Doon Doon Station reviews
37Terrific roadhouse, good facilities, grassy sites, big camp kitchen and clean amenities. The roadhouse itself is not licensed so don't forget your frosties but the food and coffee are great, friendly staff as well, top spot
Great rest stop for fuel and toilet break. Had a doon doon burger and it was delicious. Freshly cooked and the salad was also fresh and crispy lettuce. Would definitely stop there again on our way back.
A truck stop, a roadhouse where travellers and the locals can purchase a meal. There is a caravan park, camping site a shower and toilet too.
If you have spent time in the northern territory and you like NT iced coffee and if you're travelling north up the west coast this is the first place you can buy NT iced coffee from. So this place gets 5 stars because it sells NT iced coffee
A really convenient break about half way along the drive between Kununurra and Halls Creek. The staff have all the local info you could ever want or need, and are a friendly bunch too. The store has all the essentials, and quite a few extras as well.
Prices are normal for a remote outpost.
Easy access to the toad disposal bin on the south side of the servo.
Good little stop. Free unpowered sites. $25 pn for a powered site. Green grass and shade. Shower is at the service station next door. Very clean. Owner and caretaker both very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
Hot food petrol camping around back on dirt ok spot for night if needed on petrol till hall's creek
On our way from Darwin to Broome, Doon Doon Roadhouse was the cheapest yet by far the best campground!
We got lured in by the roadside sign saying “free coffee” and ended up staying for the night.
Plenty of room for camping, a well-equipped kitchen, nice grass, nice shower and toilets (a bit of distance from the campsite but we managed by driving to the bathroom and loved it!)
We didn't stay here but wished we would've! $10 unpowered sites, grass and shade available first in first served. The roadhouse was quite good which we did utilize. Oasis middle of nowhere
It is a great stop food is awesome staff extremely helpful either in roadhouse or in the park beside you can use it as a point to travel in either direction
Roadhouse and a store.
An hour drive away from el questro camping site.

Just emerged earlier than planned from the
disapointing dust bowl that is Elquestro to find a lovely oasis at Doon Doon Roadhouse and Caravan Park. Beautiful big grassy sites with good shade for the caravan, limited but clean amenities, great food and exceptionally friendly service. Allowed us to recover and dedust. Dont mind dust, expect it in the outback, but do not enjoy being covered in clouds of it constantly. Thank you Doon Doob, highly recommend your roadhouse and caravan park.
Very tidy very clean good staff they actually toast their toasties (toasted sandwiches) every other Roadhouse throw their bread on the hot plate
Nice place to stop and refresh. Fuel okay price wise. Friendly staff and clean toilts. Cane toafs disposal chute here for live toads!
Guy who runs the roadhouse is a legend. Made the veggie burger vegan for me, and added more salad for no extra. And made everyone who was there at the time a fruit smoothie for free. Not staying the night but highly recommend you pop in and say hi
Stopped here today very friendly and helpful service, the person who served us went over and beyond to answer my questions regarding food and my allergies. The premises were very clean neat and tidy, toilet area very clean. Very impressed overall and definitely worth a stop to support this business.
Large apron and acceptable prices between Halls Creek and Kunnanurra.
Small van park adjacent and free camp without power. Food and amenities as well.
