuesday lunch with my brother, $15 parmi and pint. Was very surprised at how good the food was for that price, highly recommend!

Very tasty and affordable food. We have been 6 times in the last few months and can’t fault this place.

Their meals are always amazing. Pop has the T-bone which is cooked to perfection. I had their meatlovers chicken parmigiana and it hits the spot with tenderness and flavour. The jalapeño bites are delicious. The food is always delicious. The staff are friendly, efficient and hardworking. The atmosphere is relaxing.

Haven't eaten there yet. But it looks good. The bar staff are great, friendly and helpful. Really enjoy coming back to this place

Very friendly staff, great prices, large portions of food. Great place for an evening out, especially when they have a band playing.
The kitchen team are very helpful to work round dietary requirements.
